About: Animal care is a huuuuge passion of mine. I have cared for hundreds of cats & dogs throughout the years. I am experienced, compassionate, and patient; your fur baby getting the utmost loving and safe care is always my priority. No animal is too big/small for me! I have specific experience in cat behavior, dog-walking/training, medication administration, and cleaning procedures. I promise to respect your space, requests, and accommodations. I am ready to be your pet’s favorite sitter !! ;) I currently have very open availability; all weekdays M-F and weekends for all times are doable at the moment! I have pets of my own so I cannot do stays at my location! I have 3 indoor kitties, they all have stainless steel litter boxes/scoops/water fountains and elevated food bowls. Boxes get scooped 2x/day and scheduled meal times are 2x/day as well. They are my world, their health is so important to me! Growing up I always had dogs that were indoor/outdoor and kennel-trained; I am prepared to enforce training upon request, give scheduled walks, and crate your dog if needed! Specific food/medicine accommodations are also no trouble for me.
About: I pet sit all over the Triangle! I grew up on a horse farm in Apex and have been taking care of dogs, cats, and farm animals since I was 10 years old. I have had many senior dogs and cats that I've had to medicate. I am comfortable with needles. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I am very comfortable with shy or standoffish animals. I wake up early so don't mind starting house chores early. I'm very active and like to go on walks but just as happy to lounge on the couch with your senior dog. I work full time as a social worker at a community center in Durham. I can either schedule to work remotely when house sitting or come back during my lunch hour if needed. I am a very aware person and put safety first. I have a calm but confident demeanor. I would treat your home as if it were my own.
“Kendal was very reliable and took care of my baby on such short notice! Great service and very professional. This is my first time using a sitter, and so I was nervous and anxious but Kendal made the experience easy, and took care of my pup very well! Will definitely book again with her!”

“GREAT sitter for our two kitties! We have already booked her for three more future sittings. We had such of peace of mind knowing she was feeding and spending time with our “girls”. Came home to clean litter boxes, a home in perfect condition, and two happy sassy cats lol. Most definitely recommend Yvette! Five stars is NOT enough.”

“heidi is a great dog sitter. we love having her in our home. she is exceptionally clean and goes above and beyond. she always sends many pictures and updates throughout the day which we love!!! she has always been available even under very short notice. we love heidi and will continue to always book her!”

“Kayla did a fantastic job! I’ve never hired a pet sitter before, so I was really nervous about how my animals would do. She was very reassuring and sent me pictures and updates every day. She did fantastically with the dogs, especially my really anxious one. I appreciated how attentive she was to my dogs’ health. She let me know quickly when one of them inevitably puked from stress and made sure they were both happy and tired before leaving for the day.”
“Blanca was amazing!!! She stayed overnight with my 2 dogs. One dog is senior and the other we’ve only had for 3 months from the shelter. She taught the new dog several commands while giving lots of lovin to my senior dog. I will definitely book again! Thanks Blanca!”

“Draven is absolutely awesome! Very responsive, showed affection towards my demanding doggies, sent pics throughout the sitting & asked question if unsure. She has experience with dog sitting, especially seniors! I highly recommend & will definitely use Draven in the future 😊”

“Daysi house sat with our three dogs while we vacationed for a long weekend. They are senior dogs, so I wanted someone to be there “just in case”. Daysi was committed and dependable. I appreciated the daily updates and photos that she sent. The dogs were completely comfortable with her and I hope to make her our go to sitter in the future.”

About: DISCLAIMER * As of 10/26/2024 * If i cannot meet you and your pets before the start of the booking, i will not accept the booking. This has become a safety issue for me. I will no longer be able to accept verbal verification that your pet will be fine with a stranger entering the home. (Exceptions are small puppies) I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. My neighbor growing up had 4 cats, that I loved dearly! She was the first person who allowed me to watch her fur babies when she went on vacation! I've pet sat many times since then. Dogs big and small of all breeds from a little pug to a 100lb+ Rottweiler. I own a 85lb pit bull mix and a 10lb weenier dog. 🐶 They are my babies.💗 I can drop in anytime to check on your fur babies. Spend extra time with them. I do bathing, and walks also! If you need your fur babies to be crated, no problem! I will make sure their safety comes first. You can put your mind at ease knowing your pets will be taken care of! This is my full time job, I enjoy every second of it! So day or night I can always do a drop in visit or a walk! Your pets safety comes first! So during a meet and greet I will be going over a small list of questions to make sure I can take care of your fur baby to the best of my ability. With this I create a “pet profile” so when you need to rebook with me I’ve already got a reference to look back at. EXAMPLE; if your dog is good with other animals, or if there is a certain amount of food that needs to be given. These are just notes I make for myself, and so you can rest assured your fur baby is getting the best care!
“Savannah is amazing! She house sat for my three dogs for 10 days and kept them engaged, medicated, and was so attentive. One of my dogs is a 2-year-old, high-energy Border Collie that needs lots of exercise, and Savannah played with her the entire stay. She also house-sat overnight and was on time, provided lots of pics and updates, and was highly reliable. I felt at ease knowing Savannah was watching the dogs.”

“Lily took exceptional care of our senior cat, Maddie. As first-time Rover users, we were a bit nervous, but Lily immediately put us at ease with her kindness and thoughtfulness. She made sure to connect with us before the scheduled house-sitting by FaceTiming, answering all of our questions, and even coming by for a meet-and-greet. Throughout the process, she was communicative, attentive, and, above all, clearly an animal lover. Maddie has special mobility needs and requires several medications, and Lily was diligent in ensuring everything was on track while we were away. When we returned home, we found a very happy, well-cared-for cat, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Lily will be our go-to person from now on whenever we need someone to look after our kitty. She’s simply the best. Thank you, Lily!”
