About: I have owned and cared for many, many dogs over the years (also cats, a bird, fish, hamsters, turtles). I LOVE animals! I have cared for a very sick dog while her owner was out of the country. No one wants that to happen but I am dedicated to the care of all animals as if they were my own children. I understand each animals unique personality and needs. I love hiking and walking and there are no better companions than dogs. My first priority is keeping your pet safe, second is their happiness! I understand that having their owners away can be stressful so they need lots of love and exercise. I won't be walking multiple dogs so that I can give enough attention to each individual dog. I am retired and am available at home all day. I can come to your home to walk or check in on your animals any time. I have a fenced yard for your dog to play in and to be safe. I never leave the dogs in the yard unsupervised. My own dog will keep yours company.
“Cheryl is very dependable, and offers great suggestions. She is prompt with her visit summaries and provides photos. Its soo nice to receive the updates as to how the visits went. I couldn't be happier. ”

“Asah was amazing!! My puppy got sick and I had to modify the booking at the last minute and he was very accommodating. Not only did he update me constantly when Teddy was sick, but he played with him and walked him once he was better. I plan to continue using him and I recommend him if you’re looking for help with your fur baby!”

“Apollo was excited to see Madelyn as usual and enjoyed the visit. Madelyn sent several pictures and a little video of my fur baby which is always fun to recieve. Thank you very much Maddy!”

“Courtnie was the perfect puppy sitter. Our pup Leia looked forward to her visits and Courtnie’s attentiveness and daily updates helped put our mind at ease! 10 out of 10 would recommend for any dog sitting needs!!”

“Rachel is a true animal lover, very conscientious, kind, and attentive to detail. She handled the somewhat tricky meds situation for one of my dogs, and gave all of them (plus a various cat or 2) a lot of attention. She went above and beyond! Thank you very much, Rachel! You are on the top of our list!”

My background in client based service work has trained me to be detail oriented, responsive, and highly observant of behavior changes, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. About: Hi! Available for (much of) Santa Cruz and Cochise Counties, including Ft Huachuca. I grew up on a farm, worked at a vet clinic, and have always had animals and pets when my life permitted. I have a passion for our furry "family members" as well as learning all different types of animal behavior. Dogs, cats, horses, cows, donkeys, fish, and even took care of a camel a time or two. My professional and athletic life has taken me around the world, and frankly, caring for pets of family, friends and neighbors throughout the years has still always been a most gratifying highlight! I have the patience and energy to match dogs of all temperaments, so let me know how I can support you and your family! If my profile is visible, it means I have plenty of time to help out with your furry family members, be it pet-sitting, walking, or just checking in on them. I have a highly-flexible schedule and a vehicle large enough to crate/transport if needed. As far as housesitting, depending on the proximity, would be flexible on either daily check-in and/or possibly overnights. Please reach out in advance to discuss. I live on a large ranch but do prefer to keep them leashed when walking (until I know they heel well AND to keep YOU more confident). I'm flexible on this based on consults with you. They would sleep indoors, and if you prefer, I could easily crate as well. Non-smoking home. You can bet I'll treat them as my own!
About: I’ve been around dogs as long as I can remember and I love walking so we have that in comming. I trained my own dog at 16 and she’s the best friend a girl could ask for. I currently take night time and part of the weekend classes so my days are open! I’m available Monday through Thursday until four in the afternoon. I have two dogs one small and one large. They go outside frequently and get at minimum one walk a day usually in the mornings but I try to sneak in evening walks as much as possible so we can catch the sunset.
“I’m one of “those” cat moms and I was very nervous to leave my girl but Shelby was fantastic and kept me updated about her visits, and sent pictures. If we need a sitter again, I will definitely call Shelby first.”

I have worked with a wide range of breeds and also have experience with animals that have special needs such as insulin injections, oral medications, eye drops, etc. I am available week days with flexible hours and weekend hours are negotiable due to being a military wife. YOUR PETS WILL BE TREATED AS IF THEY WERE MY OWN! I have references upon request for review and am available for contact between 5 am to 11 pm. I am a SAHM so hours are flexible for walks and drop-in visits during the week. I am unavailable between 10:30am to 12:30pm during the week. On weekends I have full availability. About: Ever since I was a young girl, I believed in the overall happiness and well-being of all kinds of pets. I have one (1) year of experience caring for my friends’ pets; namely dogs, cats, and fish at my home as well. Those are the pets I am most comfortable with and in each pet caring role I have gotten wiser about their needs. It has been an enjoyable experience taking exceptional care for their health and well-being. I am currently not working, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I am available for walking and drop-in visits on weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Upon request and schedule planning, I can occasionally work beyond the scheduled eight (8) hours and part time on the weekends (4 hours each on Saturday and Sunday). Depending on your location, I will drive to your home and look after your pet how you would like for me to care for them. I am always happy to accommodate! Common tasks I will perform based on your preferences are to take your pet out for an enjoyable stroll to give it plenty of exercise and relief, drop off at your house fully recharged, and provide them food and water with the resources you have available at your home. By the time our play date is over, your pet will receive the feeding, playtime, petting, and happiness it deserves. About: Well I was a caregiver a large part of my job was pet care for my clients. Discovered a passion for pet care, love it. I work part-time Friday Saturday and Sunday. I have set aside Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday for my pet care. every pet is shown the same level of compassionate care that they get from family. I love and appreciate all breeds of dogs and cats. Your pet will receive extra attention and be supervised by myself while in my care.
About: To whom it may concern: First, thank you for taking the time to consider me as a candidate to care for your pet. I want to assure you of my level of expertise, nurturing nature, and concern for training and order in their life/lives. After reviewing my qualifications, I urge you to consider the value you get by employing a candidate like myself--your pet will be treated like my own, cared for and assuredly will have an enjoyable time. My husband and I own a very well behaved and playful Australian Shepherd, Malachi. He's currently two and a half years old, and regularly receives attention that a herding dog needs. He's walked, exercised, and ran throughout the week. We constantly reinforce good habits and sharpen his training. Since we purchased him as a puppy, here's a small list of the training that he has mastered. - Sit - Come - Lay down - Roll over - Paw and other paw - Fetch - Whisper - Speak - Crawl - Get your ball - Drop it - Leave it Anybody can list a number of commands their dog has mastered, but it goes to show the amount of training that we have invested in our pet. We're regularly ensuring that he knows how to behave in front of people, other dogs, and alone. Dogs have very active brains that need to be worked out in order to keep them from developing bad habits such as digging, chewing, and needlessly barking. I will, if hired, employ the same level of determination in reinforcing your pet(s) good habits so that they are the best behaved that they can be. While I don't have a lot of quantitative experience in handling pets on my resume, our friends routinely consider us first for their long term pet care needs. We have recently watched our neighbors' two dogs for a period of 17 days while they went out of state--their dogs got walks, training, treats, and play time as appropriate. I am driven to get an opportunity to prove my value to you as a pet care provider. Consider me for employment and I know that both you and your pet(s) will be satisfied with the decision. I'm available to meet and interview prior to any employment. I will also consider dog-sitting in home if your dog is up to date on vaccines and has a local veterinary care provider. Thanks again for your consideration. I look forward to hearing positively from you soon. Very Respectfully, Carlyn Buchs
