“Heidi is caring, reliable, trustworthy and great with pets! She has taken care of my 6 year old cat on several occasions. My cat does not like other people but Heidi gained her trust quickly. I always return home to a happy cat and there have never been any issues. I will be using her again during a longer vacation in the coming months. I highly recommend Heidi! Enjoy peace of mind while you are away knowing that your furry friend is being cared for by a thoughtful, loving person.”

7. Pauline Z.
“Pauline is an amazing person overall, but she is particularly amazing with animals! She watched my 2 dogs (a Yorkie, 9, and a husky, 2) while I was away on vacation and she was wonderful. She sent me pictures everyday and even worked on loose leash walking with my husky! She is so patient and so kind. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies! I truly felt they were safe, loved, and cared for the whole time! I never had to worry. Will definitely hire her again!”
8. Drew F.
“Drew is the best dog sitter we have ever had. Drew and our dog blue are best friends to this day after the time they spent together. We left our dog with Drew last christmas and offered him to stay in our house! Not only did Drew spend lots of time caring for and playing with the dog but, he also kept our house super clean and organized (even more than it was before we left). Drew is super trustworthy and responsible so trusting him in our house was no stress at all! Drew also took the time to keep us updated on how our dog was doing and would even set up Christmas photoshoots with our dog in front of the christmas tree to keep him involved in our family christmas, it was so cute! Anytime our family now goes away, we will always consider Drew to take care and spend time with our pets! To this day our dog is so excited, more then usual, every time drew walks through the door, he knows he’s in good hands!”

About: We live in a house with a fenced yard with some grass and some dirt - y'know for digging. It's a good size. We walk in the trails, at the dunes or at the doggy beach daily on and/or off the leash. Our dog Kutsu (medium sized border collie mix from Japan) is great with other dogs and loves to run, play and explore. He mostly just keeps to himself though. I am a full time mom to a 18mo daughter who is gentle with the dogs we have had here. We're more than happy to accommodate any special needs. We are well-versed in the cone of shame, allergies, and giving medications. We believe in positive reinforcement training, and we use an e-collar for our own now 100% off-leash happy doggy. We always have treats in our fanny pack to reward good behaviour. Please feel free to talk to us more about how we can accommodate and how we can be of service. Stay at home mom so I'm home 24/7 and my toddler goes to daycare in collingwood. We do one big walk a day but there is always room for more. We have a very quiet street so I can take doggies on a quick one around the block anytime. I can travel as well to give doggies a walk or to be let out during the day, almost anytime of day. All depends on the needs of the dog. If they like to be left alone, cool. If they need meds, cool. If they need walks all day, cool. We can accomodate!

About: I have had pet animals my entire life! It all started when I was a child with my first rescue beagle named buddy. Over the past 5 years i have increased my knowledge relating to animal care and ownership. I’ve had all types of pets from exotic animals (cockatiel, gerbils) to domestic animals(dogs, cats and bunnies). I’m a FEMA certified Canine Search Specialist. I also have knowledge and training in animal first aid. I’m currently a K9 Handler specializing in Explosive Detection. I’m a K9 Handler so my entire schedule revolves around animals, I currently have 3 dogs. (8Y/O, 6Y/O and 1Y/O) that I take for walks multiple times a day. I also go hiking and swimming with my dogs. My 1 year old German Shepherd has to get wet every opportunity he has. My 6Y/O is a Working dog trained in Explosive Detection that I work with daily. I live in a very centralized area with multiple route options for walks. Routes can be chosen based on the dog. If your dog loves people and other dogs we can walk around town, if you dogs is more social and prefers to be off leash I have 2 dogs parks nearby to utilize. If your dog prefers to be left alone there’s trails and other less populated areas for your pets to enjoy. I also have 2 very friendly dogs that can provide company and help burn off all the furball energy. I can also provide basic training for dogs helping them master sit, stay, down and heel.

“Quick response time, great communication.”
12. Emily H.
“Emily was great with my dog who has separation anxiety and can be reactive in certain situations. She was on time for his walk while I was at work, shared some photos, and my dog had a great time with her. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs in my house. My neighbour was also a breeder for field spaniels so I got to be one of the first people each new litter met, to prepare them from homes with young kids. I am currently in university but have a very flexible schedule to care for your dogs when you need me most. I am looking forward to my study break with your pup while you are at work! I have a deep love for furry animals and many trails near me to show dogs new areas and places to smell. Your dog will be getting as much (if not more) attention and affection as when they are in their regular home.

16. Ashley M.
“Ashley was absolutely wonderful! We have never had a sitter for Bella and she was the perfect person to begin with. Ashley has a natural ability to bond with animals and Bella was so lucky to have her!! I will definitely use Ashley again!”
17. Matthew H.
“Matthew is a gentle and caring person who has always had a passion and an interest for animals. He is responsible and has a big respect for animals- his own dog is always well taken care of..to the point of being spoiled :) Our own dog would come running up to Matthew with a wagging tail and she would woo at him and tell him all about her day. Dogs have a good sense on who a good person is, and Matthew is definitely one of them. Anyone who would use Matthew as a dog caregiver would have a peace of mind, knowing their fur baby is in good hands!”

About: I have taken care of dogs (small breeds to giant breeds) since I was 10. I have watched friends and family members for drop in visits, walks and over night visits. I love to go for walks, play fetch, snuggle and treat them to a pupichino or timbit. I work full-time, therefore Tuesdays and Thursdays I am available from 3:30pm-4:30pm, 6:00pm-8:00pm. Saturdays and Sundays I am available 6:00am to 11:00am and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. If you have a fenced in yard, I will ensure your fur baby(s) go to the bathroom, play fetch with them, ensure they have fresh water feed them (if needed). I can sit in the couch with them to give them some extra snuggle time, or crate them (if you are crate training them). For puppies, I will teach them how to sit, paw, stay, lie down and still do all the above with them as well. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, not to worry, I will take them out on their leash to do their business, play fetch (as long as they have extremely well recall) and do all the above as well. I will let you know when I arrived, and when I leave, and should you wish for me to send you some photos of your fur baby, I can.
