Hi my name is Marina! (Based in Thunder Bay) I’m currently a university student who is studying education I want to become a teacher and I have a love for animals and the outdoors! I have experience with both dog walking and dog sitting, including going over on certain days to let family and friends’ dogs out, feed them, and spend time with them. I am comfortable dog sitting in other people’s homes and always make sure to respect the space and routines. I am very good at learning and following each animal’s schedule, including feeding times, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care instructions. I take time to understand each dog’s personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

I care deeply about the safety and well-being of animals and always do a check-in when I arrive to make sure they have everything they need. I ensure food and water are refilled, they have access to toys and comfort, and that their basic needs are met. For dogs, I make sure they are let outside for bathroom breaks and exercise, and for cats, I clean and scoop the litter box as needed. I also take time to give attention, affection, and cuddles so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

Marina was amazing! She looked after our older dog in our home for a week, and expertly managed all our dog's needs, including multiple medications twice each day. Our pup seemed to get comfortable with her quite quickly, too. Marina also left the house in excellent shape. You wouldn't know anyone had even been here. I would recommend her for pet sitting without hesitation.
So great having Marina come to our house-trustworthy, on time, gave Max lots of attention and love and great at communicating! Would definitely hire her again!

Marina has been my favourite dog sitter for years. She provides all the care, love and cuddles my dog deserves. All feeding and care instructions are carefully followed. While my dog is always happy when I get back, he misses his favourite sitter. Never any worries when Marina is taking care of him.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I already spend a lot of time with animals in my daily life. I enjoy being active, going for walks, and spending time outdoors, so taking dogs out or caring for pets feels like a natural extension of my day. I also spend time with my own pets, playing with them, keeping them company, and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I am a university student going into my 5th of 6 years for teaching, so I am used to balancing responsibilities and managing my time well. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my routine.
