“Ashling took excellent car of our young puppy! I loved receiving pictures and updates throughout the day. Our pup is high energy at this age but seemed to be well entertained and tuckered out by the time we came home. We can’t wait to have Ashling care for him again!”

About: Helping your pets living their best life! I’m experienced with big size dogs, elder animals, giving medication if needed. I have my pet first aid course. But most of all, I’m a pet sitter that cares a lot about your pet’s well being and will adapt to all level of energy! I work part time at Island Lake Lodge so my calendar is very flexible for pet sitting at your place or walk your dog during the work days. I walk dogs around Fernie and I’m willing to move around in Elk Valley for multi night pet sitting. Always one dog at a time (or multiple dogs if they are from the same household). I also take care of cats & other pets and will give them all the love they deserve!
“Ella was a wonderful house and dog sitter. Her love of dogs was evident from our first meeting. Our pup Finn was in great hands while we were away. We really appreciated her communication and photos of Finny on fun walks and relaxing in the house. Thanks, Ella!”

“This was our first experience using a Rover sitter and it turned out great! Ophelia met with us and our pets beforehand, as well as went on a walk to learn the cues we use with our dog, which showed great attention to detail and helped her know what to expect. She sent photos and updates, kept our place clean, and made sure our dog was well exercised so we could come home and relax after our trip. We were a bit nervous because our dog can be a handful and our cat unexpectedly needed medication, but she handled everything like a pro. We’d definitely book with her again!”

“Helen was absolutely amazing! She took such good care of Luna and was a joy to have in our home while we were away. She went above and beyond and we always felt Luna was in the best and most caring hands. I would recommend her 100%. She is caring, responsive, attentive and just a wonderful human. Luna formed a close bond with her (and so did we).”

“We used Lauren for house sitting and to watch our big pup Georgia for 9 days. Lauren was very helpful with picking up and administering medications. We did leave a big list of requests and helpful tips - Lauren was happy to follow our requests and she gave our girl multiple walks a day with plenty of photo updates. My wife and I would 100% use Lauren to watch our pup and home in the future. Thanks Lauren - we really appreciate your help and commitment to providing safe and comfortable care for Georgia!”

“Sarah was an incredible sitter !! I always have a lot of anxiety when it comes to having someone stay at our house and watch our animals and she did everything and more to make me feel comfortable. I got multiple updates a day with photos of everyone enjoying themselves which meant so much to me. I can honestly say I felt at ease with Sarah watching our animals and didn’t have any worries which doesn’t happen often for me . I absolutely would recommend her to anyone who needed a sitter. Thank you Sarah again so much!”

About: I've spent 3 weeks house sitting a rescue dog and cat in Christchurch, New Zealand plus many other weekends house sitting various pets. I have also fostered dogs including puppies for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. I'm currently off work for the shoulder season until December. During winter I will be working part time hours as a breakfast server and skiing other days meaning I will be around evenings every day. I care for pets as if they are my own. I love dogs and am quick to make genuine connections with them. I give them a lot of love and enjoy the companionship they give.
About: All my pets have been a huge part of the family. They have done everything with me. I have a service dog that was trained mostly by myself and then certified. Animals are comfortable with me. I am respectful, responsible and reliable. I travel with my husband or on my own. Life is an adventure and meant for living with animals... I am retired. My schedule will be around the animals needs... walks, cuddles and meal times. Poop clean up, a little training if needed and treats. I have a service dog that needs walking 2 times a day. We play games and cuddle. He loves to be brushed and loves to have spot washes.

We're so happy with our experience using Ellie and Sam through Rover. They watched over our 6 month old pup in our own home for a number of nights. After a quick meet and greet before leaving we knew they were trustworthy people, and that Georgia was going to be in safe hands. We received numerous updates and photos while we were away and no questions or requests were to much of a bother. Georgia is a happy girl and we have some amazing photos for keeps now! Thankyou Ellie and Sam!

Casie and Neil did a great job of taking care of our high energy labs. It was nice to come home and find our pups nice and chill, which is typically unusual. They really helped us out when we unexpectedly needed to add days for them to care for our dogs. Extremely accommodating and we highly recommend them!
