About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals. My girls Piper, Ella and Shelby are my world. I love these dogs like they are children. They are spoiled I will admit. I also have taken care of my friends dogs for years while they have been out of town and my house as "Aunt Paige's Doggie Camp" All my dogs I have brought up from puppies. I have house trained them, crate trained them and trained them on the invisible fence for the yard. They always get lots of love and have lots of toys to play with, both inside and outside. I work from home, so I'm always here to take them out and take care of them. My dogs are always outside when it's not too hot or the weather is bad. I live on a quite street which ends in a cul-da-sak. So I will walk them at least 2 times a day The most important thing is they must get along with other dogs. I have a invisible fence in my yard and can certainly put your dog on it if they are trained on one. Otherwise I will go out with them and walk them. If they are well trained and can be lose a return on command they can play in the yard with my girls.

“Winnie loves her walks with Amanda! Amanda has been wonderful, great communication and always shares cute pictures. She’s been able to adjust schedule as needed. Highly recommend!”

“Dakota connects well with our dog Patrick and is able to re-direct him when he wants to just turn around and come home. Our pup can be just one small ball of over excitement and exuberance and they handle that well. Dakota has been very reliable and always lets me know if he needs to adjust the time a bit.”

About: I was raised in a family of animal lovers and helped to care for at least one family pup at all times. From my grandma's cat filled house to my own dogs, I have always been surrounded by a variety of furry friends so I'm very comfortable and experienced with caring for them. I began pet-sitting for neighbors as soon as I got into high school, and I'm very excited to meet some new furry friends! As a second year student at the University of Virginia, I've got a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care! My classes are mostly in the mornings, so I'm available for dog-sitting in the afternoons and evenings. Weekends are completely free for me, which means I can provide consistent and attentive care for your furry friends, ensuring they get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention while you're away! Since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow animals, I don't offer in-home pet care services. Instead, I provide dedicated pet care at your convenience! I will make sure your pet feels comfortable and happy during our time together. I also maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs, ensuring your furry friend receives the best care possible in a familiar environment. Your pet's well-being is my top priority!

About: I have been caring for animals on a professional basis for over fifteen years now, from working in a high volume animal sanctuary, fostering for CASPCA, and taking multiple CPDT Dog Training classes! I specialize in puppy socialization and creative enrichment. I do currently work a part-time job, but have flexibility for mid-day potty breaks. I am off early on Wednesdays and Fridays, and all weekend! I am able to spend most of my time off caring for your pets with minimal interruptions or coming and going. We are currently in the process of moving and updating business requirements accordingly, so in-home boarding is very limited. For in-home sitting, I aim to leave each home cleaner than I arrived. I utilize a secure lockbox for key management. I commute frequently with pet parents with a lot of pictures and videos!!

“Lindy was a life-saver caring for our elder dog. She walked Maggie in the rain, double checked on other coverage, and sent photos of each visit. She is a very responsible caregiver and I could tell that Maggie felt very comfortable with her. I had several people checking in on Maggie due to scheduling conflicts and Lindy was supposed to be a "fill in" for us. I totally messed up the schedule and Lindy graciously covered my gaps. She even left me a "schedule template" I can use next time so I don't make errors. Next time I need someone to care for Maggie, I'll hire Lindy for the entire week if she's available. Highly recommended!”

About: I have experience with all dogs and grew up working on a farm, caring for an array of livestock to include chickens, goats/sheep, alpacas/llamas, and two sheepdogs. I am willing to feed & care for any other farm animals or exotic pets if requested. I came from a big cat loving family, and would love to come love on yours. I currently work from home which affords me the ability to be pretty flexible with times of days and last minute bookings. If I’m a not available for some dates, please reach out to me to discuss. Due to our new pup (we rescued her Jan 2022) who we are still socializing - we unfortunately are not longer able to offer boarding or do doggy daycare in our home.

About: Animal care is my career, not my hobby or source of extra income. I have experience house-sitting and providing in-home care for pets as well as experience working in shelters, kennels, and boarding facilities. I am experienced with medication administration including injectable medications. I am comfortable working with reactive cats and dogs. Please contact me about a free meet and greet in your home -- I would love to meet your pet! Pet care comes first always! My own pup goes out 3x per day so I generally like to be able to leave a dog alone for up to 2 hours so I can go home and let my pup out but my fiancee can usually help out and we might be able to make something work if you need me to be with your dog all the time. It would require a higher fee because I wouldn't be able to accept other bookings during that time. At this point in time I do not offer to care for pets in my home. All drop-in visits will take place at the client's home.

“Nick has taken such good care of my dog, I appreciate the notes of how he's doing. Nick always let me know if he saw any change in behavior or wellness and is quick to respond to my questions.”

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Let me know what you're looking for and we can discuss schedule time and routing. I can do my best to fit my schedule into your fur baby schedule. I have two fence in yard to provide safety for those who doesn't get along with others. I also have two dogs of my own which probably won't be alot of fun. My beagle is usually sleeping in the house all day as for the husky she usually laying in the back yard squirrel hurting. I can create your fur baby at night or provide a dog bed. I do allowed fur babies to sleep in the bed only with fur parents permission. My fur babies are not snugglers so they choose to sleep on their dog beds.

About: My passion has always been caring for and loving animals. I will treat yours as if they were my own and understand that you are allowing someone you don't yet know, to care for your loved ones. I have always been a dog owner and my fur-babies are my kids. I have three now, a German Shepherd, a German Shepherd mix, and Doberman, all will be turning two next year. I have been enjoying fostering puppies through CASPCA these past several months, as well I volunteered for them as a teenager. Over the years I have very successfully cared for friends and family's pets while they were away on business or vacation. I promise to be the absolute best caregiver I can be for your fur-babies!

About: I’ve helped care for each family dog that’s come and gone since I was young, as well as the family cats. A few years ago chickens and goats got added into the mix too. I also tend to help with my sisters 4 large dogs. About a year and a half ago I started dog sitting for my neighbor and have been doing so every other weekend since then. I also pet sitted here on this app almost all of 2021 before becoming too busy with college. I have now graduated and am getting back into pet sitting for an undetermined amount of time. I’m currently still living at my parents, and working two part time jobs. I still have a decent amount of time left in my daily day to day and am looking to make more money so I thought starting up pet sitting again would work well. We have a large fence your dog can play in as well as walks on a leash outside the fence or in the trails of our woods. Lots of sights and smells for your pup to discover! I would not be comfortable letting our dog be around any pets I take care of. Diesel would either be crated or in the fence while your pets are here. We have goats which are fenced in as well as chickens. Our house is fairly large and the pets I take care of would be allowed to go anywhere except one room where we would keep our house cat in since sadly she is not a big fan of other pets. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

“Kyle and Meagan were just the best! They went above and beyond for our pets and we couldn’t be happier. Will definitely book again! Thank you!!!”

Emily S.
“Emily has done an amazing job taking care of our dog and cats. She has been extremely attentive to everything they need, and she has gone above and beyond in every respect. Outside of Rover, Emily has worked in vets, shelters, and kennels, and the experience shows! She is comfortable administering medication to our pets and dealing with any other tasks we need on top of standard walks, feeding, etc. Most importantly, our pets are completely at ease with Emily. She has a great disposition with them, and our dog and cats absolutely love her. I cannot recommend her services strongly enough, whether you need her for an occasional dog walk, pet sitting, or any other pet care. You will feel comfortable knowing your pets are in the hands of a truly professional caretaker.”

Nicholas H.

“Nick has taken such good care of my dog, I appreciate the notes of how he's doing. Nick always let me know if he saw any change in behavior or wellness and is quick to respond to my questions.”

Susan P.
“Susan is , quite simply, the most incredible pet sitter you will ever find. I hardly know how to begin to describe her pet sitting abilities. She has taken care of my dogs for years--sometimes even on short notice, When I first got her to dog sit, I had two very easy, laid back dogs- an old Lab and an old Plott Hound. After they were gone I got a Pitt Bull Mix ( also very easy) and a Malinois mix who is the most high maintenance, high energy dog I have ever had. Susan was a trooper from day one --throwing frisbee, going for walks, taking her for rides, and field trips to Lowes--and of course, loving her. Both dogs adore her---and she them. I never have to be concerned about anything when I leave them with her. She follows feeding and outing routines scrupulously. She goes beyond what any other dog sitter would do, including filling in holes that the PB mix dug in the back yard! She sends me pictures of the dogs playing and evening pictures of them in quiet repose. And did I mention, she's also good with cats! I can't say enough good things about Susan and her pet sitting. She will spoil you for ever having another sitter! Just like the Allstate Ins. ad, "They're in good hands with Susan"!”

Veronica C.
“Highly recommend Veronica’s services!”

Lydia J.
“Lydia is by far one of the most responsible individuals I’ve ever known. She puts as much loving and care into her own dogs as a mother should her own children. I 101% recommend her!”

Abby J.
“Abby is a huge animal lover! Very kind and gentle with all animals. She has always been willing to watch my rambunctious group of 4 large dogs anytime I’ve asked! She’s very reliable and communicative. There are very few people I trust to watch my fur babies but Abby is definitely one of them!!”
