Availability
I typically work in the evenings so have lots of time during the day to walk your dogs or check in on your cats and other animals. I do have day shifts every so often, but have a very flexible schedule with shifts typically never longer than 6-8hrs. So, I’ll never be away from your animals for too long.

Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to look after pets in my home as my roommate is extremely allergic to dogs and particularly cats. However, I am available to house / pet sit for you. Alternatively, I can just take your dog for walks around your neighbourhood. I am open to anything!
Information Helen V. would like to know about your pet
It’s always good to know if your pets have separation anxiety and if there are any specific behavioral/ medical problems to look out for & be made aware of. Do they have any favorite treats / games / friends in the area? And are they okay to travel on public transport if we go somewhere further afield for a walk?
A typical day
If your dog likes to socialise and you have a dog park nearby, we will get up and go first thing in the morning so they can be off their lead. In the afternoon we will go for a longer walk in one of the parks / walking trails in your area. At the end of the day we will typically go for a shorter walk locally. Do let me know where you and your dog like to walk and what your usual routine is. I am happy to mimic the usual route or try new places.

Reviews

Helen was fantastic! She came and met us before we left and sent little updates while we were away. I would definitely recommend her.

Helen is super responsible and a great sitter for our cat!

If I could give Helen more stars I would. She’s so kind and really made our time away less stressful. Hewie got lots of walks and adventures and is still tired 😂 She’s quick at replying and updated us daily with photos. Well definitely book her again! Thanks Helen

Helen was awesome. Great communication. She kept me informed on some issues Tucker was having being the first time with a sitter in our home. She was patient and persistent working with him getting him comfortable with someone in our home with us not being there. She took him on lots of adventures around town and he was a very happy boy when we arrived home.
