Boarding at my home: safety is my top priority with animal to animal interaction and human to animal interaction. If pups need more alone time/privacy, they can be housed separately from my dogs at all times as we have multiple access points from our home to our fenced in yard and gate sectioning in our house. I do walks daily with them and am outside with them as well for the majority of the day. Our fenced in yard has a dog pool and I have BUCKETS of toys for them to play with! If your pup leans toward the spicier side & is more protective when it comes to their toys, food, or water please let me know and separation accommodations can be made, no problem. All breeds are different and each pup is different. I can also give medications topically, orally, injections etc. I can provide hourly updates through text, video call, phone calls, whatever you would like! At minimum I send a daily update. In your home: as a nurse, safety is always my top priority. I am also extremely clean and organized. I can maintain your daily routine with your pup so they don’t miss much while you are away. I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. As a dog owner, I understand what it’s like to put your trust in someone else’s hands to take care of your fur baby. It’s a big deal, and I’d like to step in to ease those feelings and let you know your pet is in the hands of a genuine, gentle, patient, and kind pet sitter. I work remotely full time with a flex schedule, so I have a ton of flexibility throughout the day. I am fortunate to work for a non-profit that believes in a healthy work-life balance. I care for pets first and foremost with love and respect while maintaining a safe, clean, and fun environment for them. Every pet owner is different and I am happy to configure my care to the owner’s preferences.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was about 8 years old with my own labs! This extended into caring for family, family friends and eventually neighbors and the occasional stranger’s dogs as I got older. Care has included walking, feeding, administering oral medication, bathing, and plenty of play and cuddle time. I’ve even worked in a doggy daycare previously! I’m comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. I am a current Master’s student commuting to UW-Stout Tuesdays-Thursdays, and work part time at a childcare facility on Mondays and Fridays. I would be available for a variety of afternoon or evening walks, potty breaks, or mealtimes! I would also be available on weekends for more in-depth care, stays and adventures. I live in an apartment that allows dogs, and am close to a variety of outdoor walking trails. Play time and cuddles are a free for all, but I tend to have specific areas for eating and sleeping for my dog. I am however comfortable with dogs on furniture, crating, or anything in between!

About: Your pet will have a peaceful stay with lots of love and attention. I will make sure they feel right at home and get all the belly rubs! I work full time from home so if your pet is boarding with me they’ll never be alone, and if I am coming to your home I have some flexibility in my schedule. I love caring for animals! I have lots of nature around my place to take your pet on walks. I have worked as a vet assistant and cared for many dogs, cats, and rabbits in the past.
About: I have been relied on to care for friends, family, and neighbors pets since I was old enough to take responsibility. When I was 14, my helping of peoples pets started when I watched a family friends dog for 4 years during week days and occasional weekends. I worked at a doggie day care facility for 4 months at the end of 2021, doing all duties that go into caring for our furry friends. I went to college to get a degree as a Veterinary Technician for a year and a half. During the time of schooling I worked in a vet clinic and took on the job role as a kennel technician, helping out with anything and everything I could get my hands on. I dropped school because of personal and external obstacles but would love to go back in the future to finish. I only aim to please and never disappoint! Please choose me to be your pets new best friend! I'm currently working full time in Gilman WI, Mon-Thurs 630AM-4PM, Fri 630AM-1030AM. I am mostly available during weekends. The earlier you book with me, the better. I like to plan ahead. I try to be flexible and fit in your pet sitting needs! When caring for pets in a clients home, I am sure to make sure that I am careful when first meeting animals as I know it could be dangerous because of their protectiveness. I make sure to look over instructions twice, and double check that all to-dos are completed before leaving the clients home. I make sure to potty before I leave each time to avoid messes and make sure that they get exercise/attention during my time with them, as I know they feel down without someone home with them.
