“Reshan came highly recommended by a friend and he went above and beyond in exceeding my expectations as a dog sitter for our standard poodle Louie. His facility is a tranquil doggy spa so right away our boy felt right at home. ReShan is super responsive, highly communicative by providing both picture and video updates on our boy, but most importantly I didn’t have to worry one bit about Lou because you can just tell how much ReShan cares for animals. I have used rover/pet sitters in the best and he is the best we have ever had! We will be back again! Thank you for taking such great care of our family member.”

“Kara and her family are such wonderful people. While we were on our Alaskan cruise we received at least 2 communications a day and at least one of them was in the form of a video of our English Bulldog playing with the other dogs or chasing water while Kara was watering her plants. I felt very comfortable leaving Duchess with her. I had tried 2 other sitters prior to trying Kara’s services. They either instantly didn’t work out or left me a little on edge. My husband was the one who first met Kara at the park and then her first trial day as I had just had major surgery. I trusted Michael’s judgement and went ahead and booked her. I finally got to meet her the day we we’re leaving and felt immediately at ease. Thank you Kara for taking such good care of our Duchess-butt”

“We left our pug, Eady, with Audra and her family for nearly two weeks. Audra was kind, responsive, and kept us updated with pictures every couple of days, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Edith must have had a blast because she came home absolutely pooped! It’s obvious she got plenty of playtime. Communication was always quick and friendly, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. We’re so grateful for the care and attention Audra and her family gave Eady and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

“Juliet is very sweet and loving with the dogs - she doesn't get flustered or upset when they exhibit typical doggie behaviors (such as occasional accidents or being homesick for their owners,) and we could tell when we got our dogs back that they were very, very loved. She also sent us photos and a video to help us stay connected while we were out of town. The only thing that could have been a problem at all, was that Juliet's Rover profile does need to be updated: it is no longer a "non-smoking household," or "no children present" situation. We could smell the smoke and see the cigarette butts when we did a meet and greet prior to our boarding, and were made aware that a child was now also living in the home. Neither of these things were deal-breakers for us, but they could be for others who are very sensitive to smoke, or whose dogs aren't ok with children. My dogs did not come home smelling of smoke, nor did their bedding, so all is good! We really love Juliet, and I think our dogs really do too. :) Thank you for taking such great care of them!!! I recommend her to anyone, and would definitely not hesitate to use her services again in the future!”

“Karry was awesome! Lola was so happy and had a great time. Karry took really good care of her. You can tell she loves dogs! Lola had fun playing with Karry’s dog. We highly recommend using her - especially if you want your dog to be able to socialize while you are away. Karry send us updates and pictures of Lola every day! Thanks Karry!”

“Thank you, Farin, for taking such good care of Kenobi. He had so much fun with you and your pack. Thank you for sending frequent updates and for letting us know was happy being with you! Will definitely rebook again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Casey was awesome! She sent updates and pictures almost daily and it was peace of mind knowing that our dog was getting so much attention while we were gone. She was amazing! Thank you!”

“This is our second time leaving Samantha with Krystle and she is great. She is always very welcoming and we always feel safe leaving our dog with her. Samantha is excited when we get there and Krystle caters to her needs. We highly recommend her and will be using her services again when we go on our next vacation.”

“Frank and Nancy were amazing. They shared detailed updates and took my dog for multiple walks each day. They were very responsive and professional. Will definitely be booking again!”

“As a newly adopted rescue, this was Cooper's first time away from home. Jennifer and her family welcomed Cooper with open arms. Jennifer was fantastic! She took great care of our Cooper, as if Cooper was another member of the family. I highly recommend her!!!”

“Thanh-Mai is an outstanding sitter and took exceptional care of my dog, Maya! I will absolutely hook Thanh-Mai the next time I go out of town! Not only did Thanh-Mai show Maya as much love and attention as Maya was her own dog - taking her for walks and giving her plenty of cuddles - but Thanh-Mai was extremely communicative and professional and kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages through Maya’s stay. It put me at ease knowing Maya was in such a comfortable and loving environment while I was gone. I highly recommend Thanh-Mai to anyone looking for a sitter for their dog!”

“Rex had such a fun time with MJ during his first stay, I booked him again for a weekend stay while I headed out of town. MJ was great like last time, very professional and trustworthy. His yard gives Rex (and other dogs) a great opportunity to run around and stretch his legs or just lay in the shade of the large trees. MJ has been very reliable and I highly recommend for dog (large or small). Thanks MJ!”

“Leaving a pet while you go out of town is a difficult thing. Leaving them with a stranger is even more difficult. Shellie made the process and the experience for this first timer spectacular! I was a little worried my dog didn’t want to come home! Shellie sent me updates and fun photos and even a video! What a relief to be able to focus on my work instead of constantly worrying about our dog. This was such a great experience and we will definitely use her again.”

About: Welcome to my loving, lively, dog-centered home! Visiting one of our area’s National Parks from LA or the Bay? Drop your dog with me and we’ll adventure so you can adventure stress-free! I’m a university professor who has worked with animals of all kinds my whole - from the family farm to spending my winters fostering dogs for a rescue organization in Baja, Mexico. I adopted my two pups from them, and have fostered everyone from 4 week old puppies to bumbling big boys. One the greatest joys in my life is finding them forever homes - that perfect match that changes the dog and their new owners’ lives. I foster so many pups that my home feels empty without spares! Your pup will be part of an adventurous household with a fenced yard and two free spirited rescue dogs. We love our energetic furry friends, but Izzy also loves to cuddle up with belly-rub loving fellow couch potatoes. My little one Winnie was known as the “nanny dog” at the rescue, because she can take care of any puppy and has never met a dog she can’t get along with! Me and my two dogs love sniffy walks, hikes in the mountains and playtime on the beach when we can make it out on the weekends in our camper van (which I built for the dogs of course). I teach at the university, so besides classes and meetings my schedule is flexible. This semester I will be on campus Tuesday and Thursday for 4-6 hours max. And the rest of the time is flexible, work-from-home time. I have a luscious back lawn with a tall fence. We can do multiple leashed walks a day, and even off leash excursions if your dog wants! I have toys, separate rooms if they need space and can easily crate if necessary. I have been told I send way too many pictures so you’ll always know about all the fun we’re having. I would love to accommodate longer stays too. I do travel some weekends. If a longer period you’re looking for is not available on my schedule, please inquire anyways as I might be able to make it work!
