“About 1-1/2 months ago, we brought in a stray cat who was very scared of everything. Unfortunately, we had previously planned a 10 day trip and so were concerned as to what to do about our new cat, Percy. We searched online and discovered Rover. Bridgette, who does pet sitting through Rover, agreed to be at our home over the 10 day period when we would be gone. We are grateful that Bridgette was able to stay 24 hours a day as Percy was just too new to be left alone for long periods of time. We were delighted with the work she did for us. She was very responsible and we felt comfortable leaving her in charge of our home and Percy. Bridgette is very sweet and soft-spoken which was perfect for our anxious cat. He was very wary of her and hid away for much of the time, but Bridgette continued to care for his needs, plus her presence in our home must have given him a sense of companionship. Percy was starting to warm up to her and we are confident Bridgette will win him over as we definitely plan to use her in the future. We highly recommend Bridgette and Rover.”

In a client's home, I carefully follow the pet's normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime so they experience as little disruption as possible. I respect my clients' homes and keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

About: I have taken care of my dog for several months, kept up with his training and spend time playing. Puppies need extra attention to grow into healthy adults. Adults need just as much affection and some play time. I work full-time weekdays but I am available in the evenings. Saturdays are free for me to play with dogs and take care of them. I can manage keeping up with a dogs training and take care of their needs at the same time! Who needs their dogs loved on or watched over?

About: Hi, I'm Trisha! I have been married for a little over 5 years to my husband Shawn. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) Drop off and pick up are as followed: Drop Offs: before 6:30am are an additional $10.00 Pick ups: after 8pm will be an additional $1.00 per minute unless prior arrangements have been made with Shawn or myself. About: Hello! I am new to Rover but have plenty of pet care experience. I have been an animal lover my whole life and have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! When I was 16 I got a job working as a kennel tech at a vet clinic and discovered working with pets is my true passion. I went on to work as a kennel tech at a much larger facility where I stayed for multiple years, then most recently was employed as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with cats, birds, reptiles and some small mammals as well, but have mostly worked with dogs. I often pet sit for family and friends and I have 4 of my own fur babies as well, so I understand how deep the love for a pet is and promise to take the best care of your babies. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! About: I have worked at veterinarians, pet stores, and animal shelters, with pets of all kinds. I love walkng, cuddling and hanging out with all dogs. I’m a stay at home mom on a farm. I love spending time with my animals and also have a Sniffspot so other dogs can enjoy our space. When your dog first gets here they can smell around all the new smells and then decide if they want to interact with the other animals or not. I supervise any interactions to keep everyone safe. All dogs are welcome to be inside or outside. We have 5 fully fenced acres.
