“Audrey has been very friendly and helpful from the very first meeting. All her home visits for our cat Oscar, went great, were done on time and all the instructions were followed as requested. She went out of her way to make Oscar comfortable. We are very glad to have found Audrey on Rover and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trust worthy and dependable guardian for their pets.”

About: I grew up between a farm and the city, where I was regularly in contact with a variety of animals including cats, dogs, horses, and more. By age 16, I was responsible for administering their medications and maintaining their hygiene, regardless of their size. With cats and dogs, I can teach basic commands and actively engage with them, as I am very energetic and attentive. Each animal has its own personality, and that’s why, up to now, my friends and family ask me to take care of their animals. I work remotely while studying, so I have plenty of free time . In the mornings, I have time to prepare their food and water, play with them, and then in the afternoon I usually follow the same routine or take them out to the park. I feed the animals according to the given schedule or as soon as they wake up I prepare their food and provide fresh filtered water. Afterwards, I interact with them based on their mood. I have a large park right in front of my house where I walk my cat, so if the animals are at my place, they can be active outside or rest at home. There are water fountains in the park where dogs can have fun, and a large fenced area to run around. There are also more than two veterinary clinics within walking distance if needed. If I am at the owners’ place, I follow their instructions; otherwise, I make sure their animal is well fed, comfortable, and having fun. I make sure to bring what’s necessary for outdoor walks, and I have a route I can follow for less social and shy animals that allows them to enjoy the outdoors.

“Throughout the time I was away Rojina provided regular updates, she was very patient and took good care of my cat. I could see that Nina loved Rojina and was very comfortable by the pictures I received. I highly recommend her services if you need a reliable and loving pet sitter.”

About: “5 STARS - We had to leave last minute for a family emergency, and Amanda was a lifesaver. She looked after our 1-year-old mastiff cross, Rainbow, for nearly two months and treated him like family. We got regular photo updates, and Rainbow was clearly happy and well cared for. After missing Rainbow so much, we came home to a calm, content pup like he was before. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amanda to anyone needing a reliable and caring pet sitter!“ - Audrey “5 STARS - We almost had to cancel our Christmas plans when our original pet sitter fell through last minute, but Amanda was able to step in and help. She took such good care of our cat, Charles - sent us regular updates, watered our plants, and kept the apartment clean. It made all the difference knowing he was safe and content while we were away. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book Amanda again.” - Maddie ————————————————————— Hi, I’m Amanda, a 29 year old animal lover and experienced pet sitter, now back in Canada available (full time) to care for your fur babies! Over the past two years, I’ve been traveling throughout Australia, pet sitting in cities and remote areas alike. I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including Great Pyrenees, Australian Shepherds, Mastiffs, Bull Arabs, and more. I also volunteered at a dingo rescue, where I gained experience walking, feeding, and administering oral medication to dingoes (wild Australian dogs) - a truly unforgettable part of my journey - See the photos (#2,3,4) on my profile are all dingoes! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and understand how important it is to maintain routines, provide affection, and create a calm, safe environment while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just a cozy presence around the house, I’m here to offer them the care and companionship they need. For boarding stays: Your fur baby's home away from home! 🐾 During boarding, your dog will stay with me in my family home, which features a fully fenced backyard—perfect for playtime and fresh air. There are a few other adults in the house who also love dogs and enjoy having furry guests around, but rest assured, I am the one fully responsible for your pet’s care. From daily walks to cozy downtime, your pup will receive loving, consistent attention in a safe and welcoming environment. We also live just seconds from the scenic boardwalk—ideal for peaceful, enriching walks with lots to see and sniff! References are available upon request, and I’m always happy to send regular updates to give you peace of mind. If you’re heading away this summer and need someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about animals - I’d love to help! Pet care is currently my full-time priority, with 24/7 availability. It’s part of my daily routine, and I look forward to giving your fur-babies my full attention I am aware that it’s very nerve-racking to leave your pets with a stranger but I will be sure to be as communicative as you would like, including photos/videos of your pets during my visit. I provide a comfortable, calm and relaxed energy for your pets.

“i was more than happy to leave my dog with Emma. Using Rover was my first time and leaving my dog for the first time was stressful. She was really kind, professional and reassuring Thank you”

About: I’ve had cats and kittens all the time since I was 3 years old, along with other pets, including rabbits and chicks. My parents had a house in the mountains. Whenever we visited over the summer, I used to take care of my neighbor’s dog. It was always a thrill taking her for a walk every day. If she ever runs away from home, I would go after her and make sure she was okay before taking her back to her owners. Animals warm up to me, and I am very fond of them. I hope to be a veterinarian someday. The wellbeing and happiness of animals is very important to me. Seeing them well taken care of brings me joy and comfort, and it would be an honor to provide that care. I recently graduated from dawson college, and I will start Mcgill in the fall. I should be available any day, any time, until the Fall when my schedule will change depending on my classes. I would rather take care of your pet in your home. I am very trustworthy, so you don’t need to worry about your belongings while I’m at your place. I will only be inside for the duration needed to get the job done. I will document my time with your pet so your mind is at ease <3

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine, lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience. I’ve had a Yorkshire Terrier named Cachou since I was 10 years old, and I personally trained him to sit, wait, walk politely on leash, give his paw, and more. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to feel your pet is in good hands, and I’m here to offer just that. Right now, I work a 9–5 during the week, so I’m available for walks and in-home sitting on weekends or evenings. During the rest of the year, I’m a student, which means my schedule becomes much more flexible making it perfect for daytime visits, walks, and extended care. No matter the time of year, I’m committed to fitting pet care into my routine with consistency, patience, and love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I take the time to get to know their habits, energy level, and preferences, whether that means going for a long walk, playing with their favorite toy, or giving them space to relax. I also give a lot of updates to keep you updated!

About: Dogs have been my greatest teachers. Growing up, I subscribed to every dog-related magazine, I watched -potentially- all dog documentaries on Animal Planet and Nat Geo, I learned about the most popular dog breeds at the time, I dreamed of having a dog shelter and rescue all the street dogs in my city. While studying for my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in neuropsychology, my most curious and odd academic interest was canine cognition, to the point that I’ve read books about their evolution, cognition and genetics. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, and from an early age I learned to love them and respect them as part of the family without leaving aside their nature. I love them for their animal nature, but I understand and appreciate the huge impact of our human nurture on them. Nowadays, a simple gaze from them can make me fall in love instantly, and I treat each and every dog I meet the same way I treat my dogs back home whenever I have the fortune to go to Colombia to spend time with them. I am a newcomer to Canada, even though I’ve been visiting on and off for a year, I can finally work as a resident, and I hope to find a job that suits me. But in the meantime, I have full availability for any pet sitting opportunity that may arise. The most important thing for me, is to adapt to what the owners expect. Every dog is different and nobody knows that better than the owners, so I’ll use their guidance to adapt effectively. However, there are a few aspects that I find more sensitive and relevant when taking care of any dog: - their diet: respecting the owner’s choice to feed them with the products and schedules that they consider appropriate. - safety when going on walks: always having them on a leash and keeping the socialization in accordance to the owner’s preference as well as the dog’s personality. - attention to detail: in an attempt to understand the messages that the dogs send us constantly through body language to identify their specific needs. - leisure: playing with toys, treats hide & seek, sniffing tours when on walks, petting them when and where necessary. All this to allow them to stimulate their senses and their cognition and reduce stress and boredom.

About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals and love and respect them deeply. We’ve had family fish, dogs growing up and adopted a cat later on, all of whom I’ve cared for. I have experience caring for my elderly, disabled dog Wesley. I also spent my younger years working on a farm with horses. Currently, I am the proud owner of a 3 year old bunny named Buttons. I am open to caring for exotic pets as well as cats and dogs. I love meeting new animal friends and can’t wait to meet yours! As a substitute teacher, I am not working through the summer and have a very flexible schedule throughout the year that is easy to adapt. Every home and every animal is unique - I place lots of importance on ensuring I am following the owners requests to the best of my ability to maintain a comfortable, safe, care-filled experience for the animal and owner alike.

About: Hello Everyone, My entire life I lived in a house where a dog was present! Learned how to be caring from my dogs. I used to have a dog that was a mix of St-Bernard & Australian Sheppard and before that I had a Golden Retriever which unfortunately both passed away. Having a dog around, motivates me and makes me a better person. I for sure like dogs more than I like humans. In a world where dogs need help or be loved why not more and more people rescue them? I have walked dogs of underprivileged families for free while they were at work in Turkey. If you want a friend for your dog I am here and will make sure that your best friends/children are very well taken care of. Tal I work remotely and can take breaks whenever I need. I enjoy taking walks every 2-3 hours in my neighbourhood anyways so I can make sure the pet is not alone and feels that they are cared for. I have a big living space in my house for the pets to feel somewhat free. I like minimalist interior design, therefore there isn't much for the pet to destroy or harm themselves even when I am not around. I also make sure that there is sufficient air flow and make sure that the weather (pavement) isn't extremely hot before walking the dog.

“Hamed is an excellent dog sitter. You can tell that he is passionate with dogs by the way he interacted with Bambi, our 11 months old puppy. He took extra time to train her and played with her, and kept me posted throughout the weekend with daily updates and photos. Will definitely use his services again !”

“Pamela is such a sweetheart. She's done doggy daycare for me in the past, but this time she stopped by to check in on my cat while I was out of town with the dog. She took photos to let me know my request for litter cleaning was complete and that my cat was doing well. She also left a very nice note for me for when I got home. Will definitely be booking her again for both my dog and cat!”

Tyler H.
“Tyler is truly the best pet caregiver we could ask for! She is one of the most loving and gentle people I have ever met and she has always taken the upmost care of our Frenchbull dog. Even though our little sweetie pie is a total handful, Tyler knows exactly how to handle him! She always keeps us updated when she is caring for our pup and he is so excited to see her whenever they reunite! We can’t thank her enough for all her help over the years and know she will give the same high standard of love and care for any other animal she pet sits!”

Tal Armand A.
“I can’t recommend Tal enough! He is such a caring person which, gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in such loving and responsible hands. From the regular updates and photos to the thoughtful little touches (like extra playtime and making sure everything at home was just right), everything was handled with care. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog who was clearly well-loved. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, warm, and genuinely great with animals, Tal is it.”
