“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

“We had a great experience and couldn’t be more pleased. David took the time to set up a meet and greet beforehand, which immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our dog in his care. During the week, he kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which we really appreciated - it gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was doing well. It’s clear he genuinely cares, and we would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommend!”

“My pups came home happy and slept SO well. Like kids coming home after a sleepover. Courtney has great communication and clearly enjoys having pets at her home. Overall, a great experience.”

“Paige S. was an excellent babysitter for my Babycat. My Babycat is all that I have in this world and I would trust Paige S. with my Babycat anytime. After communicating and speaking to Paige on the phone, I realized that Paige was a true animal lover like myself. It was then I booked with her to board my Babycat while I had to go to the hospital for 2 nights. During my stay at the hospital, Paige answered text and even sent pictures of my Babycat to reassure me. She also helped load and unload Babycat in her carrier, as I am dealing with a handicap. This is how Paige takes excellent care of animals and their humans ! Thank you to Rover for having respectable, professional and loving caregivers like Paige S.! Thank you very much to Paige S. for all your care and extra help with my Babycat! Raul "Dan" Ornelas”

“Ellen took terrific care of our old girl! She went above and beyond helping her get through a few health/diet issues that came up during the stay. Very responsive and helpful updates throughout the stay. Would recommend Ellen to anyone looking to board!”
“Korie took wonderful care of Dizzy! Her communication and updates were clear and she was flexible with pickup and drop off times. Would absolutely love for Dizzy to stay with Korie and Ozzy again.”

“Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

“Val provided excellent care for my lab 9 month old puppy. He communicated well and kept me updated with pictures. Penny seemed very happy and comfortable with Val. I definitely would recommend Val for your dog boarding needs. He is great!”

“Meghan and her loving family were so sweet, gentle, and loving to our dog Nolo. He is a sweet dog but also quite human-like in his peculiarities. They welcomed him in and he immediately knew he was staying with them. He looked back with hesitation as I left him in the arms of 6 petting hands. He watched TV with the family and laid under the dinging table and on the couch!! He naturally received a beauty treatment and hair brushing with ease. I could see he felt right at home. Meghan’s family was fantastic and they were all natural caretakers. Nolo will happily go back in the future. Thanks Meghan!”

“We were swayed to contact Erika for our dog caregiver by her glowing reviews on Rover. Throughout our communications with Erika through Rover prior to our vacation, and upon meeting her when we dropped our dogs off with her, she was warm, kind, and a very professional young lady. We were impressed by her and the wonderful habitat that our pups would call home for the next two weeks. Our dogs need exercise, and she excelled in that. One of our dogs even lost weight. We will return to Erika for future needs, and rest easy that our dogs are in the best hands!”

“Paula is amazing!! She accommodated my 1-year-old terrier Teo for about 10 days. When I pick Teo up I can instantly tell he’s been happily taken great care of and has enjoyed Paula’s accompany. I couldn’t appreciate Paula more.”

“Ruby was great! She sent countless updates throughout the stay and messaged if there were any questions. She was readily available. It was so nice to see the girls playing with all of the other pups. And when they got home after a weekend at Ruby's, they were EXHAUSTED from all of the fun they had. I will definitely call Ruby for any future trips we have.”
“Alissa was great! Our first Rover we picked was no show and Alissa without notice or early booking took care of Hank, we really appreciate the last minute booking. Communication with Alissa was on spot, she texted and sent pictures!”

“Kayla was fantastic with communication during Hudson and Nadia's visit. It was our first time leaving home together since moving to WA state, and had trouble finding a trusted sitter. We will be using Kayla and Jason again in the future for our sitting needs. :)”

“I am extremely pleased with how well Riley's first time there went! I received prompt updates, photos, and feel she took great care of Riley during my absence. Will definitely book again!”

“I was very nervous to leave my dog Bailey. 1. I had never left her and 2.She had a small issue with her paw just before my vacation. When informing him about the issues and the shedding problem , there were no hesitations on what needs to be done to keep up with the grooming. You should have no worries when you hire this person. The communication, the pictures, the condition of my dogand the level of care were outstanding. I was very lucky to find somebody on short notice and appreciate the sensitivity and kindness. Thank you, Shawn, for all your help and for making Bailey such a happy girl for the days I was gone.”

Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
