About: "I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 15. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed them and play with them. I am a physical education teacher that has the summers off and is looking to take care of your pet while you are ate work or on vacation. I enjoy getting your pet the exercise it needs and help them be comfortable around other people. I am a dog sitter/dog walker that puts safety as a priority when taking care of your pet. I always move a cross the street if I see another dog coming towards me if your pet is not good with other dogs. I always watch for cars when I am cross the street to keep your help safe.

It takes a little while for Lizzy to warm up to someone new, and it seems that she did warm up to Leah. Really appreciate the pictures that Leah sent of Lizzy while I was gone. About: Most of my friends call me an animal whisperer. I love pets and always have. Born and raised on a farm, animals are not new to me. Although it doesn't specify caged animals, like guinea pigs, I am happy to pet sit, board, or help with daily care of your caged pets. I do not currently have a fenced yard, but I live on open acres set apart from any close neighbors. Leashes can be used outside of the home to provide ultimate safety and security for your pet. About: While I’m relatively new to Rover, I have been a pet owner for cumulatively over 5 years of both dogs and cats. I currently have a 1.5 year old dachshund girl named Sage, a 14 year old senior dachshund named Buddy, and a 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer named Fin. As a dog owner, I understand what it’s like to put your trust in someone else’s hands to take care of your fur baby. It’s a big deal, and I’d like to step in to ease those feelings and let you know your pet is in the hands of a genuine, gentle, patient, and kind pet sitter. I work remotely full time with a flex schedule, so I have a ton of flexibility throughout the day. I am fortunate to work for a non-profit that believes in a healthy work-life balance. I care for pets first and foremost with love and respect while maintaining a safe, clean, and fun environment for them. Every pet owner is different and I am happy to configure my care to the owner’s preferences.

About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my work schedule in the 6 am timeframe. I do work part time and in those morning shifts end roughly at 12-3 however my partner is typically home before me to let the pups outside. While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: Hi! I’m a big animal lover who enjoys spending time with dogs, cats, and any other pets! I’m happy to match your pet’s energy and routine. My family has always had pets growing up, and I’m always the one seeking out the pets at any gathering. I love earning their trust, making them feel comfortable, and making a new furry friend. While I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I absolutely adore all of my family’s pets whenever I get to see them or care for them! I work as a barista during the days, typically a 6 hour shift sometime in the morning or during the day. Whenever I am not on shift I will be able to care for your pets! About: Hi there! My name is Michelle and Ive been a pet owner since I was a child. My family always had dogs, cats, pocket pets, and the occasional tarantula. Im the niece of a large animal veterinarian whose clinic I volunteered at after school and summers. Currently my husband and I are owned by a Labrador Retriever and an English Setter. We are active with a national English Setter rescue, which is where our beautiful boy came from, and run volunteer transports of dogs on their way to foster or forever homes. Im semi-retired! My routine is whatever it needs to be from day to day. Im a firm believer in being flexible to meet the situation's needs. Your pets would never be alone. We also have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company and walks, along with outdoor play would help with mental stimulation.

About: I've had many dogs of my own so I'm quite personal & I'm always excited to make new animal friends. Having many animals of my own I think sets me aside from others, I love to play and run around with dogs. I also can and will care for other pets or animals if it is necessary, which I also think sets me apart. About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I had the honor of being a proud pet owner for nearly 20 years. I had the opportunity to care for my dog, Marley, for 13 beautiful years, and my cat, Tigger, for almost 20! Growing up with pets taught me respect, responsibility, and safety around animals from a young age, and has allowed me to take part in many other pet caring opportunities since then! I give my time to all pets in my care, young or old, and it is always a fun time, every time! I have loved animals my entire life, and I will treat your pet as my own, along with giving them the best experience I would want my own pet to be given! I am currently available on select weekends, and can also fit time in during the week in the evenings, whether it be a walk, feeding, or even bath-rooming. I experience housesitting for others between 2-14 days at a time. I am a teacher during the day and a dance coach in the evenings, and due to this schedule, I am unavailable for drop-in’s between 7am-5:30pm. I am very patient when it comes to taking care of pets, and am attentive to their individual needs. I give appropriate reinforcement, along with discipline when needed. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at this time, but am more than willing to care in your own home, if needed!
