About: After having a family dog for all my life, through her infancy and senior years, I can help you through any stage of your pups life. I have dog-sat others young dogs and older ones with joy. I love talking them on walks and giving baths if they require/enjoy. Patience and working with the personality of an animal are two key skills I excel at. I will meet your pet where they are at with love. I am able to check in on your pet, go for walks, and house sit consistently any day of the week. I am a full time student at TRU in the fall and winter. I have open availability in the summer :) In my clients homes, I uphold professionalism and respect. I arrive with enthusiasm and give my full attention and care to dogs and cats. I care for pets by ensuring they have been fed as per their regime, and have clean, fresh water. I play with the pet(s) and give them looots of love and attention. I ensure they will be walked often and given outside time if they are permitted, either in a backyard, around the block, or on a short hike locally if you and your pet is comfortable with that. I believe it is also important to have a clean environment for any animal, so ensure that it is clean and well kept with all favourite toys available and any messes cleaned up.

About: As a dog and cat mom myself, I know first hand how difficult it can be to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and nurturing to care for one’s pets. I am dedicated to alleviating that worry and stress by providing professional, compassionate, high quality care when pet parents can’t be there.
A former vet tech, I am especially perceptive and attuned to a pet’s medical needs, understand and adhere to veterinary instructions, and am trained to observe changes in an animal’s physical condition. I am also insured, licensed and bonded, and trained in Pet First Aid. 
In addition, I am a certified dog walker through the dog*tec Dog Walking Academy. The only program of its kind for dog walkers, this widely respected program covers a comprehensive array of topics critical to professional dog walking, including canine behaviour, basic training predicated on positive reinforcement, management, and First Aid and safety protocols.
I have been a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner for 2 years. I offer positive reinforcement training such as clicker training, loose leash walking, go to mat, recall, name recognition, sit, stay, leave it, reorient towards handler when crossing threshold (i.e. going through doorway). 
I also offer potty training advice and how to manage puppy biting. Hint: puppy biting is normal as they learn to explore their world. I provide tips and advice on how to help get through this sometimes scary, yet normal puppy development stage. 🤗 Currently available weekdays of dog walks. Currently available weekdays and weekends for drop in cat care. I have my own dog and cats and know that pets thrive on routine and consistency. I arrive for visits as scheduled. Happy greetings for dogs and cats. Dog walking: harnessed/leashed and depart for our walk. Arrival back home: take walking gear (harness/leash) off, refresh water, play or TLC time. Cat drop in visits: feeding and refresh water, give meds if applicable, scoop litter boxes. Then playtime or quiet time depending on cat’s preference.

About: I LOVE dog/cat sitting. My friends and family know this, and are always super excited when I can come over and help out. I’ll love your pets like they were my own <3 I am a student up until 4, but then my schedule is wide open for your pet care. Plus during the summer, there isn’t a day that doesn’t work out :) There is no ask too big or too small. About: I love animals and adventuring so I will be more than happy taking your best friend wherever they want to go. I have grown up with pets; dogs, cats and rabbits. My cat was adopted from the SPCA with several challenges and special needs but I did not see that as a barrier to his care or need for love, I feel all animals are precious. I have knowledge in canine first aid and am well versed in safe walking guidelines. I am very flexible, so if your pet has anywhere in particular they like to visit let me know! I believe it is important to take each animal’s individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy all kinds of activities from walks around the block to lengthy hikes but will also sit and spend quality time with your fur baby if that is what they need. I am reliable, organized and committed to provide the best care for your four legged family member. I am a University student who is currently off for the summer months. I am available for drop-in visits, play dates and walks both days and evenings, 7 days a week. When pet sitting in someone else’s home, I feel it is important to follow the owner’s instructions carefully and respect their house rules and provide compassionate care to their pets. I strive to keep the environment clean, monitor pets health and communicate regularly with the owners effectively. I hope to share some quality time with your pet soon!

About: I grew up with both cats, dogs, as well as some farm animals! I have owned dogs since graduating high school and have cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I have been a pet sitter on many occasions, sometimes for up to 2 weeks. I'm currently enrolled in university, which is primarily delivered online. This means that I have a lot of time to play with your pet and give them the care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced yard and am located in a neighbourhood with easy access to trails. We have one dog in our house, a friendly 2 year old sharpei who has never met a pet she doesn't like.

About: My love for dog stems from when I was a wee little girl. I used to walk the dogs at my parents boat slip! They would ask "where is Jenna?" and see me petting and walking all the dogs! I got my first dog at 12 and was inlove with these furry little creatures ever since. I also foster and train rescue dogs and specialize in positive reinforcement. I believe all dogs are good dogs and deserve a loving environment to flourish. I have a flexible schedule at work as I work 90 percent from home so I have lots of availability during the week and on weekends. I have a fenced yard, dog friendly neighborhood with lots of trails and a very friendly 7 year old rescue who loves all dogs to help your dog feel at ease.

About: Previous to Rover, I've had a private house sitting gig that takes place for days/weeks at a time several times throughout the year. I have previous experience fostering dogs of all sizes (including a dachshund, a husky with a broken front leg, a German Shephard with intestinal ailments, and an anxious chihuahua!) My roommates and I have taken in a cat, and a dog (bernadoodle) in the past year. Not to mention growing up I had a sheltie and a husky. I look forward to getting to know your pets and help provide them with a more fulfilled life! I wish this App had existed so that my childhood pets would have been able to enjoy the extra company, attention and all the additional excercise! I have a job that is work from home based that allows me to work from anywhere. I spend some time every other day out in the field, at my own discretion. This allows me plenty of flexibility when it comes to caring for your pet! I live in a basement suite of a house that doesn't allow pets sadly. Sending your pet to me probably won't work, but I'm happy to meet your out where they are and take them for walks, and give them the care they need.
