“If you’re looking for an exceptional caregiver to look after your pets and your home, Bensha is truly outstanding. From our very first conversation, I felt completely at ease entrusting her with our home, our cats, and our dog, Boo. That peace of mind is priceless—and she exceeded every expectation. The entire experience was nothing short of incredible. Bensha went above and beyond in every possible way, caring for our pets with genuine love and attention, as if they were her own. She even handled administering medication with care and confidence, which meant so much to us while we were away. While we were out of the country, we were hit with a snowstorm, and Bensha and her partner stepped in without hesitation—her partner even took the time to snowblow our property. That level of thoughtfulness and dedication is rare. Bensha is not only reliable and professional, but also deeply compassionate. We came home to happy pets and a well-cared-for home, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend her—she is simply amazing. Tammy”

“Amanda helped me out with a last minute overnight house sit. She was a good communicator and good at following the instructions that were left for her. She walked the dogs and took pictures of the fur babies. She also gave my cat his medicine as he has diabetes. Thank you Amanda”

“We are new to Rover and this was the first time leaving our dog with someone other than family for more than 1 night - and it couldn't have gone any better. Lindsay was super to work with from our first contact, to the Meet & Greet and throughout her stay at our house with Lucy. I would 100% recommend Lindsay 😊”

“Rachel did an amazing job taking care of Franklin while I was away, she provided great updates and her communication was very good. I will be sure to reach out to her again to take care of Franklin in the future”

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life and have spent hours volunteering at the TBDHS, along with pet sitting and walking my neighbour's dog! I have my own, high-energy dog (Ellie, husky-German shepherd mix) from Northern Critters in Need. Some activities that I do with my dog (and neighbour’s dogs) are hikes, bike rides, the park, and more. I'm used to large dogs pulling occasionally! I also have two cats (Trix and Roux), who are also rescues. Roux is the sweetest cat that flops when you pick her up (kind of like a ragdoll cat), and Trix will talk (meow) at you when she's ready for your attention. While volunteering at the TBDHS, I would do basic care (feeding, brushing, playtime, etc.) and take the dogs for walks and socialize with them until they found their forever homes! I love going for daily walks with my dogs or my neighbour's dogs! I'm available in the afternoon and evening primarily, but can make exceptions for morning and nighttime as well. Since having large and high-energy dogs, I am very used to an active lifestyle. When I take them on hikes, walks, and bike rides, I'm used to them pulling on the leash when they are overly excited. I can (usually) calm them down by patting their chest-area or continuing on our way if necessary.

“Stephanie was so great with our dog! Took a lot of photos to keep us updated, and took him on tons of adventures to keep him busy. She made us feel so at ease knowing someone was taking such good care of our sweet boy. We highly recommend her!”

About: Hello, my name is Nicole, I recently graduated with a business degree, I grew up with 3 different dogs. I love running, I am very interpersonal. I find myself to be a genuine person. I am great with animals, I have trained my dogs in the past. Except for the one I grew up with because we got him when I was 1. I like to spend free time either doing crosswords or reading a book maybe watching a movie. Right now I work full time but I would like to work my way around it with this opportunity. I still walk my dogs as much as I can. I also have a huge travelling bug , I want to travel the world so badly.
“We had the pleasure of having Felipe watch our two boys while we were away on a 4 days trip. We were so impressed with how much he prioritized our dogs experience, they were not only fed, watered and treated but he took the time to actually spend time with them in the yard which encouraged them to play longer and get more exercise, they loved having his presence with them outside and were so content! Felipe was an excellent communicator, reached out to confirm with us what behaviour and habits were normal and allowed and did everything to make both our doggos and our experience apart as pleasant and worry free as possible! Thank you so much Felipe!”

About: What sets me apart is my deep love for pets, highlighted by my experience caring for my own 3-year-old cat. I offer specialized care including senior pet support, ensuring your furry friends receive personalized, attentive care. Pet care is central to my routine. Each day, I ensure my own cat gets plenty of playtime and attention, and I incorporate walks, meals, and training sessions for pets under my care. Weekly, I focus on detailed check-ins, updates, and any special care needs, making sure every pet receives consistent and loving attention. In my home, I provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of playtime and structured routines for my own cat, which translates into a nurturing approach for your pets. I prioritize creating a comforting atmosphere and maintaining regular updates to keep you informed.
About: We always had pets in our family since I was young and we were required to care for them. I have a calm demeanor which seems to calm pets quickly when I meet them which in turn gains their trust. After that I give them lots of love which bonds us! I am a full-time house/petsitter and therefore can put all of my energy into caring for pets and homes. In addition, I don’t have any other obligations. Before a sit is agreed, I will always request a video call or in person visit to get to know the pet owner(s) and hopefully also the pet. I ask as many questions as I can to determine if the pet and I would be a good fit. In addition I find out what, if any, special needs the pet has. With all of this information I am able to do up a plan for the care of the pet.

I 100% recommend Amanda to watch your babies. It was my first time leaving my three boys with anyone and had so much anxiety. She went above to make sure my mind was at ease, keeping in contact and sending pictures and videos of them. My Chihuahua who is not fond of new people, took to Amanda immediately, I couldn't believe it. She took very good care all of them and their different personalities/needs. Amanda is truly an animal whisperer. Thank you again for staying in my home, keeping it as tidy as I left it and loving my boys 💙💙💙

Leslie went over and beyond our expectation... She took great care of Lucy and treated her as if she were her own.... She took her for many walks and even groomed her... She kept in contact with pictures and texts while we were on vacation... We felt assured that Lucy was in good hands....The house was also well taken care of as we could hardly tell she had been there...

Brenda has watched our two dogs twice now and it feels so great to have a reliable pet sitter while I travel. Brenda gives my dogs lots of affection, exercise and maintains their regular routine. Brenda treats my home with respect and is very good with communicating throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend her and hope to have watch my dogs again!

This is an easy 5 star review. Sam took care of our boys so well. Easy and quick communication, regular updates as to how they were doing, and the place was left very clean. We came home and our dog/cat barely cared that we were back. They were very relaxed after a weekend of Sam's care and clearly received ample love and attention. We will rebook her whenever we can!

Lindsay is very reliable and takes amazing care of the dogs. I am completely comfortable with her service, knowing they are getting the best care! She communicates very well, letting us know what they’re up to and anything we need to know. Will be booking her again!
