About: I’ve been raised around animals my entire life, and caring for pets has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve had dogs of my own, including Laszlo, Grace, and Castiel, and animals have always been an important part of my life. One thing I’ve noticed throughout my life is that animals seem to trust me very quickly. Even shy or nervous pets who are hesitant around new people will often approach me and begin warming up to me sooner than expected. About: I have cared for my own dogs most of my life and I get along with all dogs. I like to make sure that there is time for play because it is also good exercise. In addition, I have experience training my own dogs with the typically, basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, come). Training is an on going task and I will be happy to follow the rules you have already instilled in your pet. Walking is my top activity ranging from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. I have a full time job with somewhat erratic hours, so the time of the walk may need to be shifted if work goes late. That being said, check-ins will also have to be after this time. Usually 5-10 pm is a good window. I am very well organized and will make time for your pet and the care that it needs. My schedule varies from day to day but I make an effort to support all pet needs. When in clients homes, I make an effort to follow their routines and the way that they work with their pet so that the pet feels as comfortable as possible.
About: I had a dog growing up, from a puppy to 14 years old. I trained him as a puppy and took care of his daily needs. I have since rescued two dogs of my own while living in Thunder Bay. About: I've been a dog owner of Labradors for the past 30 years, until recently. A few months ago I said goodbye to my boy Fletcher, and life is just not the same without a dog. I am a fairly active 52 year old who lives alone, and quietly, with a fenced yard and Vickers Park nearby. I go to my family's camp in the summer, and would like to be able to take your dog with me for a good swim and hike! My house has always been a dog house.
