I’m currently working part-time on the weekends and would be out of the house in the mornings for up to 8 hours max. I ensure to walk dogs before leaving for my shift and usually get off work around 2:30. During weekdays, I have classes for a few hours max. With pet care I prioritize my time to be spent with your creature and ensure it gets good care, attention, and love. In the summer, I will be working full-time but am still happy to care for your animal if they are okay with some time spent alone.

In my clients homes, I uphold professionalism and respect. I arrive with enthusiasm and give my full attention and care to dogs and cats. I care for pets by ensuring they have been fed as per their regime, and have clean, fresh water. I play with the pet(s) and give them looots of love and attention. I ensure they will be walked often and given outside time if they are permitted, either in a backyard, around the block, or on a short hike locally if you and your pet is comfortable with that. I believe it is also important to have a clean environment for any animal, so ensure that it is clean and well kept with all favourite toys available and any messes cleaned up.

I would appreciate any information of the demeanour of your pet. What they like in terms of petting, what toys they love, how they tend to react to new people, and especially if they require any special care such as portions of food, oral medication, or bathing.

We will play many fun games, I will give them plenty of loving attention, speak positive words of affirmation about how pretty they are, and have plenty of outside time and throwing games to burn up energy! I also will be a place of calm for them. I will be a friend, happy to just sit and be there with them as well.

After having a family dog for all my life, through her infancy and senior years, I can help you through any stage of your pups life. I have dog-sat others young dogs and older ones with joy. I love talking them on walks and giving baths if they require/enjoy. Patience and working with the personality of an animal are two key skills I excel at. I will meet your pet where they are at with love.

Leah is great! We feel very confident having her stay at our house and look after our pups. When we get home our pups are never stressed and our house looks just as we left it. She keeps in touch while we are away as well which I am very happy about.
Leah was fantastic! She gave my cats space to warm up to her while keeping their home comfortable and maintained their routine. I will absolutely be using her again in the future
Leah watched our small dog Ari for a night while my husband and I got married. We contacted her very last minute and she still made time for us to have a meet and greet and was super flexible with our changing schedules. Ari had such a great time with her and was very calm and relaxed when we returned home! We’re definitely be hoping to book with Leah again in the future!
