I had high hopes for Angela’s services, especially since she was flexible and accommodating at the start. We both adjusted to changes in scheduling for our meet and greet, and I was able to alter my travel plans to drop my dog off later than initially planned. However, I am concerned about Angela’s ability—or willingness—to provide the level of physical activity that a high-energy dog requires. My dog is a herding breed, and when his exercise needs aren’t met, it becomes nearly impossible for him to settle. This often results in him becoming highly distressed, agitated, and more prone to react to stressors, which unfortunately led to some challenging behavior. Angela did her best by asking questions and trying to support him, but without sufficient exercise, even basic commands became difficult for him to follow. The situation escalated to the point where I was asked to pick him up immediately, which was incredibly distressing for both of us. Knowing that I couldn’t get there right away, and that it would be a long drive in the middle of the night, only added to the stress. When I finally arrived, I found her boyfriend in the background, trying to look intimidating, which only made things more uncomfortable. Overall, it was a tough experience, and I’m grateful I was able to get my dog out of the situation, which was stressful for both him and Angela. While Angela seems like a caring person, I don’t believe her services are well-suited for dogs with high energy levels and specific exercise needs, like my herding breed. I struggled with writing this review, but I felt it was important to share my experience to help others make an informed decision.
