About: I've been around dogs and cats, as well as chickens and horses, since I was very young. I'm familiar with large and small, young and old animals. I've house- and pet-sat for dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and horses (and even a ferret once) since I was a teenager and have enjoyed every experience. I have a job weekday work hours, but I am happy to take care of your animals during early mornings, evenings and weekends, whether that means just dropping by for feeding and playtime, or spending the night with them. Unfortunately, I do not currently live in a home that allows animals. However, I am happy to come to your animal's safe environment to take care of them.
“Emily is a great pet sitter! She stayed at our house with 4 dogs and 1 cat for 5 days. She has a good understanding of dog behavior and is at ease with them. We have a dog who is hesitant to go to anyone new (and sometimes anyone familiar), he had no problems going to Emily on her first visit here. We have another dog with a behavior issue, in talking with Emily about it we learned that she is knowledgeable about this issue and had no problems with the dog while she was at our house. While we were gone, Emily informed us about a problem at the house which I appreciated. The house was clean when we returned home and the pets were happy. About: I am deaf, so I am able to bond with pets more because they cannot communicate their needs with humans. I am likewise, so I hope to communicate with gestures as they may did. I am studying in a certificate program, so that shouldn’t be a problem. I will work during the workdays, and I can be available during weekends. I have two kittens and three koi fishes. They are fed once in the mornings or evenings. I cuddle them for some time but left them to wander wherever their curiosity attracted them. My cats like to sit on my chest or necks when they wished to, but I left them to their desires when they want to.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
