About: I grew up with dogs all my life and I helped two of my dogs with 4 deliveries of puppies. The reason I wanted to have puppies was for the legacy and I kept two from the litters. I loved all my fur babies and it was hard to let them go. After I found their forever homes I would puppy sit for the owners. I own 3 dogs that are a family. There is a mom, dad and their puppy. Our family is completed with a cat that thinks he is a dog. This is my dream job to care for dogs every day. For the last 2 years I have been part of a team that hikes with off leash dogs in the hills. It has been very fulfilling and rewarding. I have learned so much about all the different dog breeds and their behaviours. It is a positive reinforcement approach and treat based for brain games and recall. This occupation will aide in my care for your dogs and their overall experience. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby!! 🐾♥️ I am currently working part time Monday to Friday taking dogs on hikes in the hills of up to four at a time off leash. As of May 2026 I will be available from early morning to early afternoon. I will care for your dog at your home with the love and care that you show them. Playing with them and making sure they get out and have that time to relieve themselves. Always topping up their food and water and taking pics so you can see their cute faces!

About: Hi there! My name is Sarah and I grew up on a farm where I learned to care for horses, cows, chickens, dogs and cats at a young age. I also worked at an Animal Hospital for several years, assisting the Vet with surgery and basic animal care. I have been passionate about animals my entire life and I will care for your best friend as if they are my own. I am a self employed, small business owner so I can be available if you’re in a bind and need someone on short notice. :) I own a fenced acre in the country that my old dog Piper loves to run around or sun bathe, and where my cat Sushi loves to explore and play.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping with my family’s rescue organization, "The Rescuers" Dog Placement Service, where my mom, Tracey Summers, rescued, trained, and rehomed more than 500 dogs. As a professional dog trainer, she taught me everything from dog handling and grooming to training and understanding canine behaviour. As a child, I participated in dog agility and 4-H dog programs, and I still enjoy dog sports today. I currently practice agility with my dog "Arrow" and have recently started dock diving with my newest puppy, "Comet". Since my teenage years, I have privately provided dog walking, pet sitting, and basic training services for friends, family, and community members. Dogs are truly my passion, and spending time with them is one of my favourite things to do. I also worked in a pet store for 8 years, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and pet care needs. Over the years, I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, as well as cats, rabbits, chickens, rodents, reptiles, and other household pets. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine, and I take pride in providing patient, reliable, and compassionate care. As a certified teacher, I am dependable, responsible, and an excellent communicator. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in your home, I will treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own animals. I have a flexible schedule and provide reliable pet care on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I live a van-based lifestyle and work online as a tutor, giving me the flexibility to adapt my schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and in-home pet sitting. Based in British Columbia, I’m also open to travelling within the region for pet care opportunities. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle, as I spend much of my time outdoors and structure my days around movement, walks, and animal care. I enjoy including dogs in my routine through active outings, calm companionship, and maintaining their usual schedule while owners are away. Safety and wellbeing are my top priorities when caring for animals. I use positive reinforcement and understand canine body language, helping me create a calm and safe environment for every dog. My puppy is friendly, well-socialized, and enjoys appropriate play with other dogs. I carefully manage interactions to ensure all animals feel comfortable.
