About: I work in the veterinarian field and have several years experience in animal boarding and training facilities. With my combination of veterinary care and boarding experience, you can feel confident your pets are in good hands! I have flexibility to help check in on your pets as needed with my current schedule. I am able to come as needed or on a regular basis. I will care for your pets in their home by offering check in visits. If you need more than one a day, I’m happy to work with you.

About: I've been caring for animals for 39 years. Over that time I've lived with and looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, and rats, so I'm comfortable with a wide range of pets and their different personalities and needs. My professional background includes work at animal hospitals, grooming salons, and animal rescues. That experience, along with caring for my own pets, taught me how to deliver caring, loving, and thoughtful care that is also medically aware. I'm comfortable providing medical support, administering medications, and caring for special-needs dogs. In several situations I've been able to recognize the early signs of serious medical emergencies in dogs and respond appropriately. Working in rescue also deepened my understanding of animal behaviour and stress. I know that being away from their person can be hard on pets (and on their owners), so I focus on creating a calm, reassuring environment and keeping communications clear so both of you can feel more at ease. I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm available any time during the week for drop-ins, dog or cat hangouts at my home, or working from your home so your pets can stay in their own familiar space. I am also available weekends as well Just let me know what works for you and your pets! I currently have a pet free home. I do have crates if your pet prefers that or they can cuddle up in bed. Your dog would only be walked on a leash or put out on a very secure, strong cable as I do not have a fenced yard. In your home I would follow any rules and routines you have in place.

About: I've cared for animals since I was a kid. From early morning walks to baths and meals, I have pet-sat for neighbours, friends and family for many years. Most recently I boarded a pet pig. I'm currently working as a freelancer remotely from my home. I am available any day or time of the week and can give your pet the care and attention it deserves. I have a spacious house and tree-lined yard - so location and timing are flexible. I have a car and will come to your residence if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Leah, a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to my two dogs, Winston and Dakota. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, so my priority is making sure both you and your dog feel safe, comfortable and confident. My experience goes beyond everyday pet ownership. Growing up, I volunteered with the Oakville Humane Society, where I gained experience around animals with different personalities and needs. I also spent several years volunteering with Frontline K9 Manitoba, participating in spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, assisting with basic animal health needs, and supporting rescue and apprehension efforts. One of my greatest learning experiences has been my own dog, Dakota. Dakota is a rescue with a history of dog reactivity, which led me to invest extensively in professional training and learn as much as possible about canine behaviour, body language, triggers and safe handling. I’ve worked closely with trainers and completed multiple training programs with her, giving me hands-on experience managing and supporting a dog with more complex behavioural needs. Because of this experience, I’m comfortable reinforcing the training and routines you already have in place, including loose-leash walking, calm and structured walks, polite greetings, jumping, impulse control, basic cues and confidence building. I understand the importance of consistency and will always follow the methods, commands and boundaries you use with your dog. I’m especially understanding of reactive, anxious or sensitive dogs. I know that sometimes a successful walk means creating distance, changing routes, avoiding a trigger or simply giving a dog the time and space they need to feel safe. Every dog is different, and I’m happy to adapt my care to their personality, routine and needs. My goal is for your dog to have a safe, positive and enriching experience while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for by someone who genuinely understands dogs. About: Happy to walk a dog or two. I usually have my kids and dog in tow on walks, but am flexible if that’s not ideal. Our 12yo dog Kutsu (medium sized border collie mix from Japan) is great with other dogs and loves to run, play and explore. He mostly just keeps to himself though and avoids conflict. I am a full time mom looking for extra cash and love dogs, and so do the kids of course. The kids are so far very gentle with our dog and other dogs we’ve had here. We aren’t hosting at this time but will again soon! We're more than happy to accommodate any special needs. We are well-versed in the cone of shame, allergies, and giving medications. I used to be a nurse so learning on the job is my specialty. We believe in positive reinforcement training and have used an e-collar in the past until it wasn’t necessary anymore. Please feel free to talk to us more about how we can support you and your best friend! I am a stay at home mom so I make my own schedule and am very flexible. I am good with last-minute or planned visits. All depends on the needs of the dog. If they like to be left alone, cool. If they need meds, cool. If they need walks all day, cool. We can accomodate!

About: Ever since I was young I always loved animals, not only cats and dogs...but each and every animal I see around... I always communicate with them and give them as much as love as I can!! I'm currently enjoying my college life and being with pets gives me a plentiful worthy time to spend with these cuties.Even I have an innovative way of training puppies. I always try to maintain a safe environment for these fur babies and always use to clean and refill the empty bowls and never make them feel bored.

About: Hi, My name is Kim and I have been taking care of dogs and cats for most of my life. Whether it's my own animals or my friends and families. I have administered medications, bathed, walked, and fed them. I have worked with animals that are on a special diet. My Pug has allergies so I understand the necessity of sticking to diets. My Shih Tzu is on daily medication for seizures so I understand the responsibility and importance of making sure medications is administered consistently and properly. I was a PSW, but I am taking some time off to see if can start a career in animal care. My schedule is open with lots of time to give attention to your animal. I like to treat every animal that comes in my home like they are my own. I own two small dogs and I keep them leashed at all times when I am outside. My yard is partially fenced in and safety is my number one priority for all animals. I would take the dogs on multiple walks a day to keep them exercised. I also have two children aged 12 and 9 who love to play with your animal to keep them happy. I would feed the animals as per the animals usual schedule.
