About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with dogs and am currently the proud owner of a 3 year old German Sheperd/Husky/Lab Mix. Through raising and caring for my own dog, i've gained valuable experience with daily care, exercise and enrichment. My dog is fearful and behaviourally sensitive, which has taught me the importance of patience, reading canine body language, respecting boundaries, and building trust at each dog's pace. I understand that every dog has unique needs and personalities, and I'm committed to providing calm, compassionate care tailored to them. About: I have experience taking care of senior dogs all the way down to puppies and everything in between! I am good with dogs of all sizes and energy levels I work full time from 8-4:30 but am often out and about with the ability to pop by and check on your animals. My weekends are free barring some on call requirements (please ask me about this to work around your schedule) and so are my evenings for more of your pet care needs! I am always careful with everyone pets, treating them like my own furry family. So I will take care of them with upmost care! I ask lots of question to make sure I provide the best care possible. I love to hang out and get to know your pets, or if they need I will take them out on a long walk!

About: I have a dog named Kali who’s a German shepherd/Border collie mix and I’m definitely well-versed when it comes to active dogs, but I also have a very chill cat named Nutmeg who enjoys cuddling and eating, so it’s safe to say I can do both 😅 my dog and I are always finding new hiking trails, but also like coming back home to relax and I definitely use that to help me match the energy of pets that are in my care! If your pet is energetic, calm, or both, I’ll find a way to adapt to what they need so you can feel rest assured that they’ll be safe and happy. I wake up early and spend lots of my free time outdoors, so I’d love to bring your pet along with me or come around to check in on them for you 🌿 I try to stay calm around my dog and other dogs as much as possible as I believe this builds trust and creates a sense of safety. My priority is to make sure they’re comfortable, have water, food, some treats and that they’re able to go outside for bathroom breaks! Ps. I’ll take cute photos for you 🐶🐱

About: I have been a devoted caretaker of pets for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats of all temperaments, and more. I don’t shy away from pets with special needs or that require special attention. I’m experienced with senior care as well as administering medications. I also have experience with puppies and kittens whom require patience and routine. Petsitting and House-sitting is my full time occupation, and I have availability any time of day on most days out of the week — excluding any previous appointments. Safety of your pet is my highest priority. I am experienced with reading animal body language and know when signals are being given to communicate your pets needs. I have a medium sized dogs who is very friendly with both dogs and cats, and is exceptionally respectful of space when it comes to cats. She will accompany me on overnight stays at your home as well as on daily walks with your pup (unless requested otherwise). As for boarding services, I have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for your pet to feel at home.

 A former vet tech, I am especially perceptive and attuned to a pet’s medical needs, understand and adhere to veterinary instructions, and am trained to observe changes in an animal’s physical condition. I am also insured, licensed and bonded, and trained in Pet First Aid. 
 In addition, I am a certified dog walker through the dog*tec Dog Walking Academy. The only program of its kind for dog walkers, this widely respected program covers a comprehensive array of topics critical to professional dog walking, including canine behaviour, basic training predicated on positive reinforcement, management, and First Aid and safety protocols.
 I have been a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner for 4 years. I offer positive reinforcement training such as clicker training, loose leash walking, go to mat, recall, name recognition, sit, stay, leave it, reorient towards handler when crossing threshold (i.e. going through doorway). 
 I also offer potty training advice and how to manage puppy biting. Hint: puppy biting is normal as they learn to explore their world. I provide tips and advice on how to help get through this sometimes scary, yet normal puppy development stage. 🤗 Currently available weekdays of dog walks. Currently available weekdays and weekends for drop in cat care. I have my own dog and cats and know that pets thrive on routine and consistency. I arrive for visits as scheduled. Happy greetings for dogs and cats. Dog walking: harnessed/leashed and depart for our walk. Arrival back home: take walking gear (harness/leash) off, refresh water, play or TLC time. Cat drop in visits: feeding and refresh water, give meds if applicable, scoop litter boxes. Then playtime or quiet time depending on cat’s preference.

About: I am very active and walk 4-8km almost everyday, plus hikes in fun locations on many weekends! I would love to have your pup join me for some adventures! I work from home, but find I can definitely focus better when not at home! If you have a wi-fi connection, I'm happy to make your home my office for a few hours and keep your pets company. (of course with many work breaks for pets!) I walk from my Sahali home most weekday mornings, I'm happy to pick-up from my neighborhood, or you can drop your pup to me on your way to work (I'm more flexible at the end of the walk to drive them home!) I am training for some ambitious summer goals and will be adding more time and distance, so I might also be able to accommodate walks at other times of day as well. Reach out and let me know what you're looking for! I also love getting out for hikes on a lot of weekends if you have a pup that likes longer adventures. For pet visits, I'm happy to work from your home with a wifi connection and keep your pet company during the day. The easiest times for me to do this are within school hours (10am-3pm) I'm always aware of the environment and watching for wildlife or other dogs on the trails. I want to make sure your dog as well as other trail users we meet are comfortable on their walk! I'm happy to learn your dog or cats specific needs and adapt my routine or plan to make sure they are safe and happy.
