“Thank you for taking such good care of Turbo! He was happy and relaxed all evening after - it’s great to know you are in the area. Much appreciated.”

“Nikol was very pleasant and quick to return messages. I was kept updated as to how our dog was acclimating which made leaving him less stressful. Nice property set back in the woods which is great for walking. Very accommodating for drop off and pick up times. We will use Nikol’s services again!”

“Dropped off my dog for a couple hours. We’re not from the area and wanted to meet family for a lunch. We picked him up, happy as could be! It’s hard to leave your dog with strangers, but they asked good questions and made me feel comfortable. They had a big property and took our dog for a walk almost right away. Would highly recommend, and if in the area will use again! Thank you so much!”

About: I lived on a farm with plenty of animals all my life until recently. Animal chores were apart of my daily routine and I loved every minute of it. Before my studies begin in September I am available full time to provide services for varying animals. I have experience boarding, dog walking and providing drop in care. I would love to get to know your furry friend and provide the best care possible to ease your mind while you are away from home! I am currently off for the summer so I am available 7 days a week to provide pet care until I return to school in September. I have a 5 year old daughter who loves to spend time with animals. We go on frequent walks to occupy our time and would love to take your pet with us!

About: I grew up with many pets in my house - 3 dogs and 2 cats! I went for daily walks with the dogs in my local ravine growing up. Each dog having it's own very unique personality and quirks provided me with a breadth of experience. I believe obedience and rules are the foundation of a well behaved dog. As well, a well exercised dog is a well behaved dog. Structure is very important and I will always make a dog work for their treat. I try to continue any on-going training for the dogs I am walking or sitting. I was finally able to get my own dog as an adult - who I have had since 2021. I rescued my dog, Arlo, when he was ~4 months, and have given him a loving home since! I worked with a trainer when I got to him and learned a lot about dog (and human) behaviours. I am home during the days with a flexible schedule, so walks at any time of the day can work. Generally a morning, lunchtime, or late afternoon walk are the preferred times. I currently have daily mid-day regulars that I walk. Depending on the dogs personality and suitability with other dogs, I walk with a pack or individually. If a dog is staying with me, I take them on a walk first thing if their owner hasn't already done so. This way, they are starting on the best foot forward. I have a dog at home, so I do an intro of the dogs on 'neutral' territory, there is a laneway and Bruce trail across from so I ask that their owner does a quick walk with the dogs and myself. I do potty breaks every 0-2 hours, either to go on a short walk, or ball throw. I also do 5-10 minute training sessions to keep the dogs entertained and stimulated. I also ask that the dogs bed and an article of clothing of the owners comes with them, so they have a space that is their own and familiar. This will help the dog settle in. Favourite toys or treats are also recommended.

About: I have owned and lived with dogs, and cats for the past 10 years. My current dog is high energy and we'll titled. I'm happy to work with puppies, and provide a little anxiety relief to your pets. Looking for someone to take your dog out while your on a long shift, longer walks than your able, or social/training enriched walks, I'm able to help. I grew up on a hobby farm and am more then happy to spend time with ducks, chickens, rabbits etc. I currently work full time from home, if you have wifi I can be there all day. I have a dog as well, he can come for social play dates, or stay home. For longer stay, my furbaby can come along for doggy socialization or I can alternate on a plan that works for both of us. Dogs love routine, keeping to their routine is safest. I practice positive reinforcement for pets. For dogs who pull on walks ii prefer a harness, it's safer for us and them, and have plenty of dual clip leashes to work on heeling with them.

About: I grew up in a horse farm, and have tonnes of years of experience dog and horse farm sitting for many years. I have experience with rescue horses and dogs as well. I love being outdoors and going for walks and hikes. I work from home and I have my dog, Ty. I take hike for at least 3 walks a day, and have a small fenced in yard. They have free-range of the house, small fenced in yard, and I do have the ability to seperate dogs for feeding/sleeping if that is a concern. My dog is not food aggressive but I know many can be. There is room for a crate, although I do not provide one as my dog doesnt use them.

“Rachel and Robert were phenomenal! They took our babies in last minute, gave them a super fun day where they got to meet new friends and took amazing care of them and were friendly, easy going, and great communication! Doggies had lots of room to play and hand off was easy and perfect! So so so appreciate them! ?”

“Great experience. Nicole was great to communicate with and very good with my dog. Highly recommend.”

“Ashley was so great with my dog Cas! I had a late cancellation and needed a sitter fast! Ashley replied right away! she kept me updated on my dog while he was in her care, which was a huge relief to me. I’ve never left my dog with anyone but family before and I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog will be with her and her furry babies all day! I completely recommend her as your fur baby’s sitter. If you’re looking for kind, knowledgeable and a supportive caretaker and friend for your furry family member than look no further than this Great gal!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life and now that I'm retired I have extra time and love to share. I back onto a green belt and have a large back yard. I have a large outdoor dog run. I don't have a fenced yard but that's ok cuz your dog will never be alone if in my care. I'm strong & healthy and I love to walk. I have experience with large breeds (German Shepard, Mastiff, Leonburger). I can't wait to make friends with your furry baby. I have a health care degree and my basic knowledge carries over to make me comfortable in an emergency. All of my dogs over the years were trained with all the basics...heel, stay, come, sit, down, quiet, etc. I think it's good for any dog to know who's in control so long as it's done with kindness. I'm retired and ready for whatever life throws at me. I'm up for 3 hour long walks per day if my companion is. My aim is to be flexible. My home is my visiting pets home. The house is clean and sanitized between visitors. There isn't anything harmful left out that a pet could get into. While in my care the visiting pet has all my attention.

“Agnes & Donald took care of Luma for two days during our stay in Bruce Peninsula area . Luma is a very high energy dog and demands lots of attention and exercise. She had so much fun during her stay and she was really calm at the end of the day. We could enjoy our trip with peace of mind knowing she was in safe hands. Thanks so much Agnes & Donald for everything! Agnes & Donald are really nice prople! Highly recommended.”

About: Dogs are family, I love and care for them accordingly. I have been privileged to always have dogs in my life, the more the merrier! I have taken a month of work to do home renovations! Now that the renovations are nearing a finish I have ample time for dog walks, play and care! Having a high energy pup myself, we keep very active. I live a active lifestyle and tend to stick to activities that are dog friendly! I am a nature enthusiast and lucky to live very close to a beautiful trail system that we use multiple times a day. Long walks makes home base that much sweeter to relax, play and eat!

“So happy that we came across this great App otherwise we wouldn't of known about Jessica. We feel very comforted knowing that our fur babies are being well taken care of. Thank you Jessica. We look forward to our vacation now knowing we won't have to worry about Holly & Sky.”

“Ruth did above and beyond! Clean nice home and very nice dogs as well:) I will most definitely go back!”

About: I am currently taking the dog training course. I am 31. I live in an apartment. I have 1 puppy. I am a psw and care aid. And I’ve decided to become a trainer, groomer, sitter and dog walker. I train them most of my day and spend time with them Until they fall asleep. I have full time availability. I always have my pets On a leash when outside. I also take them for lots of walks and I go to the dog park a lot.

About: Experienced pet care professional with experience of raising dogs from the young age of 25 days.Comfortable with all dog sizes and breeds!!! A huge dog lover myself!! Pet care fits comfortably in my routine as I’m a student with just one online class every week. There are no other pets in the house. Previously a pet sitter in the Kitchener\Waterloo region. Have recently moved to Thronbury and looking forward to meet some new furry friends here!! 24/7 pet supervison and updates will be provided if requested.

About: We adopted our dog Serge (a Rottweiler/St Bernard/Bernese mix) three years ago. We absolutely adore him, and he us! We both grew up with dogs (boxers, golden retrievers, and mutts). We both work full time remotely. Serge gets a minimum 5k walk daily - he's very spoilt! We can cater for older dogs/dogs that cannot walk very much, as well, this is no issue. We would ensure your dog is loved and well exercised and never left alone. Your dog would need to get along with Serge. We live in the countryside next to Lake Huron so in the summer your dog can go for swims or walks on the Bruce Trail. If you'd like us to house-sit, we would need to be able to bring Serge with us to your house.

Aaron & Julia S.
“Aaron and his parents have had dogs, usually 2 boxers, all the time he was growing up. He and his partner, Julia, adopted Serge, a boxer mix, when they came to Canada from London, England. Both of them are careful to have Serge on a leash until he becomes familiar with other dogs. They have been to my place several times and watched closely while Serge and my small breed dog, and 2 cats, got used to each other. We were at a family get together on Canada Day weekend for 2 days with about 20 adults, 15 young children and 3 other dogs - 2 fairly big and my small one. Aaron and Julia kept Serge near them most of the time and then once the dogs became familiar, let him play with the others but were always out in the yard with them. They would be excellent dog sitters!”
