About: I got my first dog at the age of 5 and haven’t stopped since! Because of that I have tons of knowledge on training, daily walk requirements & the responsibility & time that comes with taking care of dogs. I also have worked at a dog daycare for over 3 years so have tons of experience with taking care of dogs big & small of all different ages, activity levels & personalities. By working there I learned tons about social/ behavioural cues, different approaches when working with different personalities in dogs (timid, aggressive, over excited etc.), maintaining a big pack of dogs, basic grooming and various feeding & medications instructions. Being a huge animal lover, my friends and family are the first person they ask to watch their animals when they are out of town because they know I treat them as my own! I have experience & confidence with all ages, sizes, energy levels, special needs & medication requirements. My current schedule is 4 on 4 off & I work long hours on my days on & won’t be available for boarding during those days but will be for my days off. Walks and drop in’s could work depending on times. Just reach out :) How you’re dog is used to being cared to is what I strive to reenact for your pooch. I want them to be just as comfortable in their normal routine while they are in my care!

Our dog has just recently gone to stay with her dog Dad for the winter and we are happy to open our home for dog snuggles as we are missing our four legged friend. Lots of experience as we both had rescues in the past that came with their quirks and spent a lot of time dog training. Love to be outside or even lazy days on the couch if that’s what your pooch prefers. Happy to accommodate for all shapes and sizes and energy levels. Even happy with the quirky ones. We would be caring for you dog/cat as a team, our schedules are varied between day and evening shifts so between the two of us they would get a lot of care and attention. We have a big fenced yard. Available space if you prefer your dog to sleep in a crate. Three people in the house so usually someone around to keep them company, dog would be unattended for maximum 4 hours. We love to hike, run, bike and cross country ski so plenty of opportunity for adventure.

About: My dog/cat are my best friends so I know just how important it is to make sure they get the best care while you’re not around. I don’t have a routine job. I work out of town so when I’m home, I’m home. I take my dog for multiple walks a day, and we would love to have your dog join us I have a fenced in back yard, and my dog is very friendly. You’re dogs safety and comfort is a priority. I allow dogs on my furniture/bed.

About: For as long as I can remember, animals of all kinds have been drawn to me, and me to them. I grew up with cats, and to me, they were more like siblings than pets. My first cat Pugly tucked me into my crib each night, protecting me from thunderstorms, and keeping my secrets. I've never known a life without cats! Keeping purrs rolling, litter tidy, and water fresh are how I've been expressing love for my whiskered friends since I was a kid. I've had the pleasure of tending to cats of all ages and dispositions and know when to give them space, play, or cuddles. I'm also experienced with administering oral medications, including to cats with strong temperaments! I adore cats of all personalities, from cuddly lap cats to independent observers. I have always had a career in animal care since i was aloud to work! working at barns, kennels and volunteer work, i love it all. i’m a certified VHA and have completed my canine first aid. my neighbours often rely on me to care for their babies when out of town for walks, feeding, house sitting and lots of snuggles at the moment i am available for walks during the day, morning and evenings and drop in visits. About: I am a 25 year old ECE that lives in Fernie and I have a huge love for dogs, I unfortunately am unable to get a pet due to my house not being pet friendly, therefore I would like to walk dogs and dog sit so that I can have more time around dogs, growing up I had a boxer and a doodle so I have had big dogs my whole life and have lots of experience with them I am currently working full time so I am available nights weekends and wednesdays for dog walking and all week for pet sitting. I am pretty open I do not offer my home to pet due to the fact that the place I am renting isn’t pet friendly. I will only be able to pet/house sit and dog walk

About: For as long as I can remember, animals of all kinds have been drawn to me, and me to them. Though I grew up in a household of cats, I had the pleasure of being "raised" part-time by a German Shepard named Blackjack who rescued my Grammy. And what can I say? I adore doggos! I'm the type of person that will adjust my walking route to go to work so that I have more opportunity to see dogs (and their humans too, I suppose) on my commute. I've had the pleasure of tending to pups of all shapes and sizes, from my fur niece Willow the Wiener Dog, to my very first overnight sit with Juno the Husky. I love them all! I'm comfortable with older dogs and any additional medical support they may need, as well pups in training who might need a bit more guidance with getting to know the lay of the land. I truly love each animal I care for as if they are a best friend. I would love the opportunity to hang with your pup and make a new bestie! I'm currently running my own wellness business, primarily online at the moment, so I have plenty of space and time to care for your furry friend. I have been house and pet sitting across Canada and New Zealand since 2018 and treating any host homes as I would my own. Things like sharpening dull kitchen knives, weeding the flower bed you've been meaning to get to for weeks, deep cleaning the "pet tub", and of course nurturing your fur babies.

About: Helping your pets living their best life! I’m experienced with big size dogs, elder animals, giving medication if needed. I have my pet first aid course. But most of all, I’m a pet sitter that cares a lot about your pet’s well being and will adapt to all level of energy! I work evening shifts at Island Lake Lodge so my calendar is very flexible for walking your dog at mid day during the work days. For pet sitting, this season I’ll be working 8h/day except Wednesdays & Thursdays so I won’t be able to be full time with your pet at home. I walk dogs & do pet sitting within Fernie only. Always one dog at a time (or multiple dogs if they are from the same household). I also take care of cats & other pets and will give them all the love they deserve!
