“This was our third or fourth time having our dogs stay at Lindsay’s and the boys had so much fun! We never have to worry about the dogs when they’re in her care :) as always, very much recommend!”

“I’m happy we found Ana Iris. She sent us pictures and videos of our dog, played and walked with her, and I knew that our husky is happy. The most important that I felt that our dog is safe and taken care of. Thank you, Ana. Will be happy to leave Moona with you again.”

“Andrew and Robin were awesome, Lady was at home within minutes of arriving. We were kept well informed with pictures and videos the whole time and Lady looked to be having a great time with them.”

“Allison is amazing with our dog who loves walks either her and staying with her and running around her acreage. She sent us lots of pictures and updates. So kind and responds quickly. Highly recommend her as a dog walker and boarding,”

“Michelle was responsive and accommodating with our dog. We very much appreciate her care for him over the weekend, and when we picked him up, he was in good spirits and apparently well cared for. Recommended!”

“Dima was the greatest dog sitter we have ever worked with. Constant updates and picture of our boy and plenty of exercise and fun! It feels like our puppy got a vacation as well!! Will definitely be booking with Dima again!!”

“Whitney did an amazing job from drop off to pick up and everything in between. This stay over for Sadie was the longest she’s been away from us since we got her in June of last year. Sadie is still under a year old and had a fantastic time with all of the dogs she played and snuggled with the entire time! Until the next pup sleepover … (obviously we will be back). Thanks Whitney and Crew!”

“Lori and Wayne watched our old for one night in their home. They sent pictures and kept us updated on how she was doing throughout her stay with them. They seemed very attentive and they were very accommodating and flexible. I would definitely leave Brooklyn (our girl) in their care again.”

“Lacey was amazing and treated our baby like her own during our 4 day boarding with her! We loved how she handled the meet and greet and Dallas came home so happy! Both of her dogs were super friendly and we had no issues at all! Thank you Lacey for everything! And we will definitely have Dallas back there soon”

“Leslie was awesome taking care of our Lola providing regular updates, pictures and snuggles. This is our second time having Leslie take on our pup and we always know she is in good hands when there!”

“Great sitters, very welcoming and willing to work with us to adjust pick up and drop off. They helped to adjust the booking to work with my schedule. Trustworthy, reliable and communicative. Received pictures along the way on how my dog was doing. Very smooth transition as I would not be home to pick up the pet. I was able to trust them to drop off Zoey while I was away. Would recommend!”

“Jeff and his family were the perfect host for our 2 year old girl. Would highly recommend them and will definitely be reaching out to use their services again. Thanks for taking such good care of Wylee.”

“Amazing sitters! I had 2 of my babies go for an overnight sleepover at their home and they were so great with my dogs. They sent lots of videos and photos throughout the night with updates and it made me feel so comfortable knowing they were really well taken care of and happy staying there. My chihuahua is having a hard time learning to pee in the right places and they were even okay that there may be an accident since she sometimes gets confused which is her pee pad and which is a floor mat. So thrilled with finding this wonderful couple, we will absolutely use them again 😊”

“I only had great things to say about Sarah and her beautiful family. They took such a great care of Cloe, got lots of updates while I was away for 3 days and felt the love they give her through the pictures and videos. Their house was clean and I felt very comfortable leaving Cloe with them. I would definitely use them again and 100% recommend them to take care of your fur baby. They will be in great care! Thank you Sarah for everything and looking after Cloe, I can see she loved staying with you guys, and we will be back very soon :)”

“Haley is a wonderful dog sitter, her and her family were extremely friendly and calm with Darth who is a very timid pup. You can tell they are all dog lovers who enjoy sharing their home with pets. She was very flexible on drop off and pick up times and sent lots of photos. We will definitely use Haley again!”

“Kye was great with taking care of my dog while I was away on my 10 day trip. She gave 2-4 updates a day with photos on what my dog was upto. Her daughters also formed a great bond with my dog which helped ease my dogs anxiety of being away from the family. I’m grateful I found Kye, and I will definitely be leaving my dog with her in the future!”

“Sheena was amazing with our completely blind Miniature Pinscher. She kept him right on his diabetes schedule, and everything went smoothly. We really appreciated the daily updates — you can tell she genuinely cares. Thank you, Sheena!”

“Andre took very good care of our cat, Walter. Walter was content when we arrived home. Andre gave us daily updates and even water my outdoor flowers!! We will definitely use Andre again.”

“We cannot say enough good things about Ana! We were in a pickle finding someone to watch and feed our cat Zantar. He needs his insulin twice a day so it's a huge ask. Ana had no problem doing the insulin needles and being able to come twice a day. Ana was so friendly, and I immediately felt comfortable when we did a meet & greet. She sent us update messages throughout the week and was easy to contact. We will definitely use her again in the future :) :) Thank you again Ana!”

About: I have been helping my friends and family with their animals since I was 15 years old. I have a passion for animals and it continues to grow as I get older. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats of any breads. I am a certified dog trainer and groomer and am even comfortable with dispensing of medications the animals need. I am currently working full time from Monday-Friday. However, I have open availability on weekdays in the evenings and on the weekends. I have a trusted and reliable vehicle to ensure proper transportation to and from clients houses. I am a very trusted and responsible individual. I ensure the safety of both my clients animals and their house. I will always double check that the animals have what they need, are safe in the house and then make sure all windows and doors are locked before I leave.

About: Cats have always been in my life and there is nothing better than receiving a head butt and a slow blink! I have been blessed to share my life with several felines well beyond 15 years. I am very experienced cat behaviours and with administering oral medications.

About: Welcome to your dog’s second home in Cranston’s Riverstone. I’m Rory, a full-time work-from-home sitter who cares for one family’s dogs at a time, so your dog gets focused attention and a predictable, low-stress stay. I’m home throughout the day and night, which means your dog is rarely alone. If I do step out briefly, it’s never for more than an hour, and I’m always happy to align with your dog’s routine and comfort level. ⸻ Daily routine, walks, and outdoor time We have a fully fenced backyard for regular outdoor breaks, play, and relaxed time outside. I’m also just two blocks from the Bow River pathway system, with paved and unpaved trails, hills, and quiet spots that are perfect for sniffing and exploring. Walks are tailored to the dog. That can mean a short 10-minute stroll, or longer 8 km loops (an hour or more) through the river paths and surrounding hills, depending on age, energy level, and preference. ⸻ A calm canine companion Your dog will share the space with Willow, my well-mannered senior Great Dane. She’s low-energy, gentle, and has spent now 3 years helping visiting dogs settle in comfortably. Her calm presence is especially helpful for dogs who benefit from a relaxed, steady environment while their owners are away. Because I only host one household at a time, the dynamic stays simple and manageable. ⸻ Experience and care approach I grew up on a farm and have cared for animals my entire life. I’m comfortable with puppies (typically not intact males), adult dogs, and seniors, and I’m happy to administer oral medications if needed. Dogs are welcome on furniture and can sleep in the same room as me. Crates are preferred for sleeping and downtime, and I can provide extra-large crates if requested, or use your own setup if that’s what your dog prefers. ⸻ Drop-ins and house checks In addition to boarding and daycare, I offer pet drop-ins and daytime house checks in south Calgary and northern Okotoks. These visits can include feeding, walks, companionship, plant watering, mail collection, and garbage day management. I work from home and can keep a 24/7 eye on your pet. When sitting we won’t be leaving them at home, and will take them on daily walks around the neighborhood, including the paved walkways along the Bow River in Riverstone. I work from home full-time and only look after one family’s dogs at a time, so pets get plenty of supervision and consistency. My home has a fully fenced yard for frequent outdoor breaks, and walks and playtime are always tailored to each dog’s needs. I closely follow feeding and care instructions, can give oral medications if needed, and send regular photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have never gone without having one by my side, so looking after them feels completely natural to me. While I was away at university, I even fostered a couple of dogs because I missed having that companionship so much it was incredibly rewarding to give them love and stability while they waited for their forever homes. I’m comfortable with a range of needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training, to senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with every dog I care for as I treat them like my own. Recently, I lost my two dogs, and while I’m not quite ready to bring a new puppy into my home, caring for others’ pets feels like the perfect way to keep sharing that love, attention, and companionship that dogs deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority in my day. I’m currently working part-time with a chiropractic internship from Monday to Thursday, which still leaves me with plenty of time and energy to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m available on weekdays after 4pm as well as on weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or overnight care. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.

About: Our pets are our family. I'm so happy to be able to look after yours, and will treat them as my own. We recently had to let go of our 15 year old girls, so I know how to look after them in all stages of life, including giving them the medicine they need to be comfortable when they get older. I'm very happy to visit your babies and give them all the love they need. I can do drop in visits, house-sitting, and dog walking, and am flexible so can work with your schedule. I also volunteer as bunny hugger with the Calgary Humane Society, so also have a lot of experience with rabbits, and would also be happy to look after yours. All pets are welcome, and I will look after them with my whole heart. I'm currently living on an acreage, and volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society, Inn from the Cold, and the Calgary Library. “Avery had the best time today! Whitney is great with the dogs, lots of pictures and updates and great to organize puppy stays with! Happy to see Avery social with the kids and all other dogs so well. Thanks so much!”

“Yonathan and Lezette were very friendly and so accommodating. They gave us photo and message updates regularly and our Murphy seemed relaxed and happy. Would definitely book with them again! ☺️”

“I was a bit nervous to leave my very young puppy with someone at first; but Christine was wonderful - she sent me updates, pics and videos throughout the day and it really helped put my mind at ease. I know he is really good hands because of how excited he gets when we get to her house.”

“I had to look for a sitter for my puppy who has seperation anxiety and found Samantha. Samantha was really patient and loving with my puppy who was extremely hyper and in the biting phase. Samantha kept me posted with pictures and videos of my pooch while I was at my job training which helped with my own seperation anxiety from my pup. I would definitely recommend Samantha as a person to care for your pooch.”

About: Newcomers USE Promo code: SHEENW15608 to get 20 dollars off your first booking! I have a very personal approach to petsitting. I take only one guest at a time. So your dog will get all of my focus and will be in a very calm environment. My dog Marlo is very sweet and calm and is an excellent hostess to our guests. I have been away from Rover for awhile busy with clients I’ve had for many years but I would love to expand my clientele and look forward to giving your dog the best one on one care like they deserve.I have loved animals my whole life. In my late teens I had rabbits and for the last 30 years I have had dogs. Out of high school I worked as a vet tech in training for a year. Then from the age of 21 to my early 40s I was blessed to have 6 dogs in my life 3 of which were rescues. All were with me until their very senior years. I have learned so much from them. Most of my dogs were fairly close in age so they were young together and they grew old together. I had the joy of a pack and I have seen and learned so much through the lifetimes of six dogs, one of which was a paraplegic with IVDD. So I am experienced with special needs dogs, seniors, IVDD, manual bladder emptying, dog diapers, blindness, and palliative care. I am able to administer medications including injections and know CPR and what to do in other emergencies. My experiences have taught me empathy, how to serve selflessly and love unconditionally. When my last dog, who was a paraplegic, passed away I fostered a 4 year old female dachshund with IVDD and working with the rescue fully rehabilitated her. I adopted her (Marlo) in 2024 and she is a great hostess to our guest dogs. I get to meet so many perfect little souls and spend time giving them happy moments, comfort, and security while their moms and dads are at work or travelling. I am extremely capable with seniors and special needs dogs because I understand them and what they need medically, physically, and emotionally. All dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have many repeat clients I gained through word of mouth before I came to Rover and look forward to being more available to start meeting new Rover clients so, though I'm just becoming available, I can provide plenty of references from petsitting clients I've been booked with. *Please note my rate amount covers the the booking fee you pay to Rover and the 30 percent fee I pay to Rover I am retired so petcare is something I choose to do because I love it and so I don’t just work it around my routine. Instead I work the rest of my routine around it. I am home full time so your dog is with my dog and me all the time. I am in a pet friendly condo with a fenced in private dog yard for residents. The area has great parks and walk routes also.

About: I love dogs and dogs like me. I have had dogs throughout my life and I have fostered for a few years. I’m happy to take your dog to the park, walk around their neighbourhood, play at home or throw a ball at any of those locations. I once volunteered at a dog obedience school just for fun. The experience included a growl class which dealt with aggressive and traumatized dog. Recently, a severely neglected senior dog was surrendered to me. I made sure the end of his life was the best of his life. I’m home full time, I have a reliable vehicle and my availability is open. I love all dogs big and small and welcome the opportunity to hang out with yours. I’m currently home full time and I’m able to walk and engage with your dog as required with frequent potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to sit or sleep wherever they prefer I live in a pet friendly building in a dog friendly neighborhood and pet potty areas on the roof top if they prefer a quick break

About: I've had animals all my life from farm animals to horses to a lot of different pets. I currently breed, train and show my own dogs. Have worked in a Veterinary hospital I have plenty experience taking care of a bunch different animals. I love to spend my time with animals and taking care of their needs is my priority while I can help busy families to have quality time together. I can fit your needs according to your pet's necessities no matter what it is, just give me the details and will follow instructions. (time and whether permitted in case of walks)

About: Ive had experience around multiple types of dogs. However I love seniors as mine is currently 17 and enjoys lots of naps. But I just love any dog and will be sure to give them the best possible experience Well I care for my own senior dog most days feeding her twice a day, and giving her bathroom breaks every few hours. And can fit others into a schedule as I'm a uni student looking to fill my summer with cuddles and critters (the good kind) I can not guarantee offering services at my house because of my senior dog and pet policy but would love to meet your pet at your home. I would feed and give potty breaks and gain their trust through repetitive measures of letting them get used to me, as after all I'm new in there space and don't want them to get uncomfortable and obviously I know that takes time so I'll let them warm up to me as well before attempting to do anything that may provoke or spook the sweet creatures.
About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work full time in the city and I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I’m very good with early mornings and late night visits. I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

About: I have always had pets as a child and continued to take care of animals throughout my entire lifetime. As a child, I was able to observe how they behaved and interacted with one another, which allowed me to learn their habits, needs, and different personalities, e.g., energetic puppies; timid pets; and elderly pets that require a gentler approach. What distinguishes me from others is my ability to be patient, dependable, and my excellent communication skills, something that I have developed while studying to become a Social Worker. I know how to listen actively and remain calm in stressful situations, as well as being compassionate, all of which greatly contribute to providing safe, reliable, and loving care for animals. I take time to understand each animal's behaviour and routine, as well as any special needs, so they can be comfortable and enjoy being cared for while you are away. My aspiration is to treat each pet as if it were my own and to always create the best possible experience, with little or no stress for the owner or pet. I’ve incorporated my dog-walking services and other services naturally into my schedule. This allows me to walk your pet during the day, visit and/or stay with them while you work or are away. I will always be reliable with regard to timing and communication. I carefully plan my schedule so that I can give every pet that I look after proper exercise and attention on a consistent basis, and I make sure that each pet's daily routine is closely adhered to (this would include feeding, walking, medication, or playtime). Most evenings and weekends are open, and are ideal for long stays or extra visits. Your fur-baby is my top priority when caring for them, I make it my mission to protect your pet and give them the best care they need!
About: I have been taking care of pets from a young age. From birth to passing and everything in between, your pets are in good hands. I am able to give meds and even have experience taking care of my autistic dog My current job allows me the flexibility to make sure your pet has the best of care, regardless of time of day. Whether it's getting out for a walk or time sensitive meds, I'll have it covered I look forward to giving your pets the best care possible, while allowing them the comfort and security of home. I'm always open to special requests with your pets best interest at heart. I will deliver the same level of care I would expect for my animals!

About: Ever since I was a baby I’ve spent my life around animals from small to large, domestic to farm. I have always had a deep compassion for animals. As a child I always wanted to be around and with animals wanting to grow up working with them in any way. I have 5 years of experience working on a dairy farm and have worked at a doggy daycare. In 2023 I got my first puppy as an adult. Since then I have rescued 1, and had 2 rehomed to me as well. In my free time a few days a week I volunteer at the CHS taking dogs out for the day giving them a break from the shelter, showing them what everyday life looks like. Animals are already a huge part of my everyday life, so dog walking fits very naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule with availability every other week from 4:30pm–10:00pm, and on alternating weeks from 7:00am–10:00pm. I enjoy getting out for walks, spending time with dogs, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away or busy. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking to their normal routines, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I understand how important trust, patience, and consistency are when caring for someone else’s pet.

In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.

About: Pets have been my world my entire life, from childhood companions to the furry family members who still fill my home today. I’m not just a sitter; I’m the person who notices every little tail wag, who sits on the floor for extra cuddles, and who gives undivided attention because your animals deserve to feel truly loved and secure. For years, friends, family, and neighbors have counted on me to care for their pets during long absences where I spend time walking, feeding, playing, and spoiling them for days (or even weeks) at a time. No rushed visits here: your pets get my full heart and focus, just like my own. Choose me for care that’s deeply personal, endlessly patient, and built on a lifetime of real animal love. Pet care fits seamlessly and joyfully into my daily and weekly routine because I have a highly flexible schedule that lets me put animals first, always. Even on days when I’m not pet sitting, I make time to prioritize my own beloved animals: curling up for long snuggle sessions, giving endless chin scratches, playing fetch, and sharing affectionate moments that keep our bond strong. This same level of devotion carries over to every pet I care for, whether it’s multiple visits for walks and play, overnight stays, or just being present for lap time and gentle attention. I’m never rushed or distracted; your animals get my full heart and focus, just like mine do at home. I provide all pet care exclusively in your home, so your cats, dogs, or other furry family members never have to face the stress of a new environment. They stay surrounded by their familiar scents, favorite toys, cozy spots, and daily routines. Safety and trust come first: I follow your instructions precisely, secure doors and windows, respect all household rules, and treat your home with the utmost care, leaving everything exactly as I found it (or even tidier). With my lifelong passion for animals, I create a calm, loving atmosphere filled with tailored attention, whether it’s energetic play and walks for dogs, gentle lap time and chin scratches for cats, fresh meals and water on schedule, potty breaks, litter box scooping, or just quiet companionship so they feel completely secure and adored while you’re away. Owners love how relaxed, happy, and content their pets remain, knowing their home and beloved animals are in truly trustworthy, attentive hands.

About: Experienced with large breeds and multi-dog households, including German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, and Great Danes. Whether your dog is a couch cuddler or a 120-pound chaos machine, I’m comfortable handling it all. I’ve cared for dogs for weeks at a time, including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and daily routines, so drop-in visits and regular walks are no problem. I also regularly care for my brother’s German Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable with strong, high-energy dogs and giving them the attention, patience, and care they deserve. As a flight attendant, my schedule gives me flexibility during the week, which makes pet care easy to fit into my routine. On my days off, I have plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, feeding routines, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I’m also very organized and used to managing schedules and routines professionally, so reliability, communication, and punctuality are extremely important to me, both in aviation and in caring for your pets. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always try to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any specific care requests closely while also making sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m experienced with both high-energy dogs and more independent cats, so I adapt to each pet’s personality and comfort level. Cleanliness, safety, and communication are also very important to me, and I always make sure owners feel updated and reassured while they’re away.

About: I’ve had 5 dogs in my household since I was born. I trained 2 out of the five as I got older. I have pet sitted before and I have an absolute love for dogs. Currently we have adopted a puppy from fostering, we absolutely love her! We don’t know the breed or how big she will get but she’s been an absolute delight in our household! I always enjoy a good walk myself or a visit to a family friendly park with other dogs. Currently working on dog parks with my own puppy at home! Over the summer months would like to walk more dogs as my job is currently slow. I love the outdoors so I definitely enjoy taking my puppy for walks and to parks with nice scenic views. We enjoy visiting other dogs for play time for socialization! I enjoy playing with toys with our puppy, chasing a ball outside or teaching her how to be without a leash. We always use treats to learn new skills!
