About: I love dogs so much. I care about every dog’s well-being being and growth as much as if they were my own. I just want them to be comfortable and have a good time all the time, they deserve it! I own a little energetic terrier and most of my close friends own dogs. So going on dog walks and taking care of pets is a huge part of my daily life already. Why not add more dogs to the party while I’m at it! Jokes aside, I just want my dog to go on walks with friends, he tends to exercise more that way and seems a lot more happy after a walk with another dog than on his own. I always make sure the dog is comfortable and feels at home and at ease around us and in the environment we live in. We have a decent sized fully fenced backyard and dogs can always play when they need to let out extra energy. That being said, we have a small house with a lot of stuff that is easy to reach for bigger dogs, so we only let dogs that are pretty relaxed and house trained inside the house.
About: I have my own lovely well trained husky that requires an abundance of attention and walks so might as well help out other community floofs while we're at it! I am frequently called upon by people for dog care and check ins for their animals as I grew up on a farm and have always been around animals and tending to thier needs :) I am very active going on hikes and cross country skiing and all sorts of adventures with my dog! One of my top skills is strong communication and sending goofy pictures of your fur baby. We've just moved to town from Vancouver Island and have full availability for helping out. I'm currently a student at University with my schedule changing in the fall during my practicum in October/November. I'm doing online classes otherwise so I'm very flexible :) I am very attentive and usually prefer to go on adventures rather than hang at the house but of course that depends on the pets needs. My kitchen shelves have more dog treats than human treats and I rarely crate dogs unless it is part of their training regime.I prefer to go to the clients house as thier pets are usually more comfortable in their own space and this is all about them!
About: I've had my own dogs since I was 3. Throughout my life I've always been the one friends and family leave their pets with. Absolutely fine by me as my two favourite things are dogs and walking! Me and my partner, Ella, take Bimini for walks everyday, we'd all be super happy for some extra company. I have no other commitments and am basically free to walk morning, afternoon and evening, 7 days a week = no lonely doggos. I am also fully DBS checked. We moved from a farm in the UK with 5 doggos to Canada with just one! Bim is missing her friends from home, she loves to go on big walks but absolutely will happily chill on the sofa or garden for the rest of the day, or depending if you have a playful pup they'll spend all day entertaining them. Luckily I'm based right by the start of lots of trails and the brilliant dog park!
