Are you looking for someone to hang out with your dog while you enjoy all that Fernie has to offer? I’m your person! I only accept one dog at a time, so they will be individually looked after all day. Abra was amazing ! We had a meet and greet the day before just to ensure she would be comfortable. Great communication and updates as soon as I dropped her off ! Will be definitely be using her services when we come back again to fernie :)
Loki spent two daycare days with Abra while we were vacationing in Fernie. He enjoyed his time and was well taken care of. She provided updates about his stay and communication was good.
We were in town in Fernie, British Columbia, for just a week, and Abra was an absolute lifesaver! She cared for Iris in her home while we were out mountain biking, sightseeing, or working. She was so conscientious about sending photos and regular updates, which gave us total peace of mind. We could tell she genuinely cared for Iris and paid attention to every detail. Iris was happy and relaxed when we picked her up, and everything went perfectly. We’ll definitely book with Abra again—highly recommend!
Abra looked after our dog for a day while in Fernie for some fishing. Abra was dependable, flexible, and treated our dog like it was her own. Wouldn’t hesitate to call in again.

Schedule
I am currently working remotely with a fairly flexible schedule so I can work with you to figure out a timing that works best for everyone. I would love to have your dog come be my office companion for the day and accompany me on my lunchtime walk around the neighborhood.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and an animal-free home. There is almost always someone home, but in the odd case there isn’t I am very happy to either crate the dog or make sure it is in a safe secure environment. Having had a very large dog that others found intimidating I learned well how to read other dogs on dog walks and know how to keep your dog safe.
A typical day
I love working out a dog both physically and mentally! I will ensure there is enough time to sniff, while also getting out physical energy. Where necessary I’m happy to help work on basic leash training and other simple tricks as well.
