The boys both let me know they would love to have Abi again if we need a sitter again. We knew Abigail had fun when we arrived and she didn't want to come home with us!!!! Always a good sign, when your pet is so happy in the new environment that she doesn't want to leave. I highly recommend Cassie and her family to watch your fur baby and will be sure to check her availability next time we need a sitter.”

About: I have always loved pets, having grown up with small dogs and cats (plus birds, hampsters and a chinchilla!). We now have a gorgeous 3 year old Labradoodle and a 11 year old Ragdoll cat. We are approved fosterers with the Kelowna SPCA. My husband and I both work full time from home, love walks and hikes - easily done right from our door on Dilworth Mountain. As pet owners, we know what it's like trying to find the perfect pet care when we are out of town and we're keen to provide a safe a loving environment for other pet owners so that they can leave their fur babies with ease knowing they will be well taken care of. We both work 100% from home so weekdays are never an issue. Occassionaly local weekend trips away but typically available. Our neighbourhood (Dilworth) is perfect for dog walking. We walk our dog at least 3-4 times per day (15-20 mins each) and also have a fenced backyard for play. We have lots of space for dogs to be crated (if needed) overnight. During the day I usually keep them in my office with me (at home). Pets are allowed on furniture, but not beds. Our dog sleeps in a dog bed on the floor beside our bed.

About: HI there, I've taken care of dogs throughout the years, usually for friends and via word of mouth. I do photography as a hobby so as a bonus you'd get some great free shots of your doggo(s)! I live in a condo downtown Kelowna and would love to board your dog or could stay at your home :-) Your home would get the best of care and your pets would get lots of cuddles. I work fulltime, one day per week remotely from home. I'm home most weekends and am available to walk and entertain your dog. I absolutely love them. I have lots of free time on weekends plus a car so I'd be able to take your dog on hikes or walks and entertain, feed & cuddle them all weekend long :-) I work remotely one day per week so would only be able to have them only one day during the week.

Joey is incredibly loving and friendly, providing great companionship for your pup. He feels most comfortable in his crate if we leave, but if your dog prefers to roam, I’m happy to accommodate their needs to ensure they feel at home!

About: Family of four, with two boys (10 and 8) and one small dog (3yo Cavapoo). We recently said goodbye to our large rescue dog after 14 great years. We have lots of dog cousins and dog friends and love caring for all our four legged friends. We are available for weekday and/or weekend stays. Kids and one parent are home from school for the summer. We always find time for dog walks, beaches, and play time. We have a big house, a fully fenced yard, and a large covered deck. We live close to a trail network and have lots of good dog walking options in our neighborhood.

“Our foster puppy Kivi loved staying at Irma's house!! We had rented a non-refundable Airbnb in Kelowna that only allowed two dogs, on the assumption that Kivi would be adopted out by then, as she's the sweetest, cutest puppy possible. But I guess the holidays are a slow time for adoptions. Anyway, we had to find a last-minute place on Rover for Kivi, and Irma was so kind to accommodate us. We picked Kivi most days to go on outings with us, and Irma and her husband were very flexible and gracious with all our unplanned pick up and drop off times. Kivi was super happy to go back there each evening, so we knew she was having fun. She especially loved playing with their Bernadoodle Gemma, who was a gentle giant with little Kivi and got low to her level for play. Kivi LOVED running around and launching herself at Gemma! They had a ball together. Irma and family treated Kivi as one of their own dogs; Kiki even got to cuddle up with them in bed at night! They were also very gracious about Kivi's little puppy accident in the house. Not everyone on Rover will take puppies, and we were so thankful Irma was willing to take that on. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place for Kivi to stay. Thank you!!”
