About: Happy to walk a dog or two. I usually have my kids and dog in tow on walks, but am flexible if that’s not ideal. Our 12yo dog Kutsu (medium sized border collie mix from Japan) is great with other dogs and loves to run, play and explore. He mostly just keeps to himself though and avoids conflict. I am a full time mom looking for extra cash and love dogs, and so do the kids of course. The kids are so far very gentle with our dog and other dogs we’ve had here. We aren’t hosting at this time but will again soon! We're more than happy to accommodate any special needs. We are well-versed in the cone of shame, allergies, and giving medications. I used to be a nurse so learning on the job is my specialty. We believe in positive reinforcement training and have used an e-collar in the past until it wasn’t necessary anymore. Growing up, my dad was a dog trainer, so I was surrounded by dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments from a young age. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, whether they’re energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your instructions to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I’m comfortable with crating if that’s part of their routine, administering meals, going for walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of love and attention. “Ashley was incredibly accommodating with an out-of-the-norm pick-up times and with a last minute booking. Her property has plenty of space for the dogs to play and my dog loved spending time with her pups. She was very communicative and stayed in touch over the weekend. Only downside - my pup came home smelling quite strongly of cigarette smoke. Other than that, would book again!”
