“She is the one if you have a cat/cats! So this was my first Rover experience and I didn’t have anything to compare it to other than having a friend check on our cat while we were gone. I haven’t gone away longer than a couple days since having Hunter because I worry about him being stressed and confused. If you love a cat/cats, you know how it is. We want to take them with, but it is even more stressful and sometimes dangerous for some of them. As far as Victoria goes, she has set the bar really high and I only want her to pet sit for us for as long as she is on here. Our meet and greet went well and her energy was very pet friendly and warm. My cat can be a weirdo about changes and new people, but he did approach and smell her during that initial meeting. While we were away she took great care of him and sent photos which helped us to relax and enjoy our time. We really lucked out and I hope good people continue to sign up to do this service especially for us cat owners. Rover itself was easy to use and I think the fee (separate from the daily rate) is fair as of 10/2024 because the ease of finding someone, reading reviews, entering payment info, messaging, and photos. I would absolutely use this provider and Rover again.”

About: I started dog sitting in high school for neighbors and friends. I watched a range of puppies to senior dogs. I love running and being outside and it would be better with a furry companion! I am a current full time student but with a fairly flexible schedule. I will be residing in Virginia for the school year and North Carolina for the summers. I can make short visits throughout the day or later visits on the weekends! I will do my best to work with your pets schedule. I grew up with dogs and currently have 3 at home. They have a strict eating schedule and enjoy spontaneous walks. I enjoy playing with them when they have bursts of energy or just being around when they’re napping. Any kind of instructions given at a clients home will be followed accordingly.

About: I’ve had pets all my life and cared for my own dog for 12 years now. All it takes to help cate for a pet is know their routine and take great care of them. That’s not just give them food and water but also provide exercise and love, I can mostly help out pet owners after my Full-Time job in the afternoons. I work early shift like 5am-1pm or 6am-2pm 5 days a week. Especially on my days off I can pick a shift every now and then. Ive dog sat for my pet owner friends and they alway invite me back to take care of them. I make sure to follow the pet routine (feed it on time and making sure they have water when need be, and also providing the pet their medicine if need be) and I make sure the pet is get the outside time it need and deserve rather then being cooped up inside all day.

About: Over the years I've taken care of every pet known to man. From ball pythons to tiny gold finiches, but dogs have always had a special place in my heart. From the time I could walk my family has had a dog (we had five when I was 6) and I've cared for everyone of them. I've pet sat, dog walked, and even done some puppy training, though Im no expert, for friends and family. From feeding blind senior dogs with no teeth to cleaning up puppy poops I've done it. Walks, playtime, food time and bathroom times I can do it all. Just give me intructions and I'll be able to get it done. I'm currently working part-time at a small candy shop in my hometown so I'll have plenty of time for your pups. I can work with your schedual and your time constraints, week days, weekends or just a few hours. I can be as flexible as you need. If I'm dog sitting I'll need a list of what you'd like me to do for and with your dog be that taking him/her on a walk, potty breaks, food time, or just providing company and comfort. I'll need to know any medications, food requirements, allergies or medical issues that your dog may have. I have a very big and very friendly golden retriever named Troy and a very sassy tabby cat named Bas who both love new friends. Troy especially loves new playmates. It's whatever you need me to do to make sure that your fur baby is as safe and as comfortable as possible.

About: I have a wide range of abilities with animals. I grew up with Rottweilers and Husky’s. I’ve taken care of 5 dogs at a time. I work especially well with large breed dogs, through high school and college I consistently dog sat 2 Newfies. I have an owner (me) trainer psychiatric service animal, so I know a good amount with training. I have a work from home job which makes my schedule extremely flexible! I can be anywhere whenever I need to be. My days are pretty similar so I can easily add your pet into my daily or weekly routine. Before taking your pet into my home or before I come over, I like to know what your typical schedule is so that I can follow it to keep your furry baby on a consistent schedule.
