About: I grew up on a farm with working dogs and lived in the city where dogs must be on a leash, so walking them in all sorts of weather in various conditions is part of my daily routine. But now that my husband is retired, our dog gets his walks, but I don't always get mine! I would love to help you and walk and care for your dog when you need help. My energetic and resource-guarding dog has taught me a lot about dog behavior and how to use positive enforcement through training, playing and enrichment activities. I look forward to working with you and getting to know your special pup. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. Other than the occasional road trip to visit family, I have a pretty flexible schedule and am able to work just about anytime, including nights and weekends. I have cared for pets who are crated as well as non-crated; walked dogs on leash and with dogs who are trained on shock collars (in safe areas, obviously). I have trained puppies as well as tended to senior dogs' special needs. About: I am currently a veterinarian assistant in school to become a veterinary technician. The most amount of animals have set for at once is 7 (3 dogs, 4 cats) all needing special diet food, and certain medication’s. overall, I really love animals and hope to make peoples lives easier by being able to take care of them. Currently, I’m in school Monday through Thursday and I work Wednesday through Friday. I am able to watch animals and do things in the morning and in the evening and whenever I would have the free time to go back to the home and make sure they’re ok. I can do whatever you would like me to do, whether that’s free roam or crate. Ultimately, whatever works in your home works for me.

Since starting Rover, I have come in contact with all types of furry friends, all of them being great experiences. Whether your fur baby likes long walks, quick runs, or is a couch potato, I will fit to all of the needs and wants. When it comes to availability, I work very well on a schedule - as well as being able to have flexibility. I am off every weekend and Monday, with lots of random days off here and there. I can also make time before or after work. I can promise your fur babies will be treated with more than enough attention, love and respect. I am a part time worker in Portage, Wi. I work (typically) Tuesday - Friday but take quite a bit of work off, when given the opportunity, to spend time at home with my toddler. We are in the works of getting a fence around our yard and hope to have once come fall of 2025. My pets are my children. They are spoiled and loved deeply. We have a long yard leash that our puppy uses as well as constant supervision when outdoors.

I was looking for a part-time job that had to do with animals, my other passion besides doing hair, when I came across Wag and I knew it was perfect for me. I have been completing dog-walks as well as the occasional dog sitting through Wag for 6 years now. Prior to this, I had experience watching dogs for friends and family for long periods of time and owned a happy, energetic chihuahua before he passed. I currently am a proud fur mama of a German Shepard so I am great with small as well as large dogs. Now, I’m excited to share that same love, awareness, and care through dog walking, giving pets a little extra happiness while their owners are away. Pet care is like any other day. I have a dog of my own, so daily walks and time spent outdoors are just part of my routine. I don’t stress about it and take it day by day, making sure to give each dog the time and attention they need. Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer adventure, I make sure they’re getting fresh air and some love along the way. At home, I make sure my pets are comfortable and happy whether it’s giving my dog plenty of playtime, keeping their space clean, or just hanging out. For walks, I make sure they are leashed and in a safe area as well as get the right amount of exercise. My home has high fences all around with two doors in the back and front so it’s ideal for my dogs to hang around on warm days. I provide water bowls for them as well. When it comes to caring for other people’s pets, I treat them like my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable, whether they’re at my house or theirs. I adapt to each pet’s needs, making sure they get the attention and care they deserve and ensuring I communicate any important information about their pets!

About: Finishing up my Navy career as a Military Working Dog Handler. I did this for 5 years and loved training the dogs. I currently work from home which allows me more time for taking care of your pets! I have experience with all types of dogs along with emergency care training and basic medical needs. Any questions or special requests don’t hesitate to ask! I currently work from home so my schedule has become quite flexible. I am available most days and times. If you ever need to make changes I am almost always able to accommodate. If I leave I do crate our dog at home. We do have a fenced front and back yard. The back yard has a taller fence than the front yard. On nice days I like to sit outside with the dog(s) while they run around and enjoy some sun.
