“10 stars!!!!! We are over the top happy with the care and communication that we received from Rovers employee Rebecca B. (Becky). This caring sweet woman took care of our big cat Syd for 3 weeks while we were on holiday. He demands attention and is an 'in your face' give me attention kind of cat. More like a dog I think. We were sent photos from each visit Becky made, Thats a Rover thing, which is awesome, and she gave us fun messages of how things were going and what Syd was doing. our weather report and how the view was. Those gave us such a comfort to know Syd was home, happy, safe, being brushed and cared for. ' I was scared to try Rover - but just didn't want Syd in a cage for 3 weeks. We just moved here so didnt know anyone who could help us out and cleaning someone elses cat box for 3 weeks isn't really a free neighbor job lol. Taking a chance with Rover, was the greatest discovery, and it was because of Becky. We picked the best one! Rebecca was hired every other day to stop by twice a day, AM and PM and once daily on the off days. We had her set up an auto feeder for the off days with just one visit. Since he eats 2 times daily and a nighttime snack! His schedule never changed! Best thing for a happy pet. Syd was soooo happy and purring every time she came to visit! I could tell by his outstretched paws making muffins and comfortable layed back upside-down photos! Rub me pet me feed me he was saying. hang with me! He was very relaxed and silly. Becky brushed our boy a ton- he is long haired. If she had a question, she immediately asked and when she found out our plane was delayed, she ran over to feed for us. Becky kept the water bowls full with fresh water and his litter area cleaned, and the garbage was taken outside to the can. 3 weeks was a long time to be gone! She is on Camano, as we are, and is a definite animal lover like we are. Shes smart and thorough and follows direction diligently. My plants were watered also! I put them all on the table so she could water weekly. She checked the mailbox of us as we had some pkgs we were missing and let us know they didnt arrive. She traded out lights so it looked like someone was home and she introduced herself to my neighbor when they met which shows she takes her job very professionally and is insightful to all that is around her. Becky was a huge huge blessing to us and if you have never tried Rover and you live on camano or in Beckys area of work, She is your cat or dogs true friend and sitter!!! You wont be disappointed! We had just moved here and we lucked out big time finding her! Syd looked like he had been to a cat show, :) the counters were so clean it was like we never left! I'm sure if Syd had been in a small area at a cattery he would be at the vet now having his stress checked out, which would usually happen and some antibiotics and a big bill! Thank you Thank you Thank you Becky B!!!!! You allowed us have a wonderful vacation!! You are our pet sitter for life! From, Sheila, Brad and Syd Zahnow Camano Island WA”

About: With a background in veterinary support, I’m eager to take care of your pets like they’re my own. I’ve worked with pets from boarding settings to animal shelters. If you’re looking for a pet sitter or dog walker you can trust with your furry friend, you’re in the right place! I’ll soon be in online school and then will be in a part time school schedule allowing me to fit bookings around these different priorities. By being mindful of your pets cues, signals, and behavior, I will assure that your pets needs are always met, comfortably and safely for everyone.

About: I’ve had dogs in my house growing up almost as long as I can remember, both big and small dogs. I always use a positive tone when speaking to pets because they might not understand the language but they can understand the tone and attitude you use. I’m currently unemployed, but in the Army national guard which shouldn’t affect my availability (here’s hoping). Other than that I’m available every weekday and can stay overnight at a clients house. I always love to go on walks with my dogs. I don’t have an issue with cleaning up after pets. If I stay overnight at a clients house I won’t raid your food I can bring my own meals if need be.

“Scott takes such good care of my cat when I’m away, and he always provides consistent, detailed updates. It’s so nice to know that I don’t have to worry about her when I’m not there. Thank you, Scott!”

About: My name is Amanda and I have been petsitting in my home since 2012. I have experience with all types of dogs and am comfortable petsitting any dogs from bullies to Chihuahuas, huskies to hunting dogs. Military deployment long term dogs welcome and discounted. We own a farm style property on acreage and have a very large 6 foot high fenced yard. Dogs love sniffing and running in the yard, looking at our neighbors horses, and watching all the wild birds that visit outside of the fence. I can care for your pet how they are cared for at home to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Please let me know your dogs needs, likes, and dislikes. Small and large dogs are kept separate and have their own yard. Rarely do I have more than one clients dog at a time, but if you do want your dog to be separate please let me know at booking.

About: 🐾✨ Welcome to Your Pet’s Second Home! ✨🐾 Hi there! I’m Bri — a stay-at-home mom, Navy spouse, and homeschooling parent. I’m home consistently throughout the day and have created a peaceful rhythm in our home that naturally extends to the animals I care for. I’ve set up a calm, dedicated space just for cats upstairs — no dogs, no stress, just a quiet retreat where your feline friend can relax, recharge, and feel safe. 🐈🌿 I’ve been caring for pets since I was 14, and it’s something that’s always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of animals, including pets belonging to military members during deployments, and have continued to provide consistent, compassionate care while raising my own dogs. As a full-time stay-at-home mom, I have the time and flexibility to offer personalized attention and a calm, dedicated space just for the animals in my care. Although I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and tending to my own beloved pets, I’m just getting back into pet sitting and newly active on Rover. I’m dedicating this season to offering intentional, loving care — and I’m also working toward expanding my knowledge of animal behavior and earning certifications where I can. 💕 My goal is simple: to offer peace of mind, reliable care, and a second home your pets feel safe returning to — all while supporting my community and doing something I genuinely love.🐈⬛❤️ Your cat’s comfort and routine truly matter to me. While I do step out now and then for errands or local outings, your pet will have a reliable, nurturing presence throughout their stay. I provide regular litter box cleaning, fresh water refills, daily check-ins, and enrichment time like play, brushing, or cozy companionship — whatever helps them feel safe and settled. 🐾🐈⬛🪟 ‼️ Note on Our Home There is a child under 12 in the house, and while he’s incredibly respectful of boundaries and animals, I completely understand if your pet prefers a low-stimulation environment or is not child-friendly. Just let me know — I’m happy to accommodate special needs or set up extra separation if needed. 🐶 A Quick Dog Disclaimer We do have two friendly dogs of our own, but they are never allowed in the cat care space and always remain fully separated to ensure peace of mind and a calm environment for your pet. 🐾 📅 Flexible & Understanding As a Navy family, I understand how fast plans can change. I’m happy to accommodate last-minute bookings if your plans fell through, extended stays, or deployment-related pet care. I genuinely want to help however I can and make things a little easier for you. 🐾📆 🐾 Doggy Daycare 🐾 I offer doggy daycare for all sizes with a focus on calm, low-stimulation care in a home-based setting. Daycare spots are limited so that every dog gets personalized attention, rest time, enrichment, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. Whether your pup needs a quiet place to nap or a companion for light play and check-ins, I’m here to help. 🚶♀️🐕 Dog Walking & Drop-Ins In addition to cat boarding, I offer drop-in visits and dog walking. Whether you’re working late or heading out of town, I can stop by to provide food, water, potty breaks, litter refreshes, and some comforting attention while you’re away. 🐾 Dog Boarding While I am primarily cat-focused, I do consider small-large dogs for boarding. I’ve found this size is easiest to accommodate alongside my own pups, and it allows me to maintain a peaceful space. ‼️Note: Since I only host a few dogs at a time, feel free to message me about availability. 📝 Health & Wellness Note Please let me know in advance if your pet has any medical conditions, sensitivities, or behavioral needs. I ask that all pets arrive healthy, flea-free, and in good condition for everyone’s safety and comfort. 💖🐾 🚫 A Quick Note on Intact Dogs To keep things safe and stress-free for everyone, I do ask that owners let me know if their dog is intact (not spayed or neutered). I don’t accept females in heat, and I may separate intact males depending on their energy and behavior. My own dogs are often kept in their own space, so I can usually accommodate with care—but clear communication upfront is key! 😊 While I may not have a long list of Rover reviews just yet, I bring years of hands-on experience and confidence in my ability to care for animals with consistency, patience, and intuition. I’m always happy to schedule a meet-and-greet so you can feel completely comfortable and at ease before booking. 🐾🐈✨ 🏡 How I Care for Pets in My Home & Yours 💬 Communication is everything! Whether you’re booking a drop-in visit or overnight stay, I always appreciate clear instructions—feel free to leave a written note, send a message through Rover, or both. The more I know about your pet’s routine, quirks, and preferences, the better I can show up for them. 💌🐾 🏡 In my home, I offer a peaceful, private space for cats with daily litter box cleaning, fresh water, quiet time, and enrichment like gentle play, brushing, or window-watching. I maintain a clean, calm environment that adapts to each pet’s needs—especially helpful for senior cats, shy personalities, or kitties on medication. 🚗 For drop-in visits, I stick to your pet’s routine as closely as possible. I handle feeding, water changes, litter or potty needs, and any medications or specific tasks. 📸 I always check in with photos and a little note about how your pet is doing to help you feel connected while you’re away. 🐶 Dog walks can be added to your drop-in visit for a small additional charge—just let me know what works best for your pup’s energy and needs. 🤝 Meet-and-greets are always welcome and encouraged for boarding, house sitting, or pets with specific care instructions. It gives us a chance to connect and helps your pet feel more comfortable. ⚠️ If your dog is reactive, needs space from strangers, or requires extra time and attention, please let me know upfront. I’m flexible and understanding—and happy to see if we’re a good fit with the right setup and support. Just let me know what matters most—I’m here to support both you and your fur baby with care that feels personal and reliable💚🐾

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but have plenty of pet care experience. I have been an animal lover my whole life and have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! When I was 16 I got a job working as a kennel tech at a vet clinic and discovered working with pets is my true passion. I went on to work as a kennel tech at a much larger facility where I stayed for multiple years, then most recently was employed as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with cats, birds, reptiles and some small mammals as well, but have mostly worked with dogs. I often pet sit for family and friends and I have 4 of my own fur babies as well, so I understand how deep the love for a pet is and promise to take the best care of your babies. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I can’t think of a better way to spend my spare time (: When given the privilege of caring for your pets in your home I will be sure to always provide safe care and respect your privacy. I will follow all guidelines and requests to make sure your pet gets the best care, I want your pet to be as safe and comfortable as possible.

Morgan K.

“Morgan took great care of my cat, who is hesitant around newcomers but Morgan was very understanding and kind. Would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!”

Amanda F.
“Something I really appreciate about Amanda is that not only does she love animals, she’s incredibly knowledgeable about them and takes the responsibility of caring for them very seriously. I’ve had other sitters who either didn’t listen or didn’t take my directions seriously, and my dogs have been injured or their health has suffered because of it. That has never remotely been an issue with Amanda, not once, not even close. She truly understands the gravity of handing your fur baby over to her and treats them with nothing but the utmost care. I trust her implicitly with my companion animals and am able to rest easy when I’m out of town, knowing that they are in the best of hands.”
