“No dog is too much for me”
My experience goes beyond simply loving dogs. I’ve worked with dogs who are fearful, reactive, anxious, elderly, disabled, energetic, nervous, independent, and everything in between. I’ve cared for dogs who need medication, dogs who need slower walks, and dogs who need someone to pay close attention to their body language and individual boundaries. I’ve learned that the best care isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s knowing when to slow down. Sometimes it’s letting a nervous dog decide when they’re ready to come closer. Sometimes it’s taking the long way home because your dog wants to sniff every single thing along the way. And sometimes it’s simply sitting on the floor beside them and letting them know they aren’t alone. What you can expect from me I’ll follow your instructions, respect your dog’s routine, and treat your home and pets with the same care I would expect from someone looking after mine. I’ll pay attention to the little things—how your dog communicates, what makes them uncomfortable, what makes them excited, and what helps them feel safe. Whether your dog wants to spend the day playing, go for a long walk, take a slow stroll, or curl up on the couch, their needs come first. Because I know what it feels like to trust someone with an animal you love. Your dog isn’t “just a dog.” They’re family. And while they’re in my care, I’ll treat them that way. 🐾❤️

Abbigayle was great with our girl Zooey during a two night booking. I was impressed with her knowledge of dogs during our initial meeting and felt she would be a good fit. The house was exactly as I left it. I feel she is a responsible and capable sitter. Glad to have connected with her!
Abbigayle was fantastic! Able to accommodate a last minute request and my dog Georgie was always excited to see her. Very responsive and will definitely book again :)

Hi! I’m Abbigayle. 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I currently work full-time at Pet Valu, so my work schedule changes from week to week. Because of that, my Rover availability can vary, but I always keep my calendar as up to date as possible and am happy to communicate about specific dates. I have two dogs of my own and understand how different every dog can be. I also have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, behaviours, ages, and needs. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need a little extra patience. Not every dog is the type to immediately run up to a stranger with their tail wagging—and that’s okay. Some need space. Some need time. Some need someone who understands that a quiet walk around the block can be just as valuable as a long adventure. I meet dogs where they are. I’m also unable to offer boarding at my own home because I have a reactive dog, but I’m more than happy to care for your pets in their own home, where they can stay comfortable in the environment they already know.

- i need to know if any medication needs to be administered or if your dog has arthritis or anything similar. i love going for runs. if your dog enjoys runs we can do runs, if your dog doesn’t like or can’t do runs please tell me! :) i care deeply about keeping your family safe and healthy. if your furry friend needs a slow paced walk, we can do that too! :) i have tons of experience with disabled dogs and seniors
