About: Hi there! My name is Laura and I am a passionate and active animal lover. By profession I am a registered nurse, but in my free time I love staying active by walking, hiking, and exploring Fernie - I would love if your pet would join me! I have a clean smoke free & child free home that is safe for pets of all kinds, but can also do home visits and walks at your home to keep your pet comfortable. I’ve had medium/large sized dogs as pets my whole life, and have experience babysitting cats, puppies, and dogs small and large. I understand that all dogs & cats are lovably different and I am happy to accommodate your pet’s needs in order to make sure they are happy, healthy and well taken care of! I am a part time shift worker so my schedule is variable and flexible! I live with a partner who can also help with your pets needs I have a small yard that is partially fenced. I have a long line tie out to let dogs explore the yard safely. I live in a small 2 storey home

About: I've had family dogs since I was born and have owned my own dog for the last 4 years. I love spending time with animals and love walking probably as much as your dog does! I will go above and beyond to make sure I prioritize your dogs interests and needs. I am responsible and organized and would be very respectful of your space. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!! I am currently still looking for full-time work in Fernie so I can be incredibly flexible with your, and your dogs, schedule. I typically go for long walks each day so adding in your pup would be ideal :) When caring for your dog in your home I will follow whatever guidelines and schedule your dog prefers! About: Hey there! I'm Ashling - originally from the UK but have been living in BC since Feb 2023, firstly in Vancouver for 2 years then all across the province this summer as I decided to explore a little and used trustedhousesitters to help! I have looked after many wonderful animals - from goats, chickens and turtles, big dogs, small dogs, old cats and kittens! I love animals and believe they are a truly important member of the family. I've recently moved to Fernie however our rental doesn't allow pets so Rover seems like a great way to get my furry fix whilst exploring this beautiful area. Very happy and comfortable with sitting, walking, and/or running your animals 😊 Look forward to meeting you! I work from home and my schedule is super flexible, so have lots of time during the day to get out and about or sit with your pets. I love running so if you've specific request for this then do let me know and I'd be happy to run your dog too. A call before any visit is preferable for me so we can run through your pets requirements and any little quirks they have! No two animals are the same and so I like to know a little about your pets personality to make sure they are comfortable and happy. For example, one lovely dog I've looked after doesn't like you being above them when you come in the home so you need to sit for a little while before they grant you access!

About: I have been full time dog walking for a year now. Rain, shine, wind, snow, I will walk your dog! I will work on training with your dog if necessary. I have done dog and cat sitting for over 5 years. I’ve always been the go to around the neighbourhood. I have experience working with all dogs from puppy to senior. I will not walk an aggressive dog. I am in Fernie for the winter, I am hoping to walk dogs and care for your pets as a way to make an income. I am available for walks any day of the week between 10-6 and available anytime for dog and cat sitting with enough notice. I am a dog walker full time back home in Nova Scotia. I have been doing this full time for a year now and part time for over 5 years. I adore my job because seeing animals happy makes me happy and I’m hoping to have that joy in my life in Fernie. I will always put the health, happiness, and safety of your pet first. I make sure we’re walking in a safe area. If we’re playing, a safe enclosed area. I will also work a bit on your dogs training as I’ve done with the dogs I walk on a regular basis in Nova Scotia.

About: Helping your pets living their best life! I’m experienced with big size dogs, elder animals, giving medication if needed. I have my pet first aid course. But most of all, I’m a pet sitter that cares a lot about your pet’s well being and will adapt to all level of energy! I work part time at Island Lake Lodge so my calendar is very flexible for pet sitting at your place or walk your dog during the work days. I walk dogs around Fernie and I’m willing to move around in Elk Valley for multi night pet sitting. Always one dog at a time (or multiple dogs if they are from the same household). I also take care of cats & other pets and will give them all the love they deserve!

About: I've had a dog since I was seven and have gotten used to taking care of them throughout my life. I really enjoy going for long walks, so I'm always happy to come over and tire your dog out! I work weekday mornings, but any other time, I’d be free to take your dog for a hike or to the lake! I find it’s a great way to get outside! I always make sure the gate is closed when pets are in the backyard, I always check to see if they have enough water and will adhere to your feeding schedule! As a pet owner, I value outdoor time for animals because I notice they're always happiest outside!

About: I've spent 3 weeks house sitting a rescue dog and cat in Christchurch, New Zealand plus many other weekends house sitting various pets. I have also fostered dogs including puppies for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. I'm currently off work for the shoulder season until December. About: I have had dogs and horses in my life for as long as I can remember. Hunting dog, ranch dogs, pets and rescues. I currently have have 6 dogs and 3 horses. Along with the boarding and adventuring I offer equine services, and small farm sitting. House plants, outside flower and garden care. I can operate ATV UTV and small farm tractors, I have been working with a very experienced dog trainer for over 3 years, I have learned great dog management skills and help with training class occasionally. I have also done some dog training for clients. I have excellent local references, upon request. I am honest reliable and I would love to sit/board for you. I live on 120 acres, with no neighbors in the Kootenai NF. I have multiple dog areas in my home and on the property. At no time will your pup be unsupervised. I am very active with my dogs, I am currently am training with Fae and Chaos and they require a lot of outside time and exercise. Our adventures include hiking paddle boarding, lots of swimming time at the lakes, horseback riding and ATV runs. In the winter activities depend on weather, snowshoeing and trail-joring. I would love to have your dogs come joins us for some pack theraphy fresh air and exercise. My dogs are family and yours will be to. Play dates are most welcome. Walks potty breaks. I am happy to watch them in my home or yours. Let me what your needs are and I will do my best to accommodate them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. Living off grid and having all the animals I have, and having a love for them, pet care has been a good fit for me. I am also available weekends and most Holidays. I don’t have another job. Your pet is my focus. I have a large fenced area for free play with a couple of my pups. . This area also has some agility equipment that they can learn to use. Rooms and areas of my home can also be blocked off to keep your dog separate if you prefer. I am currently adding inside kennels for separation needs, older dogs. Though my dogs are allowed on ALL my f6urniture and basically have the run of the house during the day, I will follow your rules while they are here. All of my dogs crate at night. In your home I will follow all instructions and treat animals and home with the utmost care. My clients say they can't even tell I was there. I also offer vet tech service for horses, bandage changes, hand walks, injections, medications, etc,. Light exercise can also be arranged Elderly dogs, medications, injections, nail trims, baths and grooming also available (extra fee)
