About: I have been caring for dogs since 2016. I have experience with high maintenance dogs that require special medications and help going potty outside. I have time to play, snuggle, and take dogs for hikes. I have experience potty training animals and have been successful potty training several seniors. I prefer small to medium sized dogs, but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. They must be okay with small dogs, as I have two Chihuahuas of my own. I allow my dogs on the bed, but if you prefer your dog not be on the bed, that can be arranged. I currently don't work and therefore can spend most of my time with the animals, aside from my regular chores, like cleaning house and shopping. My home doesn't have a fence so your dog will be on a leash when outside at all times, including when we hike. Length of hikes will be based on your dog's endurance level. I always carry plenty of water. I am very attentive to animal language and watch for behaviors like heavy breathing, excessive panting, lip licking, excessive yawning, or other obvious signs of distress such as limping or lethargy. I watch for these behaviors during all activities, even if we are simply relaxing. When we set up an appointment, I will want to know what to do during an emergency, beyond calling you. I will want their vaccine status, as I will only accept vaccinated dogs unless they are too young. I will also want to know how often they hike and for what distance. If they are crate trained, I will need their crate. We can work out the details, depending on your dog's needs. I am very flexible and I want to do what is right for you and your dog.

“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

“This was our first Rover experience and we couldn’t be happier. Kelly was outstanding to work with: communicative, flexible, cheerful, and dog competent. We will use her again, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you Kelly!!!”

About: In my apartment complex, I’ve become the resident dog walker/sitter. Im a huge animal lover, and have been the go-to care taker for friends and family when they vacation. I am available all evenings and most mornings for pet-sitting. I work short morning shifts in a restaurant and work shifts tend to last about 4-6 hours. Weekends can be up to 8 hours. My schedule is very flexible and I’m willing to work with different schedules. I will not be providing services in my home because of my own old tabby rescue cat. He has anxiety and doesn’t handle other animals well.

“Sawyer has been great with our dog, she walks him on a regular basis. She is always on time, great communication and willingness to work around our schedule. She respects our home space and ensures our dog is taken care of.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I’ve been alive, I’ve looked after family friends dogs throughout high school, but the crux of my experience comes from my dog back at home who has several special needs both emotional and medical. I have endless empathy for dogs who struggle being home alone and I can learn how to give out medication if needed. Also, I couldn’t figure out where to put this- but my preferred name is Felice :) Now that it’s summer I have loads of free time, and I’m willing to take longer jobs/go on more frequent walks! Once school starts back up in September my schedule will slim a bit I’m very mindful and respectful while house sitting, I’ll make sure everything gets done and the pets have everything they need. I’m also willing to do other things around the house that a house sitter typically does

Britne G.
“I'm a 75-year-old retired veterinarian. Britne was working at the local non-profit, and I called to ask if there were any social programs in our small town to help care for animals when people were in the hospital, as I was unfortunately. She told me there were none, but she offered to help sit my dog and also do some chores. My dog has a complicated med schedule and can be very unfriendly to strangers. Britne took amazing care of my best friend and constant companion, and I wish more young people had as much empathy, compassion, and responsibility as this wonderful young woman. Hire her!”
