About: I have had a dog for over 20 years. I'm down for a good tug of war or just sit on the couch. I know having a stranger in the house can be scary and trust must be earned. Every dog is different. I'm retired so my schedule is very open. I like to get outside and walk so this is a perfect fit. Sadly I just lost my dog so I'm ready to share my love with someone else's buddy. I have a fenced in yard. But I'm not planning on taking care of animals in my home. So not sure why I have to fill this out

“Rachael is the best. She is so wonderful with Winnie and it makes it a lot easier to leave knowing our dog is being taken care of. We highly recommend her!”

About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!

“Emily did an amazing job watching my two cats! She gave thorough and fun updates and I knew my kitties were safe and having fun. My cats as specific diets and she was great with them and was communicative throughout”

About: I’m a passionate animal lover with a lifelong connection to pets. I have two pups, two kitties, a leopard gecko, and two goldfish of my own. Growing up, my home was always filled with animals, and I’ve cared for a variety of pets throughout my life. In addition to taking care of my own, I’ve looked after family and friends’ pets and even worked at a boarding facility, walking, feeding, giving medication, and playing with dogs and cats. I’ve been around dogs of all breeds and ages. Spending time with animals is truly my passion. I have most of Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays free, as well as early mornings the rest of the week. I’d love to stop by for drop-ins to play with and care for your pets, offer some companionship, or go for a walk. I treat every pet with the same kindness and care as if they were my own. I know how important it is to provide the best care possible, especially when pet parents are away. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, or some quality playtime, I strive to make the experience fun and comforting for your beloved pets.

About: Ive grown up with pets my whole life, and when I got old enough, I would frequently care for family members pets, as well as families around the neighborhood. I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, cats, and other pets! I'm available for drop ins/walks in the morning, later afternoon and evening. During the weekend, I'm generally available anytime. My schedule can be flexible, so I'm willing to try to work with your schedule. I make sure to follow the owners instructions on how to care for their pet, and adjust accordingly to the needs of the pet. The safety and well being of pets is first and foremost

“Kelli was super sweet with our golden retriever! She had great communication and you can tell she genuinely cares about animals. I will book her if we ever need drop ins again without hesitation! Thanks Kelli!”

About: I have owned pets ever since i can remember! My family is a huge animal family, I have owned dogs, cats, chickens, and even a bearded dragon! I currently have 2 dogs and I would love to help others with their pets. I just graduated high school and i’m getting ready to move into college and looking for a fun summer job. I am very available all summer! I have two very friendly dogs who love to play! I have a pool for the dogs to play in and I live super close to a good park for walks!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I've had two in my family, one of whom I've cared for since I was 14—she's now 11! In addition to looking after my own pets, I’ve helped care for a family friend’s dog and had experience with dogs while babysitting children. I also volunteered with the Red Cross while deployed to walk dogs and handle them at events. Through all of this, I’ve learned how to provide patient, responsible, and loving care. More than that, dogs have helped my own mental health—they bring joy, companionship, and comfort, and I understand just how much they mean to their families. Whether your pup needs a quick check-in, regular walks, or just extra attention, I’d love to help! I work full-time in Kalamazoo, so my commute begins at 8am and I dont get home until around 5:30pm. I would be available for an early morning drop-in or an evening drop-in/walk. I am usually available all day on the weekends. I don't currently have a dog of my own in my household, as the dogs I have had were all family dogs and are at my parents house now, but I plan to get a puppy next year with my husband. I will be bringing her to work with me as much as possible while also crate training her for when I can't. I always believe in having some area of a fenced in yard to protect the dog from not only running off, but from other animals getting in as well. I don't like to leave stuff on the floors or in easy to reach areas in the house that a dog could get to. Cleaning supplies are in a stored away place and I make food while the dog is somewhere else. I try not to let them in the kitchen. I think the dog should get a lot of exercise and time outside as well as attention from their human so I enjoy a good walk with a leash and play time.

Lauren L.
“Lauren is a lover of all animal types. She has had dogs and cats in the house her entire life. Currently one red doberman and two male cats, along with some aquatic shrimp. The greatest experience she has had recently is her 6 years at a christian based, therapeutic horse ranch. Working with horses and the entire process of caring for them, from mucking stalls, dragging pastures, daily feeds, grooming, medicating and caring for ailments. Assisting vets, dentists and farriers. She can ride and manage them quite well also. She has also done a lot of dog sitting in the past few years, whether it is staying in your home or a coming and going for a few checkins to feed and let them outside for runs/walks. Lauren has a heart of gold and shows it in caring for animals.”

Saylor T.
“I enjoyed having Saylor as my pet sitter as she took excellent care of my home and my pets and made sure they were well taken care of, I have her back frequently to continue to watch my pets!”
