“Cindy took very good care of our baby girl and made her feel so comfortable. We really appreciate her and her husband and how they looked after Poppy. Highly recommend reaching out to her for day care or boarding!”

“Michelle was such an incredible host for our dogs at her home. She is very clearly a dog lover ! She was very responsible, organized and communicative with us before and during our doggies stay with her. Will certainly use her again in the future as it was such a successful stay”

“Where do we begin? We were so nervous about leaving Nicky with strangers. And we are truly so grateful to have found Susan and Brian. Full disclosure, we thought about not writing this review so that we could keep Susan and Brian all to ourselves, but we know that they will take very, very good care of other, beloved pets so here we are. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Susan and Brian! They made sure that our human and the furry family members were comfortable from the start. Communication was excellent. They made sure to keep us updated with regular messages and photos. They also created a little “report card” upon our return so we knew exactly how and what Nicky was doing each day — such a thoughtful touch! They went above and beyond while caring for our dog. When Nicky had unexpected tummy issues, they handled it with such care and ease. We had peace of mind the entire time we were away. We highly recommend Susan and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive, kind, gentle, funny, dedicated and wonderfully caring sitters for their furry family members. Susan and Brian, thank you so much!”

“Heather was 10/10 during the whole process. It was our first time user rover and she made everything seem so flawless! She constantly sent photos and updates and when there was a change of plans, Heather didn’t hesitate! I will definitely be booking my girly with her again!”

“Jillian was amazing, lots of updates and pictures which made us feel at ease while away. Bobby and Lloyd were happy and relaxed when I picked them up. Def. Would recommend Jillian and I would leave Bobby and Lloyld with her again.”

“We had such a great experience with Katherine. The daily updates were thoughtful and reassuring, and it was clear Quinn was happy, comfortable, and very well looked after. It made being away so much easier. I truly can’t recommend Katherine enough!”

“Max has never stayed away - and as a nervous pet owner - I was reassured throughout his stay with updates and pictures! I couldn't have asked for a better experience :)”

About: Our family provides pet care together, with myself and my husband, Vitaly, being fully responsible for all pets in our care. Our 11-year-old daughter is also deeply involved and passionate about animals. She has completed courses through the local Humane Society and is currently finishing a pet sitter course. She loves helping with walks, playtime, feeding, brushing, and giving animals lots of affection under our supervision. We also have another 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Animals are already a meaningful part of our family life, and we are planning to welcome our own dog within the next two years. In many ways, pet care has become a beautiful opportunity for us to spend time with dogs while continuing to learn and prepare as future dog owners ourselves. As a family, we enjoy learning about dog behaviour, training, and care, and even love watching Cesar Millan together. We have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. We have completed both a 10-day farm sitting stay in the summer and a 7-day stay in the winter for close friends with a hobby farm that includes two dogs, a cat, goats, chickens, and other animals. Our responsibilities included daily feeding, animal care, cleaning, outdoor chores, and even milking goats. In addition, we have experience fostering dogs in our home, providing pet care for friends and neighbours, dog walking, and drop-in visits/check-ins for bathroom breaks and companionship. One summer, we also helped a neighbour with daily noon-time puppy check-ins for six weeks while they were at work. We are a calm, caring, outdoorsy family who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. We are best suited for dogs who are comfortable around children and reasonably calm around cats. We do have a cat in the home, though she has her own quiet spaces and hiding spots where she can retreat comfortably when needed. My husband and I both work as entrepreneurs mostly from home. We do sometimes leave the house for around 2-4 hrs for different activities with our homeschooled children. Sometimes we can bring dogs with us, sometimes they need to stay at the house. Our family like to take regular walks in the morning and evening so we don’t need to change our routine too much when we add a dog to the house. We have a fenced yard and three level house. We are extra tidy when dogs are around and are careful with leaving food out. We once had a dog eat a brick of butter from the counter…let’s say we learned our lesson!
“I couldn’t have asked for a better family to take care of my 10 year old Goldendoodle, Ginger! Anne and Andrew were amazing with caring for her while I was overseas for two months! Anne kept me in the loop with tons of updates and pictures. You could tell Ginger really grew attached to them, and she seemed so comfortable and happy there. She was spoiled and allowed up on the couch and even cuddled up in their bed! They also have an older Goldendoodle who’s the sweetest, and they got along so well. Their place is beautiful, safe, and perfect for dogs. I’d absolutely trust them with Ginger anytime and will definitely use them again. Anne and Andrew are truly wonderful dog sitters!”

“Jessica and family treated my dog, Cooper, just like he was their own and I knew he was in good hands from the moment I met them. They sent many updates, including photos and videos. I will definitely be using their dog sitting services again and highly recommend them!”

“Angii was a terrific sitter for our dog. He felt comfortable with her quickly and she thoughtfully sent us photos during his stay. We would definitely book with Angii again. Five Stars!”

About: I have had dogs since I was 4. (Family dogs) then I have had 3 dogs that I have had with my own family. Can’t live without out one in my life. Looked after friends and other family dogs for them. Love getting out for a walk with a dog. I’m self employed and I’m working part time. So I have lots of time to take care of dogs. Being self employed I can make time to giving your dog the best care by being here for them. I have a fenced in yard. Plus love taking dogs for walks. I’m willing to do what makes the customer happy. I don’t have a dog of my own at this time. We just lost our family dog of 14yrs.
“Melanie was great with Teebo, he was visibly happy in all of the pictures & videos that we received from her while we were away. She kept us updated with texts the entire stay. We will definitely use her in the future & we highly recommend her to others. Thank you Melanie! ?”

“Geo and Amanda are absolute gems of dog sitters. They took in both of my dogs just as their own and updated me thoroughly throughout each day. Their home was so beautiful and such a comfy safe space for my dogs to run and rest. They were absolutely so kind and made me feel so at peace knowing my babies were in safe hands!”

“Damla was awesome! We loved getting the pictures and updates throughout Shiner's stay. We will certainly call upon her again. We felt at ease leaving him with her. Thank you!”

About: My whole life i have grown up around all kinds of animals, i have fostered & worked for the OSPCA. I can provide a safe and loving environment for them & treat them with respect. Every animal is different so i adjust my care based on their needs, but mainly i find love and time benefits them all ♡ I'm working on my own time so I thought i could help out someone in need with they're loved ones & make some extra money :) Every animal is different, so I will always listen to the animal & they're owners to make sure they are as comfortable & safe in every environment we go & are in. Collingwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michelle is the most awesome dog sitter!! We just moved to Collingwood and Michelle was our pick for our 80 lb Bernedoodle, Ziggy. Ziggy loved his walks and playtime with the other dogs. Michelle handles dogs well. She is highly organized and sent some really good photos of Ziggy’s activities with her. Ziggy had a visible smile on his face for several days after his first visit with Michelle.

We have not left our little Sprout with many strangers but within 5 minutes of our meet and greet we knew she would be well looked after. Susan and Brian were so welcoming and it was evident that they would provide excellent care. They were incredible and kept us up-dated the whole time. We are so happy we found them and will not hesitate to use their services again. As for Sprout, if she could talk, she would give them a 5 star plus plus rating as she had an amazing day with them!!
