“Brita was easy to communicate with before and during the sit which made making arrangements super easy. Her pet care was great and we got daily pics of our dogs. She left the place in immaculate condition and our pets are calm and clearly cared for.”

“We are very happy with our experience with Leah. We came home to happy pups and our house was as tidy as we left it. She sent us pics while we were away which relieves anxiety of leaving your pups at home. We will definitely ask Leah to watch our dogs again in the future!”

“Lindsay was amazing and our pets were well loved and cared for in our absence. I would highly recommend her and we will have her back for more overnight stays in the near future. Thanks so much Lindsay for the care you took with Georgie and Lucy!”

“Miriam is wonderful! I cannot say enough positive things about Miriam……we could not believe it when our dogs barely got excited to see us when we returned. I can’t wait to go away again without our girls and legs them have a holiday with Miriam!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with our pups! She kept us updated with messages and photos, so we always knew they were happy and well cared for. Communication was super easy—she responded quickly and even set up a meet-and-greet without any hassle. When we got home, the house was spotless and the dogs were relaxed and well-loved. We’d absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Kevin came and met our dogs a few times before dog/house sitting. He showed a genuine interest and liking to each of them. He took notes to make sure he remembered the important things. While away he sent multiple updates, pictures and videos illustrating his interaction with them. It sure eased any anxiety of leaving them. Would highly recommend Kevin to care for home and your dogs.”

“Julia was a fantastic pet sitter. Our three dogs loved her, she played with them and sent many updates, pictures and videos. She took very good care of our home and left everything very neat and tidy. I couldn’t have asked for more from her. I was totally at ease being away from my dogs as they were in perfect hands. Thank you so much Julia!!”

“Rilyn stayed with our dog for two weeks while we away and we came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a spotless house. Her communication was excellent and always prompt. Highly, highly recommend!!”

About: I will only have 7 days ready for booking at this time. I am unsure of my upcoming work schedule and don’t want to book and have to cancel. This way, I can commit and follow through for you with no interruptions! I have always been an animal lover, with my work, and hobbies somehow always becoming intertwined. I started the first dog park in a small community in northern BC, managed a pet store, dabbled in positive reinforcement dog training, and ran a pet store a few years back. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and rabbits (yes, you’ve read that correctly) I have many years experience with rats, including teaching them tricks as well! I have a 5 year old dog named Rosie and cat named Fang (both rescues). I spend lots of time going to different dog parks or walks out of town to make sure my girl is well socialized and exercised. I’ll make sure to get your animals on time and they will have my undivided attention. I’m a firm believer when I’m with my animals or yours that my attention isn’t taken my cell phones or any other distractions that would take away from your fur baby. I have time and I love being outside, so why not enjoy with some more company :) Right now, I am available 7 days a week while I wait to get called back out to work. I do have a commitment Sunday between 5-8pm but other than that I am readily available. Your pets safety is my number 1 priority. Your pup will always be on leash and separated from other animals unless you have expressed and given permission to do otherwise, such as going to a dog park that is fenced in. I have a large SUV to transport your dogs safely to and from the dog park if that’s how you would prefer their time spent. We can spend some time talking about your animals needs and make sure we are a good fit first.

“Libby was great with my giant but shy dog. She updated me regularly, took great care of my house and was responsive to messages quickly. My dog was well taken care of and kept company and I had great peace of mind leaving him in her hands.”

I have a fenced yard, and live close to a large park, dog park, and dog-friendly beach. I also regularly drive away from town for hikes. Outdoor exercise & enrichment is a priority for us and we'd love to share that with your pets.

“Trish took amazing care of our fur babies. She was very flexible when we were delayed with our flight coming home. It was nice getting regular updates on how they were doing too. We highly recommend her to care for your pets and your home.”

About: I've always had a love for dogs. Many people have trusted me with their pets because of my caring nature and adaptability to any situation. I live and work at home. I am lucky that I can work anywhere in BC on my laptop. I have my own vehicle so it's easy to move around whenever I need. My husband and I own our home. We have a beautiful big fenced backyard. I live in a lovely, safe community with parks nearby. I don't have any pets of my own, but I love dogs so it would be wonderful to get to care for one.
About: Multiple occasions feeding, watching and taking care of a cat for my neighbour or my family’s cats or dogs throughout many years so I’d like to think I understand them quite well. During the week I am a Student at Thompson Rivers University, so from 8:30am until 2:30pm on Tuesday through Friday I’ll be unavailable, however I’m able to work once my school is complete on those days. However, I can work on Saturday through Monday and have full availability. I care about the safety and comfort of the pet I’ll be looking after. First I’ll do a meet and greet to learn your pets specific diet and routine. Then once in your home, I’ll pay attention to ensure all the gates or doors are secured. For the process of walking your dog, first I’ll keep them leashed, and I’ll watch their body language to see if they’re in pain or if they’re feeling some sort of concern. I’ll check their paws and body to see if they’re injury free. Beyond the basic needs I’ll send you regular updates and or videos of your pet to keep you updated.
“Sydney was an amazing sitter for our boy Remy 😻 Going away for the weekend was no worries, she sent pictures, had great communication and left our place clean and organized. Grateful for her services!!”

Kamloops pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is the first time that we have had someone stay with our dogs other than family and Miriam was amazing! She took great care of our pups and my chickens! We appreciated her love for senior dogs (our oldest GSD will be 13 this summer) and our high energy 4 year old GSD. Can’t say enough great things! Between the updates and pictures we knew they were in great hands. Would 100% recommend.

Elizabeth is lovely. Cosmo and Newman were very contented when we arrived home. Elizabeth fed, groomed, cleaned litter boxes, played with them and sent pictures. The house was tidy and cared for. Elizabeth was readily available on text and met all of our expectations! I would highly recommend Elizabeth!
Kyra and Atlas were wonderful. She was an excellent house sitter, looking after the house and all the critters. Morrissey and Miss Kitten Kaboodle were both very happy! Morrissey and Atlas were able to play lots. She was very patient with all my different requests and quirks of our home. I would recommend her to others for sure!
