About: I foster puppies and adult dogs regularly (6 in just the past several months) for a local shelter. I have a real love for training and rehabilitating pups to be a blessing to their families. I keep pets on a routine and am familiar with enrichment activities. My home will be your dog's home away from home where they will be spoiled with love and trained on manners using only positive encouragement. I work a hybrid schedule where I am in office 2-3 days per week (mon-wed) and remote 2-3 days per week (some Mondays and every Thur Fri). There is another adult in the home who is often available for mid-day potty breaks and play breaks on those couple days I am gone. During the summer I have even greater availability. I have a large fenced in yard with two of my own fur babies who are so gentle and playful if your dog enjoys company. I can also give your dog it's very own space in the house with their crate door left open and access to their food/water in my kitchen/dining area. My home has multiple living spaces and my two dogs are crate trained as well.

About: I love dogs and have been caring for them since I was 12. With me, your pet will have the “Cool Aunt” as their sitter (with a couple dad jokes slid in as well). We’ll be the Paw-fect match! I’m currently working full time, so on top of meeting all of your pet’s needs, we’ll be taking advantage of long walks in good weather or doing fun activities such playing hide in seek or watching a relatable film for movie night (Beethoven is my favorite!) My services of care will depend on your instructions and boundaries for your fur baby along with your home. I take pride in doing what I do best whilst making sure every expectation you have of me is met.

About: I've worked with dogs, cats, and other animals since middle school. I've done short- and long-term sitting for dogs varying from a weekend with a mixed breed rescue to a month with a purebred Australian shepherd. I owned an elderly Maltese for three years, until he crossed the rainbow bridge. Currently I do have a limit of dogs of maximum 35 pounds. I am prepared and willing to work with training routines. I studied cats extensively in seventh grade in my attempt to persuade my parents into owning one. (It worked.) As either a cat owner or sitter, I've been working with cats ever since. I have a beautiful little black and white princess named Jane, with an affinity for burrowing in blankets and stealing pens, and a wild child named Lizzie who has never met a stranger. I offer dog and cat walks, animal feeding, water changes, litter box changes, playtime, and brushing. I'm open to pets outside the usual; anything except spiders. My availability is very flexible right now. Send me a message to get a request started! Currently I do gig work and have a very open and flexible schedule. Most Sundays I spend out of town, but feel free to message to discuss custom scheduling. Safety and care in a pet's home is reliant first and foremost on learning the family's routines and location of important items. Every family in every home has a system and routines in place; following those is the smoothest way to keep the animals happy and safe. In my home, I care for two young adult cats I own, as well as foster kittens. Right now, I have a group of four kittens to care for until they reach their goal weight for their spay/neuter surgeries. I do practice robust hygiene routines to ensure no potential illness is transmitted between the fosters and my cats.

About: Let me care for your loved ones while you are away, so you can rest at ease and enjoy your adventure with your family and friends. I love being on the move and having a variety of tasks. I love helping to build a strong community as well in this area. Pets are important family members, and I believe owners should know they are valued as such when they are away. I have been an educator for almost 20 years. I have taken teams on international mission trips. I have travelled to many countries and lived in many different places. I am a responsible adult ready to help you and your family by providing you pet sitting/walking services.

“Ruthie loves Stephanie more than she loves me I think. She is so good with her and Ruthie loves her walks. ❤️”

“Shari is so sweet! She was great with my two big dogs. Of course most people get scared when big dogs are barking at them, but she was comfortable to just let them do their barking and growling circling her until they realized she was friendly. Very gentle and genuine with my dogs. She left a note thanking me for letting her walk my furbabies and told me how they did. Generous touch. I'm definitely going to book with her again!!”

“Fantastic work”

“We were hesitant to leave Blue w “just anyone”, but after meeting with Jennifer and seeing how she interacted with her helped us get over the hump. Jennifer was totally awesome and my wife and I were able to enjoy our time away, knowing that Blue was in very capable hands. Will use her services again??, and again?”

About: As a person who used to live with older dogs, I became accustom to giving them medications or helping them with their treatments. I also love puppies (who doesn’t?) and am willing to spend time attempting to train them. Besides dogs, I am a proud indoor bunny mom. I find it highly important to understand a rabbit’s needs, behaviors and risks. I am home for the summer in Fort Wayne, Indiana and would love to check in on your pets to pass the time! My summer job allows me to pick up extra gigs like dog sitting. I have two large dogs. I feed, walk, and play with them daily. I also have two indoor bunnies. I interact with them as much as I can since they are very social creatures.

About: Extensive experience working with dogs. Able to administer medications. Will walk any size or age. I will always love them like they are my own. I just moved back to Fort Wayne, so I am available all day every day to hang out with your pups! Playing or just chilling. I recently moved back to Fort Wayne, so I am available all day everyday to hang out with your pups making sure they are loved.

About: Hi, I'm Rheagan! As a lifelong animal lover with two cats and a dog of my own, caring for pets is second nature to me. I've had the joy of living with and looking after a variety of animals over the years, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or prefers a calm and quiet environment, I adapt to meet their needs and make them feel comfortable and cared for. I believe in building trust through patience, kindness, and respect-just like I do with my own fur family. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and give them the love and attention they deserve while you're away! I currently have an open schedule and can take care of your pet anytime! I’m available for sittings and walks Monday - Sunday, 7am - 11pm. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment and follow routines that keep tails wagging and paws relaxed. With lots of love, attention, and respect for your pet’s needs, I treat every animal like my own.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, I know how important it is to treat our animals like family! I go for walks every day and would love to take your dog with me! I exercise every day and try to get outside for walks at least once a day, taking a dog in need of some fresh air with me would be a win win for both of us! I have a secure privacy fence around my back yard and I work from home so your pet will never be left here alone. I treat my animals like family, and there are 2 days a week when it’s only me and my cat because my dog stays with family.

About: I have always lived with dogs and cats, I adore pets and work with them daily as a groomer in training. I work well with all breeds I've met so far, large and small. I'm excited to see pets from 8am-5:30pm, and later on special request! I also now offer in home baths, and brushing services for friends with longer coats too! After conversation with the client regarding possible safety risks, I am confident in my ability to carefully watch pets, throughout the pets being in my care.

8. Natalie S.
“I’ve yet to meet someone who loves dogs as much as she does. She takes the time to train them (crate, sit, down, shake, heel/touch, and even to ring bells on the door when needing to go out) and she excels at it. I know she has been fostering dogs for quite awhile and always makes sure the dog is ready for its eventual owners. Even if it came from a bad situation, is weeks/months old, and even if deaf. I would highly recommend her for anything dog related!”

“Emily has stayed with our dog, Ollie, on multiple occasions. Ollie loves it with Emily comes which is saying a lot because our dog has severe anxiety! Emily has always taken impeccable care of both Ollie and our home when she has stayed here. She makes sure that he gets his medicine on schedule, and spends time playing with him and loving him. When we leave Ollie with Emily, we are at peace and have now worries! We know without a doubt that he is in good hands and will get all of the love and attention that he needs!!”
