Amber is absolutely awesome. This was my first time using the service AND leaving TQ by herself overnight. Amber's response time right from the start was swift. I appreciated the meet and greet very much as I was allowing a stranger into my home thereafter with my being home. Even though my fur baby did not come out during the first visit, Amber's calm, respectful manner assured me that I had made the right choice. Amber was very patient with me being anxious about this first time. I absolutely loved the report card and having pictures sent to me!!! Highly recommend Amber if you are in the area - the app is great to find someone local and have the added confidence that everyone is being vetted/rated is an added value for me.

Sharon did an excellent job looking after my cat when a last minute opportunity to travel came up. She is very professional and provided requested updates throughout the week. I would not hesitate to have her provide care again.

Mary was punctual, communicative, and followed all our directions carefully. One of our cats is still a bit stressed from our recent move, but she was patient and eventually won her over a bit. Our braver cat immediately took to her—she clearly enjoys her company and playtime. We really appreciate the care she provided and look forward to hiring her again next time. Thank you, Mary!

About: 🐾 About Me Hi there! I’m Shelley — a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for snuggly, affectionate pups. I’ve had a Shih Tzu of my own, so I understand just how much love, comfort, and attention our furry friends need to feel happy and secure. I don’t focus on long walks — instead, I offer something many dogs truly prefer: a big, fully fenced yard to safely play and explore, and a calm, cozy environment where they can relax, cuddle, and get all the attention they deserve. Whether your dog loves gentle playtime, lap snuggles, or just being near someone who adores them, they’ll feel right at home with me. I treat every guest pup like my own — with patience, care, and plenty of belly rubs. This isn’t just pet sitting — it’s about creating a loving, stress-free space where your dog feels safe, seen, and loved. ❤️ 🗓️ My Schedule I’m home most of the time, so your pup will never be left alone for long. I keep a flexible schedule and can adjust to meet each dog’s needs. ✅ Daytime: I’m available throughout the day for playtime, feeding, and cuddles. Dogs have plenty of supervised outdoor time in my large fenced yard, plus cozy indoor breaks. 🌙 Evenings: Evenings are relaxed and calm — perfect for dogs who like winding down with snuggles or quiet time. 🏡 Weekends: Available most weekends for overnight stays or daytime visits — just reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate! 🏡 When Pets Stay in My Home Your pup will enjoy a relaxed, loving environment with lots of attention and space to play. I have a large, fully fenced yard, perfect for safe outdoor time and fetch. Dogs get plenty of supervised playtime, snuggles, and one-on-one care — no overcrowding. I keep a calm, cozy home — great for small or medium dogs who love comfort and companionship. Fresh water, clean spaces, and lots of affection are always guaranteed. If your dog likes naps, belly rubs, or just being close, they’ll fit right in here. 💡 In short: I treat your dog like family — safe, loved, and completely at ease. --- 🚗 When I Care for Pets in Their Home When I visit your home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules to favorite toys or nap spots. I give lots of love, pets, and playtime, so your pup feels cared for even while you’re away. I send photo and text updates so you always know how your furry friend is doing. I’m respectful of your home, clean, and reliable — you can always count on me to show up on time.

About: My 24 years of experience includes behaviour training of numerous breeds both big and small, rescues and abandoned, aggressive, nervous, or insecure, I’ve worked with them all and then trained their owners. I’ve trained dogs for work at Pearson Airport and I’ve been fortunate enough to train dogs for people with seen and unseen disabilities. I’ve worked with bomb detection dogs, organized goose and duck control with border collies for large business properties and am very knowledgeable with puppy and senior care as well. I am experienced with large dogs, canine aggression, mental health issues including separation anxiety and shut downs. I speak an excellent canine! In other words, I am very familiar with canine body language and how to correctly interpret their vocal and physical communication. I’ve also graduated from a college program on Canine Massage Therapy so I can get an accurate overall understanding of your pet friend during their stay with me. If you have any questions about their behaviour I will include a professional behaviour analysis that will help you better understand your dog, along with training tips using Positive Reinforcement that will encourage the results you want. Dogs have emotional highs and lows like we do, as well as fears and traumatic experiences that linger, stay in their body, and are hard to overcome. I will earn their trust as well as yours, help bring them into a balanced emotional state which will ease everyone’s mind and bring peace to your household. Your dog is a treasure that will be protected in my home, and treated like my own. My K9 partner recently retired from Explosive Detection so I decided to retire from that career too. As a result, I can dedicate full time personal attention to your dog(s). Also, I only accept a maximum of 5 dogs per day. By keeping the numbers low I can devote more time to each one and ensure a happy, healthy vacation for them. I commit to staying active with active dogs and will cater to absolute pampering for seniors and toys. I have separate areas in my home for smaller dogs, senior dogs, and bigger dogs. That way each pet can feel comfortable and at ease here, like one of the family.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve also spent many years around dogs and have had my own dog for the past 2.5 years. I truly love animals and understand the importance of making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My dog is a sweet, gentle giant who loves company and gets along well with others. On my days off, I’d love to walk your dogs, provide potty breaks, or spend quality time with them. My dog is also looking for some new friends to join us for walks and playtime! I work full-time Sunday through Thursday, but I’m available for pet care on Fridays and Saturdays. I can offer boarding and overnight stays on Friday and/or Saturday nights, with pickup by 10:00 AM on Sundays. I’m also available on those days for dog walks, potty breaks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. My sweet, gentle giant dog would also love to make some new friends for walks and playtime! I do not have a fenced yard, but I love staying active and walking my dog regularly. I’d be happy to bring your dog along with us for walks and outdoor time. If your dog enjoys adventures and has reliable recall, I can also take them for hikes or outings in the car for extra exercise and fun. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority.

About: My guy Bruce is the best thing to happen to me! Bruce is a great companion - he’s very loyal, and the snuggliest little guy in the world. He is reactive however, and because of it, I now have experience in that department. Bruce is doing really well - it’s all about consistency and learning about their specific triggers and how to handle them: Happy to pass on some tips and tricks that I’ve learned along the way. Bruce and I spend a lot of time with other dogs on hikes and on play dates - happy to do the same with yours. If they prefer not to be social we can do that too! I’m good with small & big dogs and those with behaviour issues that we need to work through. Shoot me a message! I work from home and am available most days for a visit or a walk. Could also be available last minute - give me a shout! I’d prefer to come to your home, but if your dog is good with other dogs we can try them out with brucey first to see how things will pan out. He doesn’t do well with intact males or dogs that are reactive/aggressive - he reacts second. I will treat your dog like my own, and give them all the rubs and snuggles (if they want them!!).

About: Hi, My name is Kim and I have been taking care of dogs and cats for most of my life. Whether it's my own animals or my friends and families. I have administered medications, bathed, walked, and fed them. I have worked with animals that are on a special diet. My Pug has allergies so I understand the necessity of sticking to diets. My Shih Tzu is on daily medication for seizures so I understand the responsibility and importance of making sure medications is administered consistently and properly. I was a PSW, but I am taking some time off to see if can start a career in animal care. My schedule is open with lots of time to give attention to your animal. I like to treat every animal that comes in my home like they are my own. I own two small dogs and I keep them leashed at all times when I am outside. My yard is partially fenced in and safety is my number one priority for all animals. I would take the dogs on multiple walks a day to keep them exercised. I also have two children aged 12 and 9 who love to play with your animal to keep them happy. I would feed the animals as per the animals usual schedule. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to ask.

I keep their environment clean, make sure they’re mentally and physically stimulated, and always prioritize their safety and well-being. Marie met with us twice prior to caring for our 2 female Maine Coons to understand our expectations and needs. She sent photos of the girls and provided updates on their wellbeing. This reassured me that our cats were well cared for and happy. One of our cats is overweight and requires assistance with cleaning herself. ( she can’t reach her bottom end). Marie cleaned her bottom twice while we were away. Even sent a photo of how annoyed Frankie was with this, but made me feel Marie cared. I would definitely recommend and use Marie for future needs. Amazing!!!

About: I’ve been involved with animals since I was a toddler. Having a variety of pets growing up, I learned from a young age how to take care of various animals. I have taken care of dogs as small as 6lbs to 150lbs+, a wide range of different breeds. I am often trusted look after the pets of friends and family whether for a day, weekend or week. I treat them as if they are my own! I am versed in day to day care (feeding, walking, playing), providing any medications if required, bathing, etc. I share a rescue dog with my significant other, we adopted her through a Toronto agency from Texas in December 2022. I am currently able to take care of pets throughout the week and on the weekends. I have a very flexible schedule for the time being so am more easily able to accommodate. I have approximately 1200 square feet of living space, a designated doggy lounge chair, a large deck and an unfenced backyard. I use a long lead for my dog while we’re the backyard so she is able to run around. There is plenty of sun as well as shade in the backyard and a large fence along the road side for safety. When I leave my dog out, I check on her and change the water frequently to ensure it’s clean & cool! We do playtime, playing fetch and running around a couple times a day, and go for at least one 20-30 min walk each day. I am a happy to accommodate to any dogs schedule/preferences with more or less activity (additional walks, more/less play time, longer/shorter walks etc) ! My dog is medium energy and loves to lounge and nap.

So amazing with my Ranger and my own worrying about how he’s adjusting to our home. Cared for him like he was her own and that’s a special kind of reassurance. I got updates and pictures and it put my heart at ease knowing he is with someone who can show him how special he is. Even if he is a flight risk.
