“Sue was AMAZING! we were visiting from the states and had a full float day planned and needed her last minute to take care of our sweet boy. she was so awesome and murphy loved her instantly. after our meet and greet I did not feel nervous at all with her dropping in to let him out and play with him. she even stayed longer for the regular thirty minutes and sent me so many pics that instantly made me feel so happy and comfortable with leaving him. ❤️”

“I am thrilled to share my heartfelt gratitude for Lauren who took exceptional care of my two adorable cats while I was out of town. From the moment I left, I knew Fish and Chip were in the best hands. Lauren went above and beyond, not only ensuring they were fed and their litter boxes were clean but also showering them with love and attention. My cats were clearly happy and well-cared-for, which put my mind at ease throughout my time away. What impressed me most was Laurens’s genuine affection for my cats and her thoughtful updates, which reassured me that everything was going smoothly. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, caring, and truly understands the needs of your pets, I highly recommend Lauren. They made my time away worry-free and my return home a joyful reunion with my happy cats.”

9. Amy S.

“I am delighted to wholeheartedly recommend Amy, She is exceptionally caring and affectionate with our large team of 10 working farm dogs. Looking after farm dogs requires strict care, it is very important not to over feed the dogs and each dog requires a different portion size. It is also important to maintain their fitness level which requires Amy to run the dogs each morning and night. Amy has earned their trust and affection, I cannot think of anyone else whom I would entrust with this task, other than my immediate family members. My family and I were able to depart for an overseas holiday, knowing full well that our canine family members would be assured of lots of love and superb care in Amy’s very capable hands.”

10. Lauren E.

I have vehicle access if I need to drive to meet you. I live in a pet friendly home. I would mostly be walking the dogs or checking in on them if needed. Most of the time would be spent getting exercise.

16. Ida S.
About: For my first two months in Canada, I was pet sitting on TrustedHouseSitters. In total I took care of 4 cats and one dog. In the month before this I was in Finland, taking care of my aunts medium sized dog, Saana and my grandma's chihuahua, Telle, feeding them and taking them on daily walks. I own a cat back home in NZ, Snoopy. I've grown up my whole childhood around medium sized dogs. We had a border-collie, Niisku, when I was young and then two huntaways (nz farm dogs) Muscat and Leffe since. They have all been active dogs that require decent walks. I am an active person, enjoying going for long walks, runs and hiking. I'm looking for pet experiences because I love pets and miss having friendly companions, but also love an excuse to get outdoors. I am available immediately. I am new to Fernie and currently job hunting, so am flexible for weekdays, weekends, both during the day or morning/evenings. I have great communication skills, and will update you if there are any issues. I treat any pet or home like I would my own with lots of love, care and patience. I am a clean and tidy person. I have references on my Trustedhousesitters account.
