About: I have plenty of experience housesitting for friends and looking after my own doggies. I love gardening and endeavour to keep plants happy. I like keeping my environment clean and tidy, and am more than happy to run any errands that are required in the owner's absence (e.g. scheduled grooming for pets, routine checkups, putting bins out etc.). I have volunteered with DRU (local animal shelter) in the past as part of the bird and chicken team - poultry are full on! This gave me more experience in administering medication (to peacocks!), cleaning animals and identifying any issues, and cleaning out pens and enclosures. I’m currently housesitting in Kamloops - I am available for morning and afternoon check ins and walks on weekdays and weekends, as I work remotely on weekdays between 7pm and 11pm. I try to make sure pets keep to their routines! Having their families go away is stressful enough. I like to have a fair amount of info on your pets behaviours, routines, and things they like to do so they can be as comfortable as can be in your absence.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I raised my Labrador retriever from 8 weeks old, so I thrive taking care of dogs who need loving boundaries and lots of stimulation. I recently lost my cat after 9 years, so I would love to snuggle yours! My dog doesn’t stay with me full time, so I have lots of space for yours. I work from home part time, so I have a flexible schedule for drop ins and your pet will have lots of company while house-sitting or boarding :) I have a vehicle so I can safely transport animals for outings. I will follow your instructions exactly and get to know your pet’s needs and routine. If house-sitting, I am happy to take care of plants too! My home is near many walking trails in Peterson Creek park.

About: Pet lover living in a pet-free apartment. I grew up with dogs & I miss being around them. I have experience with small, medium & large dogs, from puppies to seniors. Although I care for my friends’ pets when they need me, I would love to match up with more dog owners in my own neighborhood. I’m available all day Mondays & Tuesdays, plus evenings after 7pm. (I’m a night owl, so I have no problem with walking later in the evening!) I have had basic dog walking safety instilled in me since I was a child. I understand the importance of trusting the person you leave your pets to, and although it’s a fun job, I don’t take it lightly.

I have my level one first aid as well as animal first aid training. I can provided medication both oral and injectable. My schedule is flexable so I can be available whenever you and your pet would need my services. Big, small, furry or scaled it's all the same to me. I am here to help however I can. About: After having a family dog for all my life, through her infancy and senior years, I can help you through any stage of your pups life. I have dog-sat others young dogs and older ones with joy. I love talking them on walks and giving baths if they require/enjoy. Patience and working with the personality of an animal are two key skills I excel at. I will meet your pet where they are at with love. I’m currently working part-time on the weekends and would be out of the house in the mornings for up to 8 hours max. I ensure to walk dogs before leaving for my shift and usually get off work around 2:30. During weekdays, I have classes for a few hours max. With pet care I prioritize my time to be spent with your creature and ensure it gets good care, attention, and love. In the summer, I will be working full-time but am still happy to care for your animal if they are okay with some time spent alone. In my clients homes, I uphold professionalism and respect. I arrive with enthusiasm and give my full attention and care to dogs and cats. I care for pets by ensuring they have been fed as per their regime, and have clean, fresh water. I play with the pet(s) and give them looots of love and attention. I ensure they will be walked often and given outside time if they are permitted, either in a backyard, around the block, or on a short hike locally if you and your pet is comfortable with that. I believe it is also important to have a clean environment for any animal, so ensure that it is clean and well kept with all favourite toys available and any messes cleaned up.

About: Previous to Rover, I've had a private house sitting gig that takes place for days/weeks at a time several times throughout the year. I have previous experience fostering dogs of all sizes (including a dachshund, a husky with a broken front leg, a German Shephard with intestinal ailments, and an anxious chihuahua!) My roommates and I have taken in a cat, and a dog (bernadoodle) in the past year. Not to mention growing up I had a sheltie and a husky. I look forward to getting to know your pets and help provide them with a more fulfilled life! I wish this App had existed so that my childhood pets would have been able to enjoy the extra company, attention and all the additional excercise! I have a job that is work from home based that allows me to work from anywhere. I spend some time every other day out in the field, at my own discretion. This allows me plenty of flexibility when it comes to caring for your pet! I live in a basement suite of a house that doesn't allow pets sadly. Sending your pet to me probably won't work, but I'm happy to meet your out where they are and take them for walks, and give them the care they need.

About: My partner and I LOVE cats and dogs so Rover seems like a dream to us! My partner grew up with dogs and now we have a sweet cat Tarzan who is our whole world and we just recently got him a little brother, Sully who is just a bundle of love and energy. We would love to meet and play with your little fur babies because we know how important they are ♥️ We’re super comfortable around cats and dogs and would love to check in/ play/ walk or look after your pets! We also have experience giving medications to pets if needed! About: I love animals and adventuring so I will be more than happy taking your best friend wherever they want to go. I have grown up with pets; dogs, cats and rabbits. My cat was adopted from the SPCA with several challenges and special needs but I did not see that as a barrier to his care or need for love, I feel all animals are precious.
