“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I have 2 pups and have taken care of dogs for friends and family for years. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies and everything in between. I can handle tough walkers, energetic pups, medication management and crate training. Im flexible and available to meet beforehand so you can feel comfortable leaving your dog in my care. I took a break from Rover last year but now I have a house with a fully fenced yard in West Sacramento! I currently have open availability to care for your pups needs! Walks, belly rubs, playtime and photo updates are included. Your dogs will be treated like family. On Monday, Wednesdays & Fridays I work half days from home. Please message me directly to ensure Doggy Day Care times work for both of us, morning vs afternoons depend on work meetings. On weekends I work virtually. I am available for boarding &house sitting made in advance. I have two dogs that can keep yours company if need be. I can handle finicky eaters, leash agression and medication requirements as needed. I have crates available as well if that is your preference or you are in the process of crate training.

About: I am a longtime cat and dog lover with over 25 years experience in caring for pets. I also have experience working in healthcare and love to care for senior pets, puppies, kittens and pets of all ages and sizes. About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

About: note: I primarily board and daycare puppies - check out my puppy rate (lower). Adults are at a higher rate and considere on case by case basis due to my dogs being attacked in the past. Only small/medium submissive adults will be considered. We love puppies! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and they’ve always been part of the family. My home is cozy and dog-friendly, with two large pups of my own and a spacious, fenced backyard they can enjoy through a dog door while I’m home. When I’m away, all dogs stay safely inside. To keep things comfortable, I host no more than four dogs at a time (including my own). If you have more than two dogs from the same household, I may be able to make an exception depending on their size and needs. If I’m watching a puppy or a dog that cannot be alone for 4 hours, I can accommodate if my schedule is open. For long stays, there are some days i may be out longer than 4 hours if I have an event but I will let you know before booking. Your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture and will receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime from me and my two dogs and will have free roam in the house. We have a communal toy bin and a spacious, fenced backyard accessible via a dog door when I’m home. When I leave, the dogs are secured inside the house. Until your pup is ready to free roam unsupervised with my dogs, they’ll have a safe, separate hallway complete with a comfy dog bed, toys, and water, so they can still see and enjoy the company of the others for the times I am not home . If your fur baby prefers a crate while I’m away, I can do that only if they genuinely enjoy their crate and look forward to settling in. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to take them for a drive to a nearby park or a friendly neighborhood walk. I care about a harmonious environment, so I can only host dogs that get along well with others. My home is best suited for pups who love to play and mingle, and I currently host up to two small to medium dogs to keep things cozy. We love puppies.
