About: I provide dependable in-home pet and house sitting for dogs, cats and small or exotic pets, with an emphasis on keeping them happy and settled in their own environment and schedule. I can help with feeding, walks, companionship, plant care, mail/package collection and any other everyday household needs while you’re away. I also have experience caring for animals with medical needs, senior pets, and pets who need a little extra support. This includes pets who are blind, have hearing loss, require oral medication, insulin, allergy care and heart medication. I’m attentive to details, comfortable following care instructions and careful about monitoring changes in behaviour, appetite, energy, mobility or comfort. I also offer a complimentary meet-and-greet before the first booking so I can get to know your pets, their routines, their care needs and any important details ahead of time. My goal is to give owners peace of mind while making sure their pets feel safe, cared for and settled at home! I am self-employed, so I have flexible availability and pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available seven days a week and structure my time around each pet’s regular schedule. My goal is to keep pets comfortable in their own home and regular routine while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. I provide care in the client’s home, so my focus is on keeping pets safe, comfortable and settled in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible including feeding, walks, medication, litter care, playtime, companionship, and bedtime routines. Before a booking, I like to review care instructions, health needs, emergency contacts, vet information, home access details and any household routines. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, food, medications and anything that could affect a pet’s safety. I also respect the client’s home by keeping things tidy, collecting mail/packages, caring for plants and following household instructions.

About: Ever since I was young I always loved animals, not only cats and dogs...but each and every animal I see around... I always communicate with them and give them as much as love as I can!! Plus, my own 2 dogs are home with me all day and would love to play with your pet! When your pet is in my home, they’ll be treated just like my own! They have full access to the couch and all areas of my pet-friendly two-bedroom apartment. You’re welcome to bring any personal items—beds, blankets, toys, or anything that helps your pet feel more at home—but we also have plenty of toys and treats here for them to enjoy. My two dogs use pee pads during the winter months, but I’m absolutely able to take your dog out for walks if that’s part of their routine. If your pet is also pee-pad trained, that works perfectly for us.

About: Hi, My name is Kim and I have been taking care of dogs and cats for most of my life. Whether it's my own animals or my friends and families. I have administered medications, bathed, walked, and fed them. I have worked with animals that are on a special diet. My Pug has allergies so I understand the necessity of sticking to diets. My Shih Tzu is on daily medication for seizures so I understand the responsibility and importance of making sure medications is administered consistently and properly. I was a PSW, but I am taking some time off to see if can start a career in animal care. My schedule is open with lots of time to give attention to your animal. I like to treat every animal that comes in my home like they are my own. I own two small dogs and I keep them leashed at all times when I am outside. My yard is partially fenced in and safety is my number one priority for all animals. I would take the dogs on multiple walks a day to keep them exercised. I also have two children aged 12 and 9 who love to play with your animal to keep them happy. I would feed the animals as per the animals usual schedule. About: Happy to walk a dog or two. I usually have my kids and dog in tow on walks, but am flexible if that’s not ideal. Our 12yo dog Kutsu (medium sized border collie mix from Japan) is great with other dogs and loves to run, play and explore. He mostly just keeps to himself though and avoids conflict. I am a full time mom looking for extra cash and love dogs, and so do the kids of course. The kids are so far very gentle with our dog and other dogs we’ve had here. We aren’t hosting at this time but will again soon! We're more than happy to accommodate any special needs. We are well-versed in the cone of shame, allergies, and giving medications. I used to be a nurse so learning on the job is my specialty. We believe in positive reinforcement training and have used an e-collar in the past until it wasn’t necessary anymore. Please feel free to talk to us more about how we can support you and your best friend! I am a stay at home mom so I make my own schedule and am very flexible. I am good with last-minute or planned visits. All depends on the needs of the dog. If they like to be left alone, cool. If they need meds, cool. If they need walks all day, cool. We can accomodate!

About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. I love all animals and if I am not familiar with a particular care process, I am happy to learn. I look forward to being able to provide my services to anyone who needs it. I do currently work 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday but my work is on a hybrid model and I live close to work. I am willing to come and help before work, after work and even on my lunch breaks if needed. My weekends are very open and flexible as well. I currently rent and have 2 cats, so taking care of your pet in my home is possible but restricted. While taking care of pets in their home. I will abide by all house rules. I will visit your home and provide a minimum of 3 walks a day for drop ins, if I am housesitting then more care will be provided. I will also brush your pets and if you wish more grooming services, this can always be discussed.
