About: I’ve had pets all my life, I’ve had dogs and cats and guinea pigs. I love taking my dog, Bailey for pond walks, and she’d love doggy company. I work full time, but work from home on Fridays and I’m home on the weekends. I’m available for boarding, and daycare from Friday to Sunday, or evening and weekend dog walks. I have a secure fenced yard, and live beside a pond, so walks are easy. I have one dog, a cavalier King Charles spaniel, who’s the sweetest girl. Your dog(s) would be well taken care of.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dog, Happy! 🐾 From the very beginning, you showed so much love and care, and it was clear that Happy felt safe and happy with you. We really appreciated the little updates and knowing that our pup was in such good hands. Thank you for treating Happy like part of your family – we would absolutely love to have you watch her again! 💛”

“We left our Gigi with Whitney and her family for second time and they took the best care of her (again). Gigi had her kind of vacation, she relaxed and had all the attention she needs. I'm very grateful I found this amazing family and I can leave Gigi with them with absolutely no doubts.”

“Lori and Wayne were amazing!!! My dog Charlie is a very anxious one and I was worried when I dropped him off. Few minutes later they sent me pictures of Charlie and kept me updated the whole time he was at their house. He looked so happy and well taken care of. Thank you Lori and Wayne 💓”

“I only had great things to say about Sarah and her beautiful family. They took such a great care of Cloe, got lots of updates while I was away for 3 days and felt the love they give her through the pictures and videos. Their house was clean and I felt very comfortable leaving Cloe with them. I would definitely use them again and 100% recommend them to take care of your fur baby. They will be in great care! Thank you Sarah for everything and looking after Cloe, I can see she loved staying with you guys, and we will be back very soon :)”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for Goldie while we were away for over two weeks. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see just how much fun Goldie was having. It was clear that Goldie was loved and cared for like one of her own, and she truly had the very best time. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of her and giving her a home away from home for such an extended period of time. We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to book with you again!”

“Words can't express how awesome Lacey is! The care and love she gives my dogs is amazing! I never had to worry the for the 2 weeks my pups spent with her. She gave us so many updates and you can just tell she loved having them. She always goes out of her way to help my older dog who struggles with his mobility. She also celebrated their Birthdays while we were away with a special cookie treat! I will always recommend Lacey to anyone in need of pet care!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of my senior dog. He came home tired! After picking him up, he slept for the remainder of the day. As they say, a tired dog is a happy dog. I also appreciated your timely updates - sending photos and a video of his stay.”

“April took great care of our dog Garrix. We were really worried leaving him behind because he had a medical scare a few days before we left, but we were left feeling confident that April would ensure Garrix's meds were taken and that he'd receive top care. We loved the photos we received of Garrix's adventures and it was so reassuring to see how happy and playful he was during his stay. We would definitely rebook with April!”

“Jeff and his family took such a good care of Scooby. Scooby is a very anxious dog. This was Scooby's first boarding experience and looks like he loved it. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
