“Elizaveta provided our attention needing dog excellent care in her home over the week we had to travel. She included our dog in activities, provided many chances outside, and much love and snuggles. Our fur buddy came home looking great and we can tell she had a happy time. We will certainly look to rebook with Elizaveta again should the opportunity arise!”

“Amanda was amazing with our Sophie! Sophie tends to be nervous around new people but she warmed up to Amanda and her family so fast! We felt comfortable our entire vacation knowing our girl was being taken care of in the best way! Amanda sent photo updates and videos which were awesome. So happy we found a caring pet sitter for our dogs. ❤️”

“Jodi watched my 2 year old lab for 2 days and 1 night. She was wonderful, and even arranged for a meet and greet the week before his stay so that we could get to know her. She was so reassuring, you can tell that she knows what it’s like to leave behind your cherished pet. She took detailed notes when asking about my dog and sent lots of updates and pictures while I was away. Would recommend without hesitation. Thanks, Jodi!”

“This was our first experience using rover and now that we've found her, we're not using anyone else, she is amazing and our little (figuratively speaking, realistically he's pretty large lol) puppy loved her!”

“This was Stryker's second time 'vacationing' with Adrienne. He absolutely loves his time with her and it gives me comfort knowing he's well loved and cared for when I'm away. She was even so accommodating in extending his stay for another night so we could extend our family vacation. I can't recommend her enough!”

About: I had a dog growing up, from a puppy to 14 years old. I trained him as a puppy and took care of his daily needs. I have since rescued two dogs of my own while living in Thunder Bay. One was adopted at 5 years old and I have been able to continue his training, the other is a new puppy. I work two weeks on two weeks off. During my two weeks of work I have many on call days which allows me to be around to walk and check in on pets. I have time during my two weeks off to pet sit and be home to care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. One is 7years old and the other is a puppy full of energy. They like the play but they also like to nap. They love hikes and play time. I have two types of crates and beds if needed during the stay.
About: Ive had all kinds of pets my entire life. I've been doing rover consistently for the past 2 years. I just moved back to Thunder Bay and would love to meet you and your pets! ☺️I can walk dogs on and off leash and can even teach them a trick or two. I have a house with a fenced yard. Please let me know if your dog is aggressive because I have a small cat and a springer. Don't hesitate to reach out with any requests! I work weekend nights and I'm free all day during the week. I require at least 1 day advance notice but will make exceptions if needed! I walk my own dog daily and take her out multiple times a day ( shes very well house trained and will let me know) I spend a lot of time taking care of our animals whether that's feeding them, training them or just hanging out with them.
“A home away from home for my dogs. Stephanie and her family went above and beyond to make my dogs feel at home and loved. The videos of my dogs playing and being pet/cuddled set my mind at ease. Thanks again!”

“Anjali was awesome, made us feel super welcome and kept me updated hourly with photos and videos. Walked our pup and socialized her with her cat and other dogs on the walk. Our pup loves going to Anjali and gets very excited as we go towards their front door, I would definitely recommend Anjali!”

“Yuleizi took excellent care of my little one! Animosh can sometimes struggle with change and new people but seemed absolutely comfortable with Yuleizi and her home. I had great communication and got many pictures of my kitty. I would absolutely ask Yuleizi to watch my Ani again!”

“Trustworthy and predictable service. Every visit Jodi includes a thorough description of everything she’s done, which gives me assurance that my cat is in the right hands. Thank you for everything Jodi.”

“Madison took great care of our 2 cats while we were away! She's reliable, punctual, and a great communicator, and having her dropping in on our cats put our minds at ease. One of our cats is typically very timid, but the first time she met Madison she went to her right away for pets! I would recommend Madison to anyone and we would definitely book with her again in the future!”

About: I've been a dog owner of Labradors for the past 30 years, until recently. A few months ago I said goodbye to my boy Fletcher, and life is just not the same without a dog. I am a fairly active 52 year old who lives alone, and quietly, with a fenced yard and Vickers Park nearby. I go to my family's camp in the summer, and would like to be able to take your dog with me for a good swim and hike! My house has always been a dog house. I do love to travel, so I know what it's like to have someone care for your dogs while away, and the worries and trust that go with such a responsibility. Someday I will get another dog, but until then, I would love to welcome yours into a safe, calm, environment, with lots of love, fun and outside time. I am currently free and flexible to adapt to your dog's schedule. I am the only one in the house so I am able to be present for your dog and hang out with him or her as much as they'll let me! I have a fully fenced yard and a dog friendly 2 bedroom bungalow. One room is a spare so can be used to put crates or beds if dogs are nervous or want alone time. I will never kick a dog off my bed if they are willing to keep me company!

About: I’ve always had a passion for all pets and I love cats, I’ve had 2 pet cats and watched many neighbours and friends cats before. I love to play with them or simply be there for them to relax, I am able to clean a litter box.

About: I have cared for cats for 13 years, ever since I got my first cat when I was 6. I have experience taking care of cats of different ages, personalities, and needs. My friends, family, and coworkers have trusted me to check in on their cats, provide food and fresh water, clean litter boxes, deliver medications, give attention and playtime. I know how to make sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to changes in behaviour. I have always genuinely loved spending time with cats and caring for them!
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs—the kind where you smile just seeing one walk by. Over the years, I’ve cared for both spirited puppies and mellow senior dogs, and I’ve loved every stage in between. My parents brought home a beagle three years ago, and from teething to training, I’ve been part of his puppy journey ever since. More recently, I’ve helped care for my boss’s 11-year-old dog, Iggy, which gave me insight into the gentler pace and extra care older pups sometimes need. What makes me different? I approach every dog with curiosity—no two are the same, and I love figuring out what makes each tail wag. I’m dependable, warm, and genuinely enjoy long walks, cuddle breaks, and the little routines that make dogs feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playtime or quiet time, I adapt with heart and care. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexibility during the day to focus on pet care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, so whether it’s weekday walks, playtime breaks, or weekend visits, I’m available and ready. My weekends are completely free, so longer stays or extra attention when you’re away is no problem at all. I care for pets where they’re happiest—right at home. Whether it’s walks, visits, or overnight stays, I keep things calm, familiar, and full of love. You can count on me to follow your pet’s routine, respect your space, and give your furry friend the attention they deserve. Safe, stress-free, and always reliable.

“I booked last minute, and they were so kind and accommodating! I came into town late, but they were super understanding about it. They kept me updated about my cats even though I’m not much of a texter, and it really gave me peace of mind. Super sweet, responsive, and clearly cared about my pets, I would absolutely book again!”

“Felipe was such a huge help with watching our two cats! He sent lots of photos and they clearly loved him. He was also able to be flexible when our plans changed because of the wildfires.”

About: I’m an animal lover who has spent years caring for pets! Over the years, I have gained experience through house, dog, and cat sitting for my family and friends. These experiences have made me more comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and various care needs. I love getting outside and going for long walks which makes me a great fit for energetic dogs! I am just as suited for calmer pets who prefer quiet company! I treat each pet with genuine care to make sure they feel safe and loved while they are away from their owners. I am currently a Master’s student with a super flexible schedule! Since my coursework and research hours aren’t fixed, I am able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, or pet-setting. I spend most of my time working from home which gives me the freedom to check in on pets, take them for long walks, or stay overnight whenever needed. To foster a safe, trusted environment, I focus on keeping routines as familiar as possible for your pets. I follow owner’s instructions clearly (e .g., feeding schedules, walk times, medications) and make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and love.

“Marcy was amazing with my dogs! She walked them twice while I was out of town, which was such a huge help for me and my parents who were looking after them while I was away. She’s caring, responsible, dependable, easy to communicate with, and clearly loves what she does. Her reports were detailed, and it was awesome receiving pictures of the dogs — such a great way to know they were happy and well taken care of. I had peace of mind the whole time. Hi”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for 13 years and have experience with a variety of animals, especially dogs and cats. I’ve cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and coworkers, including feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs outside, playing with pets, delivering medications, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs. I’m currently working part-time and attending college, but I can work pet care around my commitments. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting, including overnight stays, and I’m happy to discuss specific dates and times with each pet parent. I’m reliable about keeping scheduled visits and making sure every pet receives the care, attention, and exercise they need. I take pet care seriously and make sure pets receive the same love, attention, and routine that I give my own. At home, I walk my dogs every day, scoop my cats’ litter boxes twice a day, clean their food and water dishes whenever they get dirty, and regularly brush both my cats and dogs. I also make sure they have plenty of playtime, exercise, fresh water, and attention. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I follow their normal routines and any specific instructions their owners provide. This can include feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, litter box cleaning, brushing, and providing lots of companionship. I’m comfortable caring for pets in their own homes and staying overnight when needed, and I always make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
