About: Having senior pets takes an incredible amount of compassion and patience. I have personally had several pets live beyond their years due to a lot of love and attention to behaviours that communicate their needs (meds, food, grooming, love, attention, exercise, play, rest) Monday to Friday, I am available from 4pm daily and overnight until 7am. I have weekends and school holidays available to care for pets full time. At the client's home, I provide for the physical and emotional needs of the pets- food, water, any medications, cages and litter cleaning and play/exercise, basic grooming. Owners provide sensory toys, games and treats so I can engage their pets and provide a stimulating environment.

About: I have been helping my friends and family with their animals since I was 15 years old. I have a passion for animals and it continues to grow as I get older. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats of any breads. I am a certified dog trainer and groomer and am even comfortable with dispensing of medications the animals need. I have a trusted and reliable vehicle to ensure proper transportation to and from clients houses. I am a very trusted and responsible individual. I ensure the safety of both my clients animals and their house. I will always double check that the animals have what they need, are safe in the house and then make sure all windows and doors are locked before I leave.

I’m Rory, a full-time work-from-home sitter who cares for one family’s dogs at a time, so your dog gets focused attention and a predictable, low-stress stay. I’m home throughout the day and night, which means your dog is rarely alone. If I do step out briefly, it’s never for more than an hour, and I’m always happy to align with your dog’s routine and comfort level. ⸻ Daily routine, walks, and outdoor time We have a fully fenced backyard for regular outdoor breaks, play, and relaxed time outside. I’m also just two blocks from the Bow River pathway system, with paved and unpaved trails, hills, and quiet spots that are perfect for sniffing and exploring. Walks are tailored to the dog. That can mean a short 10-minute stroll, or longer 8 km loops (an hour or more) through the river paths and surrounding hills, depending on age, energy level, and preference. ⸻ A calm canine companion Your dog will share the space with Willow, my well-mannered senior Great Dane. She’s low-energy, gentle, and has spent now 3 years helping visiting dogs settle in comfortably. Her calm presence is especially helpful for dogs who benefit from a relaxed, steady environment while their owners are away. Because I only host one household at a time, the dynamic stays simple and manageable. ⸻ Experience and care approach I grew up on a farm and have cared for animals my entire life. I’m comfortable with puppies (typically not intact males), adult dogs, and seniors, and I’m happy to administer oral medications if needed. Dogs are welcome on furniture and can sleep in the same room as me. Crates are preferred for sleeping and downtime, and I can provide extra-large crates if requested, or use your own setup if that’s what your dog prefers. ⸻ Drop-ins and house checks In addition to boarding and daycare, I offer pet drop-ins and daytime house checks in south Calgary and northern Okotoks. These visits can include feeding, walks, companionship, plant watering, mail collection, and garbage day management. I work from home and can keep a 24/7 eye on your pet. When sitting we won’t be leaving them at home, and will take them on daily walks around the neighborhood, including the paved walkways along the Bow River in Riverstone. I work from home full-time and only look after one family’s dogs at a time, so pets get plenty of supervision and consistency. My home has a fully fenced yard for frequent outdoor breaks, and walks and playtime are always tailored to each dog’s needs. I closely follow feeding and care instructions, can give oral medications if needed, and send regular photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and i don’t think i would ever go without one. They’re more than just a pet, they’re your family and they deserve all the love in the world! I’m currently on a break from my job so my schedule is completely free from day time to night time! So i’m available whenever is needed! About: Your dogs second best friend! I am a former dog walker looking to fill some extra time I have, what better way to fill it with your good boy/girl! If your pet has food limitations they're in luck as I am the owner of Dognut Cafe; organically handmade pet treats and pizzas! I certainly would treat your dogs as though they are my own. I instantly fall in love with every dog I meet! And... My son certainly takes after his Mom! He respects each dogs space, doesn't stare them in the eyes, and loves and respects them all the same. Currently we have a very friendly and very sweet Corgi named Eevee. As a pet care giver I would ensure your dog is clean before returning home, as well as leave a journal entry or a note behind informing you of our day. I can even send you photos during our time together. I can also do live videos, special occasions photo (Winter Solstice Reindeer / Christmas Stocking, Easter Doggy, National dog day, Halloween Costume Walk...) I have my first aid and pet first aid, so I can administer medications (need written directions for insurance purposes) as well as give them all the love they need while awaiting your return. Please reach out if your budget doesn't allow for these prices. I can always adjust on the back end, it's about fit not finances. Daycare / Boarding: Presently I work from home and have the flexibility to move around as I see fit. Buckmaster Park is a block away for shaded walks throughout the day. Perfect for dogs of all kinds! No fence, relief as desired. During assessment with any pet service provider it's important to discuss limitations and the length of time a dog can be left alone. This will be clearly outlined during our first meeting. Please note this is a household so there is human activity occurring; we leave to grocery shop, run errands, have friends and neighbours pop in. ALL of which will be in the best interest of the animals during this time away, and minimized if discussed prior to. PLEASE communicate the exact needs of your dog / schedule as I will mimic to the best of my ability. Dog Sitting (in clients home): no one else will be allowed in the home unless otherwise agreed upon: in writing!
