I’ve also had the joy of being a “pet grandpa,” helping care for family pets and spending lots of quality time with dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. About: I have been taking care of smaller dogs for over 40 years. Very loving and caring, your pets will be safe with me. I prefer to have smaller dogs up to 15 pounds. I am able to watch your cuddly little pet throughout the day. Prefer to have them by 8 AM in the morning and can watch them up until five or six in the evening. Your doggie will be in the home with me throughout the day, but I do have a nice side yard and area for potty and a great neighborhood to walk them around in. I live in a 55+ community.

About: Rescue Ranch is 15 acres of forest and fenced pasture to play in. I am happy to host your pets while you are away. Animal love and care is what this farm is all about. I can provide individualized treatment for your pet including: administering meds, special diets, bathing, nail trim, training time, play time, social time with other dogs and LOTSA love !! I am retired and spending all my time on the farm and in the woods. Your pet is welcome to join me out here in God's country. I have several fenced acres to play in, forest trails to walk, cable runs, and a warm loving home. I have a German Pointer in the home and 3 Great Pyrenees outside protecting the farm. I will do a detailed interview to determine how I can best meet your pet's needs. I have cared for a large variety of farm animals including assisting difficult births, administering both oral and injected meds, surgery recovery, wound care, suture removal, bottle feeding, wound care, seizure management, etc.

During my time in the military, I was fortunate to have a few incredible opportunities to work with military working dogs—an experience that deepened my respect for animal intelligence, discipline, and emotional needs. Now that I’ve recently transitioned out of the military, I’m taking time to reconnect with the things I love most: animals, nature, and a slower pace of life. That also means I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to your pet’s unique needs—whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, playtime, or sticking to a specific routine.
