About: I've had pets of all shapes and sizes in my life since I can remember. Most recently, I was loving mom to two rescues; a Border Collie and Meximutt. Sadly, we lost both girls in 2024. I miss the walks, cuddles, and company. We aren’t yet ready for a new pup, but have lots of love to give yours! I have lots of experience with administering medications, dog reactivity, and dog anxiety. I believe in reward based training, and am certified in canine massage therapy. I've participated in Barn Hunt, Nose Work and K9 Zulu Warrior Challenges with my dogs, and enjoy providing enrichment or nose work activities. We used to struggle to find a place without other dogs that could care for our dogs complex needs. I can now provide that safe, warm, loving space where your dog will be treated like a member of the family, and receive exceptional care. My work allows flexibility in my schedule, so I can adapt my routine. My husband works from home as well, so accommodating pee breaks, walks or medications throughout the day is easy. We have a private fenced yard space, as well as a large open yard, and a fenced dog park in town, depending on your dogs scene. In our home dogs are allowed on the couch for cuddles, and are welcome to sleep in the bed, unless you prefer they be crated. We have a large crate, slow bowls, bowl stands, water dishes, blankets, beds and toys available. We provide regular updates, photos and communication about your pet while you're away. It is important to note we have a senior cat, so any dogs must have cat experience. We also live in an area that frequently has squirrels, raccoons, and deer in the yard, so dogs with high prey drive may not be a good fit.

“This was our first time using Rover and to say we were nervous with trusting our kitty with somebody was an understatement. We met with Llana and she immediately put us as ease on how she interacted with our cat. She went above and beyond in the 3 visits and we only wish we met Llana sooner!! Thank you so much, we would highly recommend Llana!!”

“Just hired Mallory to look after our dog Lillith during my vacation over Christmas holidays. There was a week of in house and then a week of drop in visits. We met before we left so Lilly could get to know her and show her around. She was the perfect fit! She is pleasant and reliable and sent daily updates. House as well as my dog was well cared for. My fish were also attended to and when my tank filter stopped working while i was away she contacted me and went to store and replaced it for me! She is very mature for her age and down to earth. It has been a pleasure to get to know her and she is now newest member of my family :) Highly recommend without reservation that Mallory can look after your pets. Thank you Rover”

About: I’ve always had access to animals from a young age and it was my partial responsibility to help care for them. I have also worked on farms that exposed me to even more varieties of animals and gave me the opportunity to bond with them and understand different languages of pet loves. I don’t tend to have trouble demonstrating my trustworthy nature to animals, and seem to have a strange affinity with many variety of pets. I’m very respectful of people’s spaces and make sure to leave them as I found them. I garden a lot as well and will happily baby indoor plants if given care instructions on what you prefer. My schedule is flexible and controlled predominantly by myself therefore I’m usually able to accommodate requests and work them into my day-to-day. Usually I do longer Sits (over a long weekend, or a month or more at a time) but it varies depending on the situation. I’m very respectful of the routines of animals in your/their home. I stick to the routine they’re familiar with and am very conscious of their feelings. Normally I try to swing by and meet the animal kin before the Sit if possible just so they can see me interacting with their pet parent and feel more comfortable but that varies depending on the situation.

About: Last year I had the pleasure of meeting many loveable dogs through Rover! Unfortunately I took a break due to an injury but am excited to be back! I have had the pleasure of being around dogs of all ages all my life. In 2023 my fiance and I welcomed our first (own) puppy to our little family who has quickly become the centre of our world. Our now 1.5year old boy is a well behaved and energetic pup who is eager to meet other dogs. I hope you give me the opportunity to spread the love to your critters! I do live a busy lifestyle, and currently am working rotational shift work. Unfortunately that means I’m not the best fit for a typical Monday-Friday. However I have the advantage of several consecutive days away from work in a row. If you have any specific dates you’re looking for a sitter, dog walking, or playdates with my golden please do not hesitate to reach out. I have a (non-fenced in) back yard located on a quiet street in Wolfville. We are located walking distance to many walking trails and parks.

She has a lot of experience with medicating and monitoring dogs with health concerns, canine massage, and canine nutrition. She is patient and calm when dealing with dogs with behavioral challenges. She took care of my fearful and reactive dog that I wasn’t comfortable trusting with anyone else, and he did great while I was away. I would trust her with my three dogs completely and I would recommend her to anyone!”

Danielle R.
“If anyone is a dog-lover, it’s my neighbour Danielle! She is a great friend to both of my big dogs and has often asked if she could spend some time with them. As is the case with most people who are passionate about K-9’s, Danielle thrives on the companionship, loyalty, unconditional love and endless affectionate, that dogs are so well known for. On several occasions, Danielle has taken care of the older of my two golden retrievers in her home. Cayman always looks forward to spending time with Danielle. Danielle has also been keen to join me on walks with my two dogs and has been a great help to me. In the short time that she has lived in our neighborhood, I’m sure that Danielle has already gotten to know most of the dogs who live here as well. How many of us can say that?”

Hannah C.
“Hannah was incredible. She was great at communicating and confirming plans before the sit, during the sit with lovely photos of my cat Paxx, and left the place cleaner than it was when I left. She’s very organized and remembered small details I mentioned about Paxx. She also has a real way with animals- Paxx slept on her lap and he doesn’t even sleep on mine! Happy to have her back again this month, thank you Hannah!”

Zakia B.
“I highly recommend Zakia as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and happiness of all animals under her care. Her patience, attention to detail, and gentle nature make her a natural when it comes to handling pets. I trust Zakia implicitly and would recommend her to anyone in need of a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their furry friends.”

Andrea P.
“I always know my boys are in great hands with Andrea! She’s great at providing updates and sending pictures throughout her stay or walks! Highly recommend her!”

Aube G.
“Aube adore tout simplement les animaux. Elle a pris soin de mes chats lors de mon absence de façon exemplaire. Elle a pris le temps de jouer avec eux, et a fait tout ce que j’avais besoin. Je la recommande fortement comme gardienne d’animaux et pour prendre soin de la maison!”

Jessica S.
“Jessica is my older sister. Growing up she not only took care of me and my younger sister, but she took care of the pets we had too. She was the responsible one of the bunch, and with a single father working full time, she had to become the adult at a young age. If not for her, our dogs would’ve gone Unwalked, unfed, and underloved. There’s nobody I’d trust more to take care of my animals than Jessica; she somehow managed to make sure I made it to adulthood, so she can do anything.”
