About: I have taken care of dogs from 2 weeks old to 12 years old. Have checked on bunnies also so willing to do more then just dogs and cats if needed. I’m currently working 7-5 in Sioux Falls but outside of that time frame I will be able to check on your fur babies and on weekends. I will keep their routine as close as normal to possible. I prefer keeping the animals at their own place so they are most comfortable
About: I have had a dog all while growing up. I am experienced in caring for big and small dogs: taking them on walks, feeding and watering, exercising, and caring for them. I am patient with dogs who are still in training and respect their owners wishes in how they perfer their pup to be cared for. I am currently a student in college. I have plenty of time in between classes to come home for potty breaks, playing, and feeding. Caring for dogs is more of a lifestyle than a job for me. I love the company and love for attention they bring. I have a decent sized yard and a pup of my own to play and keep your dog company. He is very playful and friendly but has also been taught to "read the room" incase the other dog isn't in a playful mood. I have a big window so they can look out and watch squirrels, birds, and cars go by. The road I live on is not heavy with traffic so I feel secure in letting my dog go out and play by his self.
“Trudy is very caring, timely, shares plenty of pictures, and is easy to communicate with. She wants the best for your pet. We would highly recommend Trudy. We have rebooked with her multiple times.”

“Chris spent extra time with Hank on Christmas day when booked two days prior. She even cleaned up a mess that was made by our mistake after we had left for the day. Was not expected but SO appreciated. Sadly Rover limits tips to 30% of service because she deserves so much more! Will definitely be using Chris in the future.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for years and have worked at multiple dog boarding/daycare facilities. I have also had e-collar and dog behavior training. I currently work a full time job at a dog daycare and boarding facility and want to use my experience to be of more help to pet parents. In clients homes and out for walks I strive to give dogs the best care I can provide and stay in communication with parents to the best of my ability.
“We can’t recommend having Caitlin care for your pets enough!! She takes such great care of our puppy and makes sure he gets lots of love and exercise when she visits! We will continue to book with her whenever our puppy needs care 😊”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
“She has taken great care of my dogs while I'm at work and they need to go outside. Sends pictures as I requested. I recommend her to anyone that needs someone for drop ins, etc.”

“Had a great experience with Madison, she did 3x daily drop in visits for our cat and dog while we were out of town. She was a clear communicator, easy to get ahold of, and sent pics every visit showing the pets playing and getting treats. She also collected our mail and put it on the table. Would recommend!”

I grew up around dogs and have always had a natural connection with them—from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I genuinely love being active, so long walks, playtime, and getting outside with your dog are something I look forward to. Whether your pup is big, small, shy, or full of energy, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and make sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m also a registered nurse, which means I’m attentive, responsible, and comfortable handling a wide range of needs—including giving medications or caring for older dogs who may need extra support. My schedule is flexible, and I’m committed to providing consistent, loving care while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated so you have peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule as a nurse. On my days off, I have full availability for walks, drop-ins, or extended visits. About: I am a 30 year old RN in Sioux Falls. I grew up on a farm in the country and my entire life we had dogs and other animals in the family. My dog prior to moving was a pitbull/lab mix. I raised him from a puppy until his last days where I was sleeping with him on the garage floor. I definitely learned how to manage a muscular dog thanks to him. I now have a Merle Great Dane, Meeko. He loves playing with other dogs and even tries playing with cats. I have a 3.5 year old son and 1.5 year old daughter. I work three, 12 hour shifts a week, differing days of week, and every third weekend. I switch between days and nights with a majority on days so I am pretty flexible! I only take bookings for daycare or boarding when I'm off work unless your dog is used to being kenneled for 10-12 hours. If just needing drop in visits, I am able to do those before/after work. I have a fenced backyard and my dog loves playing with any sized dog. I have babysat for dogs from weiner dog to other great dane sized. A lot of outside time is offered to burn off energy. That also gives them a break from my wild toddler and baby.
“Miss Madison is amazing! She took such great care of both my babies. She boarded my senior dog and did drop in visits on my cat. Madison also has a senior dog so it was nice for him to have a companion he could keep up with! She sent lots of pictures and updates during my trip that gave me the warm and fuzzies that my animals were in great care. I plan to book with her again soon! Thank you again Miss Madison!”
