“Mochiko was well-exercised with regular walks and I appreciated the constant photo updates. He had a fantastic time and came home happy and tired. Highly recommend!”

“We were so happy to have found Jill to watch our dog while we were visiting from out of town . She was a short drive from the village and was flexible with drop off and pick up time , allowing us to explore and enjoy blue mountain and pick up after dinner. She was easy to communicate/coordinate with and was able to accommodate a last minute request to add my brother’s dog to our booking. Thankful to have found a safe and fun place for the dogs to spend their days. They both had a great time.”

“This was our very first time leaving our puppy Ernesto with a sitter, so we were naturally a bit anxious. But Catherine was so calming and reassuring right from the start! She was incredibly kind and understanding — especially when it came to little accidents. She never made us feel bad, just supportive and patient. Throughout the visit, she kept us updated with messages and the sweetest photos, which made us feel so much more at ease. Ernesto looked so happy and comfortable in her care, she let him nap on her and that’s just what he loves! We highly recommend Catherine to anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely cares. If we’re ever back in town, we will definitely be reaching out again. Thank you so much, Catherine!”

“My dog was very well taken care of by Heather and her family. She came home tired and happy both days and we felt confident that she was in good hands. We would definitely use her services again!”

“Skye looked happy and comfortable at Vanessa's house. She sent me pictures and videos so I was at ease when skye was at her place. She took very good care of him and I would definitely think of her in future for my sitting needs.”

About: Hello, I have been caring for my relatives & friends pets for over 25 years, and would welcome the opportunity to care for yours too! I am currently retired with a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet care needs! I look forward to loving your fur family like my own! I have a fenced in yard, on a quiet Street, and could pet sit for your dog (or dogs) at either my home or yours.

About: A little note: I travel overseas every year for at least 2 months, so if you're looking for a lifetime sitter on a daily basis, I may not be the best fit. Don't want to let anyone down. 🍀 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I know that giving love and affection to animals is important - but safety is always my top priority. I’m a pet owner myself (a black stray cat), and I’ve always had a good, almost “healing” relationship with animals. (Ask the 4 poisoned chicks I saved!) I worked at a doggie daycare for two years, and have been a freelance dogwalker for even longer, so it’s years of actively working with dogs. I always make sure that their leash is clipped properly, and that they don’t step on broken glass pieces on the street etc. because I’m a safety freak, and I LOVE every one of my furry friends dearly! I've been working from home since my father passed away, so I can always manage my time. And my main job doesn't require my full-time attention. I'm a smoke/alcohol/drug-free person and I will leave your home clean, and your pets happy for sure! They're welcome at my place as well, since both my husband and I are crazy about animals! We're working on having a fence around the yard too. Hopefully we'll get that done soon! 👍 Thank you!

“I couldn’t be happier with the care our pup received from Jacquelyn! Despite the short notice, she made herself available, for which we were very grateful. She took excellent care of Sophie, giving her multiple walks and ensuring she felt comfortable and loved. We felt completely at ease while we were away and will definitely use Jacquelyn’s services again if we’re ever in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Jaquelyn is amazing! So caring and attentive. My dog is a very timid rescue and she loves to go see Jaquelyn. Thanks for the great care that you provide!”

“This was my first experience with DogVacay and I was not disappointed. Jan was quick to respond to my request and very flexible with drop-off/pick-up times. My border collie Dana seemed happy and well cared for by the end of the day. She also seemed to get along well with their dog and was wagging alongside her when I came to the door. I definitely recommend Jan and her husband; I certainly plan to use them many more times in the future!”

About: Hello! I’m Allysa, your friendly neighbourhood dog lover who’s focus is providing the best care for your furry pals. 🐾 With years of experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, I know exactly how to keep your dog happy, healthy, and entertained! Friends and family lovingly call me “The Dog Whisperer,” because of my ability to teach any dog any trick. I’ve always been surrounded by family dogs, including my current sidekick, a 3-year-old, high-energy miniature pinscher named Loki. He’s got a ton of spunk and loves hanging out with other dogs, so if your pup needs a buddy for playtime or a walk, we’re the perfect match! I know how to keep up with those high-energy pups and make sure they’re getting the exercise and fun they need. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I used to work at the Humane Society as a dog trainer. I provided one-on-one training, teaching them manners and new tricks to help them become the best version of themselves, and ultimately more adoptable! I’ve also volunteered at many animal shelters, where I was the go-to daily dog walker, bather, and general caretaker. Whether it's going for an exciting walk or cuddling up for some relaxation, I’m all about making sure your dog feels loved, safe, and part of the pack! I can’t wait to meet your dog and give them the care and attention they deserve. I run my own business and work from home with very flexible hours. I can be home for your pup and give them all the attention they need throughout the day. I never let my dog, or any other dog off leash when I am responsible for them. It’s just not worth the risk. Outside time is always monitored. My own pup Loki is great with other dogs, he is always happy to have a play mate. Play time is always monitored as well.

About: I have been a dog owner since the time I was born. My dogs have always been my dear friends, some who have needed a lot of care and special attention. After I moved out, I continued to pet-sit for my parents dash-hound until recently when he crossed over the rainbow bridge. I am experiencing pet-fever but am waiting to be a little bit more settled before adding a furry friend to my family. I am excited to share some of the love with your best friend! I am a big walker and love exploring new areas so I am keen to take your dog to their normal walk areas. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I takes a village to raise a family, including furry friends! This is a fun side gig for me - I get as much enjoyment being around the pets as they do having the excerise and company they need. I’ve available during the day Monday - Friday and some weekends! Happy to come 15 minutes in any direction from Collingwood. I keep my schedule updated regularly. I treat your pet and home with the utmost care and respect - the same as I would want my own home and pet to be treated. Trust and respect is incredibly important to me.

After speaking with Sofia I decided to leave Bailey in her care, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Sofia was incredibly accommodating and made Bailey feel right at home. Throughout the stay, she kept updating me with frequent pictures and videos, showing how much fun Bailey was having. Sofia genuinely cares for dogs and treated Bailey as if he was her own. Dalton S.Star Sitter
“I have known Dalton for many years now, we became friends in college and he helped me with caring for my animals. He grew up caring for cats and dogs and when I challenged him with helping me care for my dog and horses he took in stride! They both grew attached to him immediately, as all animals are attracted to his calm and caring nature. As a hobby I walk dog's as I have moved here from Ireland and have missed being around animals. Dalton has helped me tremendously with my clients dogs when I needed extra help. This includes, walking, lead training, dog sitting and of course keeping to their individual meal needs. I believe Dalton is the best candidate yet for Rover as he is the most caring and thoughtful person I know. He is extremely creative with excellent communicative skills and of course business savey! Kind regards, Melanie.”

Ashley was amazing, as always. Even attempted to trim Karma's nails, even though Karma acts like you're cutting her whole toe off, Lol. Karma was pooped when she got home, and passed right out on my bed. She loves going to Ashley's, and I'm sure she can't wait for her next visit!! :)
